The player directs the actions of a young girl - Erika Yamada, who unattentionally exposes her family to the action of the title curse. Due to the dark climate and terrifying scenes, the title is addressed to older audiences.

In the game, we assume the role of Gabe who tries to escape the Sprawl space station alongside his companion while fending off hordes of necromorphs.

Players have the opportunity to get to know two dark stories, directing separately the actions of a man and a woman. Both heroes suffer from amnesia and try to escape through labyrinths of rooms filled with riddles and traps. The game takes advantage of the technical capabilities of the Nintendo DS console, including the touch screen of the device.
