It was developed by the creators of World of Tanks - Wargaming, who bought the IP rights from the bankrupting Atari company. In terms of gameplay, the game is close to what the previous installments accustomed us to. Using turn-based mechanics you have to colonize planets, develop various technologies, and establish diplomatic relations with alien races – 13 of them in total (all of them appeared in previous games). In the game you get to visit 20 planetary systems and over a hundred stars. There are also nearly 100 unique technologies to discover and 24 buildings to construct. In comparison with the previous editions, Conquer the Stars features modern audiovisuals and slightly modified user interface.

A first-person perspective survival horror action game developed by Eyemobi studio in cooperation with Brian Bell, the man responsible for lighting in such movie hits like Riddick and The Ring 2. Phantasmal: City of Darkness takes place in a famous Chinese location - Kowloon Walled city - just before it was completely destroyed in the 90s in order to stop the criminal activity that filled the place. During the game player must face terrifying creatures that lurk in the darkness in a procedurally generated world. Each playthrough can be completely different. The key to victory is to sneak up behind the opponents and use in combat every resource we have available – from everyday objects to firearms. When fighting, one must remember that too much light or noise can lure more opponents.

A 2D survival horror focused on multiplayer gameplay, developed by independent studio C3SK and published by Devolver Digital. The game depicts a post-apocalyptic vision of the Earth where our planet has been plunged into darkness by an ancient evil that attacked without a warning, decimating human population. The title features a classic top-down perspective, and the core gameplay focuses on exploration of procedurally generated locations and fighting monsters inspired by the novels of H. P. Lovecraft. Much emphasis was put on the survival elements, requiring you to keep an eye on your character’s life functions, and collect useful items and weapons. What really makes Noct unique is the way it presents the world - since the game’s world is pitch black, the only way to see is the visualization provided by a thermal imaging satellite system.

A retro style two-dimensional beat'em up game with RPG elements, and a continuation to the cult-classic production for NES released in 1989. The action takes place 25 years after the events from the original title – Alex and Ryan, the protagonists of the previous game, have graduated River City High, but Slick – one of the gang bosses defeated in the past – begins to pose a threat again; you fight as one of eight available characters in order to stop him, and all the other criminal organizations, one more time. The fundamental mechanics featured in the original have not been changed in the slightest. The game offers more than 100 hand-drawn levels with open structure, allowing us to upgrade the character and the equipment the course of the game. The gameplay basically consists of smashing consecutive opponents' faces and each playable character represents a different fighting style. Another installment of the farming simulation game series from GIANTS software. Contrary to most of the major entries in the franchise, Farming Simulator 16 was created solely with the PS Vita handheld console and mobile devices in mind. In the game, we traditionally assume the role of farm owner, and our task is to turn his possessions into a true agricultural empire. Achieving this requires us to sow and harvest, and then invest the money we’ve earned into the farm’s development as well as new vehicles and devices. The title features over 50 fully licensed agricultural machines of various type that we can personally drive while working in the field. Compared to its predecessor, the game offers new sorts of crops, but the biggest novelty is the introduction of forests, along with a pretty big set of hardware for felling and processing trees.

Once more, the game was developed by the Yuke's studio, working under the aegis of 2K Games, which have been responsible for the series since 2012. However, unlike last year's installment, WWE 2K16 appeared only on consoles. Title features the widest, so far, range of more than 120 characters, among whom there are both present (male and female) wrestling celebrities as well as legends of the sport. Game traditionally provides a large set of updates and fixes. Rebuilt controls, new aiming system that enables us to aim our strikes at any part of opponent's body, and new kinds of props which we can use during combat, are the most notable ones. In addition to the usual MyCareer mode, in which we create our own character and lead him through subsequent stepping stones, the game features a come back of the 2K Showcase mode, in which we recreate the most iconic battles in the history of WWE.

An action game with numerous RPG elements. Similar to its predecessor, it is a spin-off title in the Dragon Quest franchise by Square Enix, and although it retains a similar atmosphere, it offers several new solutions. The plot of Dragon Quest Heroes II references the events of its predecessor. Despite the lack of any direct links to the core Dragon Quest productions, there are a few familiar faces to see here. As befits a hack and slash game, Dragon Quest Heroes II focuses on quick and spectacular combat. The player fights hordes of enemies who would pose no threat in a one-on-one fight but can be dangerous in larger numbers. Moreover, from time to time, the protagonist faces powerful bosses; to defeat them, it is necessary to use more advanced tactic. Although the game focuses on arcade hand-to-hand combat, it does not lack a complex plot and script. Dragon Quest Heroes II offers three-dimensional graphics which resemble Japanese manga and anime stylistics.

The player assumes the role of a hero being the only one capable of solving the dark mystery of the woods and giving them back their old casual lifestyle. Interestingly, the player is allowed to build their house, thus in-between subsequent missions they can spend time as a farmer for example. Overload focuses on the exploration of the unique locations, created according to the "deformed cube" scheme from the Descent series, searching for shortcuts, and looking for keys that unlock next levels of the compound. We will also face hordes of enemies and free the hibernated hostages. We will use a wide array of weapons during our adventures. Each element of our arsenal can be modified to increase its power. We will have to use a more tactical approach when fighting bosses. The game comes with an editor that allows us to create our own maps and missions. In case of emergency, we can use an axe to clear our path. We fight fire with a fire extinguisher and a sprayer. The title follows the events of the previous installments – the story is developed by cut-scenes in-between battles. Guilty Gear Xrd –Revelator- features 1 vs. 1 fights, which are conducted in a classic 2D perspective, while the backgrounds and characters are created in full 3D. A continuation to the well-received game The Red Solstice, created by the Ironward studio. Contrary to the original game though, Solstice Chronicles is a typical twin-stick shooter inspired by games such as Alienation or Helldivers. The player's task is to eliminate hordes of enemies, obtaining new weapons and developing the character. The story revolves around a mysterious virus that turns humans into bloodthirsty mutants. A handful of survivors have managed to escape from the Earth and find shelter on the surface of Mars, though many things suggest that the threat followed them. The player's goal is to obtain the medicine and stop the epidemic before it spreads on the entire Red Planet. Four character classes differing in their weapons and skills were included in the game. The player gains access to more powerful abilities when they reach higher character levels. The available weaponry includes rifles which can be acquired at any time, as well as special weapons. The so-called "brutal weapons" are significantly more powerful, but their use is greatly limited. The core of Solstice Chronicles: Missing in Action is the campaign, which can be completed solo, or in the split-screen co-op mode.

A grotesque strategy game from the developers responsible for such curious projects as Square Brawl and Clustertruck. Totally Accurate Battle Simulator allows the players to control an army of colored humanoids. We spend our money on infantry, archers, pikemen, or siege machines, such as ballistae and catapults. Each battle begins with a planning phase where we can set the formation and tactics employed by our forces, and then watch the results of these decisions in a three-dimensional environment. The physics engine implemented in the game is one of its highlights – the troops’ animations and ragdoll effects, as well as projectile trajectories and impacts are calculated on the fly, creating spectacular, or more often, funny situations. Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is characterized by its sterile visuals – angular character models and objects are coated with uniform, very simple textures, which emphasizes the absurdity of the game.

A representative of the third-person stealth game genre, created by the independent studio of Lince Works. The main character of the production is the titular Aragami - an assassin who has risen from the dead and has been endowed with supernatural abilities. The mysterious Yamiko is responsible for his resurrection and she desperately needs his aid to escape from the closely guarded fortress. Gameplay mechanics revolve around the characteristic patterns of similar productions, such as Tenchu or Dishonored. Zones visited during the various missions have an open-world character, which, combined with an extensive range of skills, allows the hero to perform tasks in many different ways. In Aragami we have to sneak in the shadows, teleport to selected locations, dispose of the bodies of murdered opponents, and even create clones of the protagonist. However, the hero clearly wasn't meant for direct confrontations and a group of opponents are able to take his life without much of a problem. The cartoonish visuals, which draw inspiration from the East Asian culture, are also a very distinctive feature.

Valiant Hears: The Great War is an original action-adventure game that takes place during the World War I. Among our heroes we will find a French captive, an American enlistee, a Belgian paramedic, an English pilot, and a German infantryman. Gameplay differs depending on which character we are currently controlling. We will have to solve riddles and puzzles, explore, and face some arcade elements. Even though the game's atmosphere and setting are a bit grim, Valiant Hears: The Great War tends to be a bit humorous. We will also find many stereotypes about the nationalities of our heroes in the game. Game's visuals are comic book-like, "hand drawn" to some degree.

An original action game set in a cyberpunk world and created by Dreadlocks - an independent, Czech studio. Dex mingles elements of classic platformers with role-playing mechanics; it was inspired by classic arcade titles, as well as the works of William Gibson. The game is set in Harbor Prime, where luxurious districts stand in contrast to the filth the poor live in. The player has to face a mysterious AI that has broken loose and wishes to make irreversible changes. The game is played on two planes, for the protagonist can switch between acting in the real world and in the cyberspace. When completing subsequent story missions, the player makes use of classic weapons, special abilities and useful gadgets. Dex offers melee combat as well, which resembles classic beat'em up productions. The visuals are a homage to the classic sci-fi platformers from the 1990s.

A sequel to the free MMORPG MapleStory created by Korean studio Nexon. The game has been developed along with its predecessor and is set in an earlier period, which resulted in many changes to the in-game world, both regarding the rebuilt locations and the appearance of enemies. The gameplay is based on that from the previous installment — it focuses mostly on exploring the fantasy world, completing various quests, developing your character, earning new equipment, and fighting your foes. Apart form the AI-controlled enemies, you can also fight other players in the PvP mode. The game differs from its predecessor mainly in terms of visuals — MapleStory 2 features 3D graphics and an isometric point of view.

Another installment of the popular strategy game series by Team 17 focusing on warring worms. Contrary to several of its three-dimensional predecessors, Worms: Revolution Extreme offers classical gameplay with action depicted from the side as teams of aggressive worms take their turns in attempt to eradicate the enemy team. The developers provided a rich arsenal of weapons, including firearms, rocket and grenade launchers, the iconic holy hand grenade, and the Super Sheep. These are joined by other tools such as a rope, a parachute, or a blowtorch. Worms: Revolution Extreme introduces new ways of eliminating enemies, such as telekinesis, water pistol, and Boggy-B. What’s more, we can also manipulate and destroy objects in the environment. For the first time in the history of the series, worms have been divided into classes, for instance: scientist, soldier, guard, and scout. Worms: Revolution is powered by a new graphics engine that generates pretty three-dimensional landscapes.

The first project by Giant Squids, an independent studio founded by Matt Nova – the artistic director of the extremely successful game called Journey, created for PlayStation consoles. Abzu is an interactive exploration production in which you reveal secrets of a lively underworld. The player assumes the role of a cat-like diver who delves into the ocean and meets schools of fish, groups of aquatic mammals, as well as some other truly majestic creatures and remnants of an ancient civilization. Abzu offers a fluid control system which enables you to perform underwater pirouettes, flips, and gives you a chance to ride sea creatures, such as a shark. Sometimes, getting to a place requires a skillful use of available abilities or solving a logic puzzle. Yet, Abzu puts a strong emphasis on its artistic value. Therefore, the game enchants players with a riot of colors, an abundance of diverse underwater life, and amazing special effects.

A spin-off to the series of action games with RPG elements, originally developed by Polish studio Techland. As the owner of the title, Deep Silver chose the Swedish Fatshark studio as the developer for the spin-off. They are known for multiplayer-oriented games such as War of the Roses and War of the Viking. As a result, the players received a third-person perspective action-adventure game, the story of which takes place in between the first and the second part of the series and connects them together. The main hero – Cliff Calo – decides to trace the origins of the zombie virus outbreak and document them. Together with his friends, Cliff sets out on an expedition that soon turns out to be nothing more than a constant fight for survival, as any contact with the living dead ends up in death. You can use a wide arsenal of inventive weapons, but the gameplay emphasizes stealth elements and silent elimination of the enemies. The game features distinctive colorful graphics that utilize cel-shading technology.

A sequel to the bestselling racing game that was a spin-off to the flagship series of racing games developed for Xbox consoles. The title was developed by the creators of the previous entry: Playground Games (Xbox One version) and by Sumo Digital (Xbox 360 version). The new installment takes place in Southern Europe where another Horizon festival takes place. The festival is filled with good music and variety of racing challenges. Similarly as its predecessor, the title offers a large, open world where hundreds of licensed cars await the player. Similarly as the first entry in the spin-off series, the game offers a driving model that is slightly simplified in comparison to Forza Motorsport – it focuses mostly on making the races impressively looking. For the first time in the series the developers implemented a dynamically changing weather system which adds some realism to the races. The developers also added the Drivatars system known from Forza Motorsport 5, enabling the virtual drivers to gain experience even if they don’t participate in the game.
