The fifth installment in the series of arcade fighting games developed by Team Ninja. The game offers more than twenty playable characters among which one can find Ryu Hayabusa and Momiji known from the Ninja Gaiden series, female ninja warriors Kasumi and Ayane, wrestler Tina, crazy Zack, and a few newcomers. The fighters can be personalized, for the player unlocks outfits for them. As usual, the player participates in fast-paced duels requiring them to play aggressively and intercept enemy punches directed on different body parts in order to achieve victory. The game features the infamous breast physics simulation which is a characteristic trait of the series. Fighting takes place on multi-leveled, three-dimensional arenas containing destructible elements. Apart from the single-player mode complemented by a storyline and a boss fight at the end, Dead or Alive 5 offers over a dozen of different game modes, including multiplayer ones.

A continuation of the popular fighting game, taking place in the universe created by Akira Toriyama. Once again, Dimps Corporation is the developer responsible for the title. The players once again participate in spectacular duels, assuming the roles of characters known from the animated original. The newest addition to the series is a rebuilt single player mode, called “Dragon World”, where the protagonists travel around the map in search for the titular Dragon Balls. Along the way, they encounter various enemies that are battled on different arenas. Additionally, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 contains Duel and World Tournament modes – the former allows the player to choose his opponent and leaves him the choice of the arena, while the latter introduces a series of encounters that are played as a tournament. It should be mentioned that we can either go solo, competing with the AI, or invite another player. The cel-shaded visuals are undoubtedly a mainstay of the game, paying tribute to the works of the legendary mangaka. The game introduces the ability to import your character from the previous installment.

Shadow Fight 3 is a 2.5D fighting game, which means that while the graphics were made in full 3D, the gameplay mechanics are 2D. The three-dimensional locations and characters are the main difference between this game and the previous installments in the series. The production utilizes a free-to-play model with microtransactions. The game is set in a fantasy world inspired by Asian legends and features warriors, who can use superhuman powers. The gameplay consists of one-on-one duels in a gesture-based combat system. Those classic fighting game rules have been expanded by adding some role-playing elements. You create your character, which can be further developed thanks to a skill tree, allowing you to unlock new techniques and attacks.
