Today, Nintendo hosted the first Indie World showcase since the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2. This comes just one week after the Partner Showcase, which revealed Octopath Traveler 0 and Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. Even though some indie games like Hollow Knight: Silksong or Hades 2 didn’t make an appearance in today’s showcase, there were still a ton of exciting announcements for both brand-new and pre-existing titles.

Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase is stacked with over a dozen great games for the Switch and Switch 2

The showcase started off with a quick look at Mina the Hollower, the upcoming game from Shovel Knight developers, Yacht Club. If you didn’t know, there’s a demo available now. The showcase also featured a new metroidvania game from Kyle Thompson, the solo developer of Crypt Custodian. This new game is called Well Dweller. There was also a fascinating new action RPG set on Earth 65 million years in the future called Glaciered that will be a timed console exclusive. Plus, two great indie games were shadow-dropped today for the Nintendo console, including UFO 50, the collection of retro-inspired games from Mossmouth, the team behind the Spelunky series.

Here’s everything that was shown today during the Indie World Showcase.

  • Mina the Hollower – Yacht Club – October 31st, 2025 – Demo Available Now
  • Well Dweller – Kyle Thompson – 2026
  • Neverway – Coldblood Inc. / Outersloth – 2026
