An unusual real-time strategy game developed by Crytivo Games. We control a small society from a level of a tribe up to the era of great galactic empires. The Universim is based on the typical elements found in grand strategy games. Our duties include leading the society through the next stages of technological growth up to a level that allows us to colonize entire star systems. The game begins on a small planet with a group of tribesmen. From that moment, we shape our society through city building, resource gathering, creating a healthy economy, and conducting research on new technologies. The whole process is quite relaxed and player-friendly, introducing a number of alternative ways of attaining our goal. The gameplay is also enriched by random events that force the player to respond in time and modify his development strategy.

Super Meat Boy: Forever is a spin-off of the Super Meat Boy series developed by Team Meat. Once again, we get a 2D game where action is presented from a side-scrolling perspective. This time, however, we do not have full control over the titular character. He continuously runs ahead, we can only help him avoid all sorts of traps and obstacles. We will also have fight with powerful bosses every once in a while. In addition to single player, the game offers the so-called Endless mode where we have to run as far as possible and survive as long as possible. Our score is then published in online rankings when we can compare our times with the achievements of other players. The game has cartoonish visuals and lots of dark humor in it. Super Meat Boy: Forever has many references to other games, i.e. unlockable characters from various indie productions.

The first DLC expansion for Assassin’s Creed: Unity. The add-on is included in the season pass for the game. It takes place after the events presented in the base version of the game and takes the player from the streets of Paris into the dark catacombs of Saint-Denis. There Arno becomes part of a new intrigue related to the tomb raiders who are profaning the tombs of French kings in order to find valuable treasures. The game mostly takes place in the large undergrounds inhabited by various wild animals. While traveling through the dark metropolis, Arno is facing enemies and solving puzzles that are taking him closer to solving the mysteries of the area. The graphics and the story are much darker than those of the base game. It is worth mentioning that the protagonist can use a new weapon, the guillotine gun.

A cyberpunk platformer with adventure elements. Developed by Odd Tales, it's the company's first commercial production, developed from a free title that has won Cyberpunk Jam 2014. The action of The Last Night is set in a futuristic, open city divided into four areas of different appearance and atmosphere, which influences gameplay. You assume the role of a spy hired by private employers who give you such tasks as stealing cars or killing particular people. The city is filled with cameras and patrols, so in order to succeed, you need to sneak, avoid raising suspicion, look for alternative paths, and hack various computer networks. Chatting with NPCs is also an efficient way of getting the job done – the characters dynamically react to the player’s actions.

A classic turn-based RPG in a postapocalyptic setting, and with a strong dash of roguelike elements. Skyshine Games, whose staff worked on the Darksiders series among others, took the reins of the production. The game is set in the distant future, on Earth - a planet destroyed as a result of scientific experiments gone wrong. The surviving life focuses around two metropolitan areas: Byzantium - a decaying city, and the utopian Aztec City. The player assumes the role of the Mechanic who is a successor to the once powerful guild of inventors. Using his armored vehicle called Dozer, the hero wanders the desert collecting raw materials and fighting with numerous enemies, be it bandits, mutants, cyborgs, or robots. The game also features randomly generated plot challenges such as transporting passengers between the cities. The experience we gain by completing these quest enables us to develop the skills of our subordinates and modify our armored vehicle.

An independent retro RPG, which combines elements of a detective game and a horror. The main protagonist of Pixel Noir is trying to solve a mystery of the tragic events from a decade ago when his partner died, leading to him quitting work as a police officer, as he unjustly was sentenced to jail. After being released, he begins to work as a private detective and tries to solve minor cases, until finally, he finds a lead that might help him get the answers that have been taunting him for years. As befits a true RPG, in Pixel Noir, the players get to explore numerous locations, interact with NPCs, find clues, collect valuable items, and fight enemies. Combat is turn-based, nonetheless, it features certain arcade elements. The main protagonist is accompanied by other characters, each one exhibiting unique skills and utilized weapons. Pixel Noir delivers neutral and grim pixel-art visuals.

The story of the game takes place in the New York City in year 2009. The city is mortified by a series of brutal murders committed by otherwise lawful citizens for no apparent reasons. The player assumes the role of Kane, a man who, haunted by strange visions, kills a person he was completely unfamiliar with. The second playable character is inspector Carla Valenti who, together with her partner, is investigating the mysterious murders. The objective of the game is to determine who is responsible for those acts. The game puts great focus on story, exploration, and conversations with characters. The new version of the game has introduced game controller support and greatly refreshed graphics. What’s interesting, during the game one can freely switch between the original and remastered visuals.

Compilation of the first three installments in the cult brawler game series, released for arcade machines at the turn of the 1980s and 90s. The remasters of those classic titles were handled by DotEmu. Double Dragon Trilogy tells of the adventures of two brothers – Billy and Jimmy Lee – Sou-Setsu-Ken masters, who run a small martial arts school in a post-apocalyptic New York. All three games are focused on two-person co-op gameplay, which comes down to traversing two-dimensional levels and beating up opponents on the way. Melee combat is based on a whole range of punches and kicks as well as the frequent use of different types of weapons. The games offer both Story Mode and Arcade Mode, the latter being all about high scores. Double Dragon Trilogy returns with slightly enhanced graphics, although it is also possible to play with the original audiovisuals. In addition, the remasters offer three levels of difficulty and the option to customize controls.

Running with Rifles is a 2D top-down shooter developed by a one-person Finnish studio Modulaatio Games. The game features open world and RPG elements. We play as a soldier who, along with his company, has to take over an enemy base, and at the same time protect his own from being taken over. Maps on which the game takes place are around one square kilometer big. There are up to fourteen camps, divided between a couple of factions, on each of them. The game uses one shot - one kill mechanics, we have to use our surroundings to find cover and shoot in a right moment, or else we will be the ones getting the bullet and dying. As we progress, our unit can grow to up to ten people, we gain experience, and more influence on our company. The game was designed with multiplayer in mind, but in case we won't be able to find other players, we can compete against A.I.

A strategy game set in a science-fiction world. This is the debut of the British Machine studio, led by a former member of an independent developer Mode 7 - Simon Roth. The action is set in the far future, and the game emphasizes the economic aspect. The player's task is to colonize the planet 3452C, commonly known as the eponymous Maia. The actual gameplay takes place on procedurally generated maps, not larger than two square kilometers each. The game features relatively complex mechanics. Thus, the player not only has to build underground structures ensuring effective work of the colony, but they also have to conduct mining works in order to gather valuable resources and extend the base. It is also crucial to cater to the needs of the society the player develops. These include having to employ people, provide them with food and adequate entertainment. Similar to the classic Dungeon Keeper, the player is allowed to switch to the first person view and take a walk around the colony.

You play as a former national park ranger named Randall Wayne, who's trying to find his missing wife and daughter. Going through the devastated streets of Seattle, underground sewers, and a military base, the protagonist needs to be wary not only of zombies, but also the soldiers hunting them, who open fire at anything that moves without hesitation. The game features an intriguing post-apocalyptic atmosphere and peculiar visuals. Although Deadlight utilizes the advanced Unreal Engine 3, you only see the character's shadows on the detailed animated backgrounds.

Lastly, DLC introduces an option of sharing items and currency with offline players.

In contrast to previous installments of the series, FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction is a product of a completely new developer – Team 6, responsible for a number of low-budget racing games and a FlatOut installment for Wii. The basic rules of the game haven’t changed. During the gameplay, we use almost 50 car models on more than 60 diverse race tracks, filled with heaps of destructible elements. Among the nine crazy game modes, we can find Destruction Derby arenas, known from the game's predecessors, as well as stuntman challenges. A completely new system of physics and destruction has been created for the game, while the races have become even faster and more dynamic. The graphical layer has also been redone, now featuring a visual style completely different from the game's predecessors.

The first expansion pack to the turn-based strategy game Elemental: War of Magic developed by Stardock (the creators of the Galactic Civilizations series). The player is invited into a fantasy world, where they assume the role of a ruler of one of the kingdoms, and is tasked with expanding their influence and building their own nation. Elemental: Fallen Enchantress expansion pack greatly modifies the gameplay mechanics by introducing a series of changes. One of the most important ones is a completely new combat system. Magic and spell casting were changed as well. In addition to that, the expansion introduces a new economy system that makes managing the economy more intuitive and clear. Elemental: Fallen Enchantress also introduces new content, including new missions, monsters, champions and previously unavailable locations. Among the latter there are both safe areas and ones controlled by the forces of evil.
