Dying Light The Beast: Character development

To move forward with the plot, it's worth improving Kyle's abilities, especially since the further you get in the story, the harder it gets. Moreover, some regions, although available from the beginning, are inhabited by high-level opponents. For this reason, it's worth knowing how to improve the main character. Basic skills

While in previous the Dying Light games, experience points were received for performing specific actions, this process has been standardized in The Beast. Basic abilities are gathered on one skill tree. You receive skill points when you level up. From now on, experience is accumulated on one common bar: for both combat and parkour.

When you reach a new level, go to the Skills tab and purchase a new ability. Some skills will only unlock after you buy previous ones.

Beast's skills

Beast skills is a new tree, thanks to which you can use special abilities in beast mode. You will earn points to unlock them as you progress through the story by defeating bosses. In total, there are 14 skills and each of them gives different effects, e.g. improved sprint, new forms of attack, or interesting passive skills.

Character attributes and statistics

When you level up, you will not be able to allocate any statistic points, as the game does not have any. Leveling up only gives you skill points.

The only way to modify stats is to equip Kyle with the appropriate armor. Each armor offers certain stat bonuses. The rarer the item, the more interesting stats it has.

Weapon modifications

You can also modify weapons to gain access to further enhancements for the hero. Each of them offers something different and requires specific crafting materials.
