Starting the mission

1. After completing the Missed Connection quest, go to the planet Hawley in the Alpha Centauri system.
2. Land near the reclaimed outpost. You'll have to face several members of Ecliptica – however, they aren't dangerous opponents.
3. On the first floor of the reclaimed outpost, free and talk to a man named Bonifac Maksimov. Remember, you need to eliminate all opponents in the building before doing that.

Stephen Maldonado - confrontation

1. After talking to Maksimov, you'll have to get to the second room. For this purpose, you can use the key found in the corner, or you can go up the stairs to the very top and thus reach Maksimov.
2. Once you have killed all Ecliptica members, listen to Maksimov's conversation with Maldonado.
3. You can reject Maldonado's proposal or betray Maksimov. If you choose the first option, you'll have to kill Maldonado. Otherwise, get rid of Maksimov. You can earn extra credits by cooperating with Maldonado or by looting his body.

Return to Gagarin

1. Return the data collected from Maldonado's corpse to Helena on Gagarin. If you have allied yourself with Stephen, you have to lie to the woman.
2. The quest will end at Reliant Medical. You'll receive XP and credits. You'll receive more credits from Helena if you eliminate Maldonado.
