Stellar Blade: Crane puzzle in Construction Zone on Eidos 7

One of the larger puzzles encountered during Scavenger Adam story quest in Stellar Blade while on Eidos 7 is the crane puzzle in Construction Zone. On this page of our guide, we show the locations of 3 Crane ID Cards, and how to set the hanging beams to create a pathway across the chasm.

Reaching the crane console

1. In the Construction Zone area of Eidos 7, there is a major puzzle to complete involving activating and operating the crane. The goal of this puzzle is to open the way to the sewer entrance in the back area of Construction Zone.
2. Start by reaching the central area of Construction Zone. There is a console used to operate the crane not far from the camp. When you try to interact with it, you'll learn that you need 3 Crane ID Cards. These items are found in various parts of Construction Zone and you can find them in any order.

First Crane ID Card

1. There is a climbing spot in the left part of Construction Zone. You will recognize it easily thanks to it being marked with yellow paint.

1. During the climb, get to higher shelves and jump to bars and interactive edges. Ultimately, you'll reach one of the higher levels of the constructed building. Eliminate the monsters encountered here and open the large chest from the screenshot. The first ID Card is inside.

Second Crane ID Card

1. Explore the back area of the Construction Zone. You'll find a large generator, and after defeating nearby monsters, you can turn it on.

1. Activating it restores the power supply and activates an elevator that is near the camp (screenshot). Ride the elevator to the higher level of the constructed building.

1. At your destination, there is a small encampment with a sofa and sought large chest that contains the ID Card.

Third Crane ID Card

1. Explore the outskirts of the construction zone and you should locate a pathway leading to a neighboring location which we show in the screenshot above. It is marked with large amounts of yellow paint.

1. While exploring the new area, aside from defeating monsters, look for a ladder - climbing it will allow you to reach a higher area. After defeating a few stronger monsters, look around the area for a large chest containing the final card.

Solving the crane puzzle

1. Once you have obtained all 3 cards, you can return to the crane console. This time it will work and you will take control of the crane.

1. The assumptions of the puzzle is to move the hanging metal beams to create a pathway leading out of the location. The game will allow you to manipulate 2 different objects, but for the purpose of completing the puzzle, you only need to adjust the default left one. Set the hanging beam as shown in the screenshot above. Make sure it is placed low enough so Eve can reach it via jumping.

1. Leave the crane console, approach the hanging beams, climb the moved beam and run across the makeshift bridge above the chasm. This will allow you to reach the sewer entrance - another location of Eidos 7.

Optional area in Construction Zone

1. Tip - optionally, you can move the beam all the way to the left. This will allow you to reach a different area. Thanks to this, you'll be able to reach a higher level of a building in the back of the Construction Zone - we show this area in the screenshot, as it contains various secrets.
