Since birth, the woman was connected to Aiden, an incorporeal creature that ventured into our world.

A psychological first-person horror from the Polish developer studio Bloober Team, known best for another horror game, entitled Layers of Fear. Observer is set in a cyberpunk universe, in Cracow of 2048. In the game you play as Daniel Lazarski (starred by Rutger Hauer, known from the film Blade Runner), a detective able to hack into people’s minds.

The player controls several seemingly unrelated characters, each with their own storylines and motivations. How the story develops depends greatly on the decisions made by the player as all plots intertwine until they meet at the game's finale. What’s characteristic for the game is its focus on matters of morality and ethics.

The team comprises of veteran developers, previously working on such titles as The Walking Dead, Mark of the Ninja, BioShock 2, and Brutal Legend. The story of Firewatch takes place in an enormous forest in the American state of Wyoming, where our hero is trying to escape his day-to-day problems by becoming a ranger.

A typical point-and-click adventure game and a continuation to 2012's Yesterday. Yesterday Origins was developed by the creators of the original game - the Spanish Pendulo Studios. Again, the player takes on the role of John Yesterday; as for the plot, it was divided into two timelines. Thus the player, familiar with present-day events, is taken back to the era of the Spanish Inquisition. In terms of game mechanics, the game follows the pattern of its predecessor.

The player is put in the shoes of Paul Prospero - a detective who has developed certain paranormal abilities. The protagonist tries to solve the mystery behind the vanishing of a young boy. The player traverses an extensive, open world - the game is non-linear and the player is free to explore and look for subsequent clues.

A compilation of remastered editions of two adventure games developed by Spike Chunsoft - a Japanese studio. The Nonary Games includes 2009's 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward - a game which came out three years later. Since the plots of the two games are strongly connected, it is recommended to play through them in chronological order.

A detective visual novel adventure game by Kadokawa Games, set in contemporary Japan. The production is extended by a new content of the original remake, which was released in 2016. The re-edition replaced the original two-dimensional illustrations with photographs and films of actors characterized as heroes of the title.

A first-person perspective adventure game that combines elements of spy movies and horror. It is the first large game developed by the Polish studio Jujubee known mostly for its futuristic racing series Flashout. The story of the game focuses on the mysterious disaster of the Russian submarine K-141 Kursk which sank during the summer of 2000 on the Barents Sea. It was never determined what caused the incident.

Adventure canceled

A first-person perspective adventure game exploiting the psychological thriller genre. The plot in The Works of Mercy draws inspiration from such films as The Tenant by Roman Polanski and Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining. The title was developed by Polish studio Pentacle, whose team members have worked on titles such as The Witcher or Call of Juarez. The player is in control of a man whose family got kidnapped by a psychopath.

The game was inspired by American TV series such as The X-Files or The Twilight Zone, as well the British series Black Mirror and video games like The Stanley Parable or P.T. (the playable teaser of the ultimately cancelled Silent Hills).

The plot picks off using one of the alternative endings of the predecessor. Okabe Rintaro, a student heartbroken after the tragic death of his friend Kurisu Makise, makes an appointment to a psychiatric health facility.

The plot of Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony tells the story of a kidnapped high school student named Kaede Akamatsu. Together with other students, he is taken to a school called Gifted Inmates Academy. The academy’s director is a teddy bear named Monokuma.

An action-adventure thriller game created by Dino Games - an independent Russian developer. The game is set in three parallel worlds and decisions made in one affect developments in the other two. The plot is non-linear - the course of events is largely dependent on the player's actions. The creators were inspired mainly by Heavy Rain, thus exploration, puzzle solving and conversations are at the core of this experience; the events are viewed from various cinematic perspectives.
