Stellar Blade: How to get to the Forbidden Area in the Wasteland?

1. The Forbidden Area is the name for one of the better hidden areas in the Wasteland. It is available from your first visit to the Wasteland, but it is best to wait to explore it until you unlock the side mission, Life of the Scavengers, which is related to it.

1. The opportunity to unlock the side quest will appear after starting the main mission called Light of Hope. In Xion, reach the quest giver from the picture - it is in the western part of the city. The assignment involves investigating the Forbidden Area in search of Tommy.

How to get down to the Forbidden Area?

1. Forbidden Area is a medium-sized underground location. The entrance to it is at the eastern end of the Wasteland and once the side quest is unlocked, a relevant marker will also appear. Nearby there is, among others, a telephone booth and a camp (together with a bulletin board).
2. Find a large hole in the ground in the Wasteland. However, be careful not to accidentally fall into it, because a fall from such a great height is a certain death for Eve.

1. A hanging rope will help you start a safe descent. Grab it and rappel down to the lower shelf.

1. Carefully descend or jump down to lower shelves. Avoid jumping from great heights, as unnecessary loss of health points will make it harder for you to win the upcoming fight.
2. Locate a ladder at the bottom of the large shaft. There is another hanging rope nearby.

Duel with the optional boss Brute

1. Exploring the Forbidden Area will initially be prevent by the emergence of an optional boss - it's a Brute, the same type of monster you faced at the end of the prologue.
2. The boss from the Forbidden Area is much stronger - it can deal more damage and you have to deprive it of health points for longer. Make sure before the fight that you have a full set of healing items and that you have equipped Eve with appropriately good equipment.

This Brute is not only stronger, but also "learned" some new attacks:

1. Upon seeing the blue attack, activate the Blink skill - press the combination Up + Circle to teleport behind the boss.
2. Especially dangerous are the purple attacks. If you already have the Repulse skill, then perform the Down + Circle combination after Eve's weapon glows purple. Thanks to this, you will avoid Brute's fatal attack and at the same time inflict some damage.

1. Brute's yellow attacks can be very dangerous, especially when it goes into a rage. When that happens, run around the arena, to effectively avoid ranged attacks and a series of jumps combined with strong strikes to the ground.

Finishing exploration of the Forbidden Area and return to Xion

1. After winning the duel with the boss, collect the loot. In the cave, there is also, among other things, a new suit for Eve.
2. Finally, examine the nearby body - it will be Tommy and you will find a note on him, containing the code 000000. Perform a climb to return to the surface and report to the quest giver in Xion.

1. The locked chest that requires the code 000000 is located next to the Sisters' Junk shop in Xion. It contains rare crafting materials.
