Starfield: Is there a photo mode?
You can take great screenshots in Starfield thanks to its photo mode.
Last update:
Starfield has an easily accessible photo mode. All you need to do is press the ESC key and select the Photo Mode option on the left side. If you are playing on the controlles, double-click the start button marked with three horizontal lines. You can now take a photo and adjust its parameters, such as the field of view, brightness, your character's pose, or a filter.
To navigate between options in photo mode, simply use the arrows and the Q and E keys to switch between the tabs. On the controller, you can do that by using LB and RB buttons. To take a picture, press space or A on the controller.

In the main options, you can use a free camera which can be moved away from the character and choose a frame that interests you. You can also use the orbital camera, which is locked at a certain distance from your hero, as well as a selfie. All this, combined with filters, brightness, saturation, contrast, and frames settings, allows you to make very creative pictures.
The finished photo is saved in the Photo Gallery, which you can access on the left side of the screen after pressing the ESC key or pressing the button marked with three horizontal lines twice on the controller. Now all you need to do is play, discover beautiful locations and photograph them thanks to the Photo Mode.
