Money in Dying Light the Beast is very helpful. With them you can buy a lot of crafting materials, weapons, ammunition and healing items. However, how to acquire all that cash? That's what you'll find out in our guide.
Money plays a key role in the world of Dying Light The Beast, allowing you to purchase necessary equipment and materials. On this page of the guide, you will learn what are the most effective methods for getting rich fast. We explain how to earn cash by selling valuables, killing Volatiles, completing quests and exploring special locations.
- Selling valuables
- Where to find valuables?
- Kill the Volatiles for morphine
- Clear out convoys and dark zones
- Complete the quests
Selling valuables
The truth is you earn the most money by selling valuables. The higher the rarity of such an item, the more you will receive in return. Nevertheless, after every longer exploration, it's worth going to a merchant and emptying your backpack of "junk" to get some money.
Where to find valuables?
You will find many valuables while performing quests and searching various buildings. Searching the bodies of zombies also increases your chances of finding valuable loot, however, it is time-consuming and not very profitable in the case of common, basic mutants. However, searching the corpses of less common opponents is recommended.
Moreover, human opponents often drop items of at least blue quality.
Kill the Volatiles for morphine
Volatiles, known from previous parts of Dying Light, are challenging opponents. They are characterized by speed, a large amount of health, and significant damage. Killing Volatiles will give you a lot of experience points, as well as morphine - a legendary item that can be sold for a lot of money.
If you want to learn the tactics for easily killing the Volatiles, read our guide page for The Beast: How to easily kill Volatiles.
Clear out convoys and dark zones
Apart from the main reward, dark zones also contain many different items - from crafting materials to valuables for sale. Use your Survivor Sense to more easily locate all the treasures.
The same goes for convoys, except there you will have to locate the armored zombie. Once the enemy is dead, loot the corpse to find a card that will allow you to open the vehicle's door.
Complete the quests
Basic advice, yet very profitable. It's worth initially focusing on side quests. Focusing only on the main story will result in you not having the recommended level for a given mission.
