Clair Obscur gives players a wide range of possibilities in terms of composing a party and the skills of individual heroes. If, after spending some time with a given build, you decide to change it, the game has a respec option. On this page, you will learn everything about resetting skills and attributes.
How to reset skills and attributes?
You can perform the respec in the same place where you distribute the earned experience points - at one of the flags of previous expeditions. Select the tab that interests you (attributes or skills), and then select the character you want to reset.
Respec in Expedition 33 is called Recoat. Press the button displayed next to the indicated option (Y/Triangle on the controller, R on the keyboard). When you do this, all the points spent will be returned to you, and you will be able to distribute them again.
However, respec is not completely free. Every reset uses an item called recoat. You can find these consumable items while exploring locations. In the later stages of the game, you will also be able to buy them from certain merchants. From our experience, they appear quite often, so at higher levels you shouldn't have too much trouble doing a full respec of a character or even the entire party.
