An independent beat'em up game, which casts the player in the role of a mad gorilla that is trying to escape from captivity. The player's task is to complete subsequent, procedurally-generated corridors, as well as to deal with hordes of enemies, both soldiers and guards. The game is played from a top-down view and the only thing the protagonist can rely on is the power of his own muscles. With his hands, the gorilla crushes the enemies, but can also grab and throw them. Certain elements of the environment can also be taken advantage of, such as doors that have been torn out - they can be used as a shield. The experience is complemented by a dynamic soundtrack, which changes its tone in accordance with what is currently happening on the screen. The developer decided to include a large portion of brutality in the game, as the enemies defeated leave lots of blood, staining the locations the player traverses. Ape Out delivers exclusively a single-player experience and is available only in digital distribution.

The game takes place on the streets with heavy traffic. All race tracks are generated procedurally. All we have to do is to drive as far as possible and beat the records set by other players. Highway Getaway offers over two hundred diversified missions. As we progress and achieve better results we will unlock new cars and gain access to new visual modifications, which we can buy for the in-game currency that we get while playing. How much money we make depends on our achievements. Driving at high speed and performing dangerous maneuvers increases our infamy levels, for which we are being paid by a TV station that produces a show about car pursuits. Highway Getaway features great visuals and highly detailed car models.

A car game where the players drive various off-road vehicles and take part in Offroad Masters competition, visiting various places around the globe – from deep forests and jungles, through deserts and beaches, to snow-covered mountains. Gravel offers four ways to play: Cross Country is based on free exploration and competition to reach check points before others; Wild Rush features races without any rules; Speed Cross is a competition taking place on reconstructions of real-life tracks; and finally Stadium Circuit, taking place on closed arenas filled with obstacles and ramps to jump. The game can be played both solo and with other players, and they can brag about their achievements through online rankings. Gravel is based on Unreal Engine 4 technology, meaning it offers high-quality visuals. Its driving model is a compromise between simulation and arcade, with a physics engine developed by Milestone making sure that the game is quite realistic and each car acts differently.

A team-based brawler from the creators of Rogue Legacy, which features old school stylistics. In Full Metal Furies we land in an alternative version of Athens. The city and its surroundings are terrorized by titans and other mythological beasts. The players play as the eponymous Furies, whose mission is to restore the order using modern means of defense, including all kinds of firearms. We observe the events from the isometric perspective as the characters keep walking to the right and eliminate all enemies encountered on the way. Full Metal Furies offers four playable heroines, making it possible for four players to cooperate – you can also play alone together with AI-controlled characters, while being able to freely switch between them. Many enemies are immune to specific types of attacks, thus forcing you to select appropriate weapons. The game also features a progression system and crafting mechanics which allow you to construct new items based on the schematics you find along the way.

Another installment of Everybody’s Golf, a series that accompanies various Sony consoles. Similarly to previous entries in the series, the new Everybody’s Golf is an arcade sports game for golf fans. Although the gameplay is much more accessible than in simulators, fully learning how to play it takes much time because the golf fields are controlled by realistic physics. Everybody’s Golf introduces several novelties in comparison to the previous entries. The first one is character development and customization. At first the player determines the look and clothes of their character and then they improve the character's abilities by completing specific tasks. Another important novelty are the fully open golf fields. The player can freely move, run or even drive through them in a special vehicle. In addition to single player mode, Everybody’s Golf for {PLAT} offers multiplayer modes. There are many gameplay modes available: competition, cooperation, and optional special tasks.

Might & Magic Showdown is a miniature wargame set in the Might & Magic universe. It was developed by Fun House, a part of the Ubisoft Montreal studio. Even though the game offers a single player campaign, it was implemented solely for training purposes. Quick, multiplayer PvP duels, set on boards stylized after the actual miniature wargmes, are the key element of the game. Players control a hero who has an array of special abilities at their disposal, which have their own cooldowns, and up to three monsters from the pool of available creatures. You cannot control those monster directly, you can only define their tactics for the battle. The more duels you win, the more heroes and creates will be available to you. One of the game's main assets is the possibility to personalize the figurines. You can paint even their smallest details, or use premade skins. Even though the game has all the characteristic elements known from the other Might & Magic games, its gameplay is visibly different than in the main installments of the series.

Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is a remastered version of the second game from the popular fighting game series, initially released in 1991. It was developed by Capcom and UDON Entertainment. The new edition has received a series of improvements and tweaks. There are two completely new playable characters available: Evil Ryu and Violent Ken. Each of the available fighters has their own story and set of moves, attacks, and combos. The game's visuals were also improved. All textures are now in high resolution, but we can still switch back to the retro-stylized pixel-art visuals if we want to. Though some things were changed and improved, the core of gameplay remains the same. The Versus mode allows us to fight with other players or against A.I. Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers also offers a special game mode where two players face the same A.I. controlled enemy.

Action in Beautiful Desolation is presented from an isometric point of view. Gameplay focuses on the exploration of the game's world inhabited by various factions, tribes, and all kinds of fauna. Solving riddles also plays an important role in the game. In order to solve them, the players will have to look for clues. They can find them by talking with NPCs or closely observing the environment. The game features high quality visuals created with the help of photogrammetry technology.

Mechanics-wise, the production resembles a first-person shooter set in cyberspace. Every server we break into is a visually different location, densely filled with various enemies and security measures. For our successes, we are awarded credits that can be spent on special content packs with equipment: from disposable items, through server mods and Praxis Kits, to new kinds of weapons. Players who would like to develop their character faster can make use of the built-in microtransaction system. Visually, the game offers an unusual style since almost all elements of the environment are composed of polygons.

Car development system is connected to the ability to unlock new characters, tracks and gameplay features like new game modes. Cars 3: Driven to Win features high quality three-dimensional graphics that faithfully recreate the movie.

After the three previous installments, which were average games at best, the developer was given more time to create this new follow-up. Thanks to that, NBA Live 18 brings a few interesting novelties. Above all, the game introduces The One mode - the player creates their own character and takes part in matches in The Streets mode and The League component (the latter is the NBA league). The player works on the skills of their character while experiencing the game, acquires new outfits and tattoos. Apart from that, 12 teams from the WNBA league (women's NBA) were featured, such as L.A. Sparks, Minnesota Lynx or New York Liberty. When it comes to gameplay, the creators prepared more intuitive controls, as well as hundreds of new moves the particular basketball players are popular for. The game offers both single player and multiplayer (competitive and co-op) modes. One can experience the Ultimate Team, and the Takedown modes, but also play friendly matches.

Yet another simulation game developed by TML-Studios. The game has been created in cooperation with FlixBus - one of the largest intercity coach operators in Germany. Fernbus Simulator allows the players to assume the role of a bus driver shuttling between several metropolises that include Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Dortmund. Apart from driving the vehicle, the player has to tend to a number of other things, such as selling tickets. While driving a bus, one has to stay focused - developers have prepared over 20 thousand kilometers of roads that might be quite busy - which might result in an accident, if caution is not exercised. Additionally, driving conditions are affected by the changing weather conditions, the day and night cycle, and changing seasons of the year. Even though the visuals are not stunning, the well-modelled bus cockpits deserve a praise - an additional treat for the players lies in the functionalities such as the possibility to make announcements to the passengers that are currently on the bus.

In Stories Untold you play as a person sitting in front of a computer, and your task is to acquaint yourself with a series of eerie recordings. In time, the protagonist immerses themselves in the stories so much that they begin to spot inexplicable things in the nooks of the shabby rooms. The game features a first-person view and you are free to look around your surroundings. The stories take place in varied locations, such as a bedroom or a radio station, all of which are dimply lit to intensify the scary mood. Additionally, the game splendidly captures the atmosphere of the 1980s, in no small part thanks to the unique soundtrack.

Another stand-alone expansion pack for Emergency 5 - a 2014's simulation/strategy game by Sixteen Tons Entertainment. The expansion is a both improved and expanded version of the base game. In Emergency 2017, the player gets in charge of a rescue team comprised of police units, firefighters, paramedics and technicians. The player's task is to face the effects of various accidents, catastrophes, and natural disasters. Compared to the previous edition, the creators introduced plenty of improvements and upgrades to the mechanics and eliminated the most common issues. The largest novelty, however, is a completely new story campaign set in modern times, as well as a mini-campaign situated in the Middle Ages, a period where the so-called witch hunts took place. Apart from that, the expansion brings a new K9 unit - a dog capable of tracking those trapped under the debris or locating explosives.

An unusual turn-based horror strategy game developed by Kitfox Games. The action of The Shrouded Isle takes place in a remote town on an island that is cut off from the world. We assume the role of its mayor, and our task is to ensure the local population’s prosperity. The problem is that the town was built upon the resting place of some ancient gods’ that, if unsatisfied, can awaken and devour everything in their way. The primary responsibilities of the player are similar to those from classical economy simulation games. While playing, we have to balance the four essential town development factors. The gameplay is turn-based, though, corresponding to subsequent seasons. In each of them, we have to assign tasks to the townsfolk and to sacrifice one town resident in order to postpone the awakening of the gods. The game features unusual stylized 2D graphics that resort mainly to shades of yellow and green.

As you progress, the arsenal of your weapons becomes more and more diverse – starting with melee weapons and ending with different kinds of firearms, like shotguns and rifles. The perk system enables the player to choose from many special abilities that will be appropriate for their adapted play style. Even though local fauna may pose mortal danger, the elimination of other players – up to 42 – is the backbone of the game. Following Battle Royale rules, the player who outlasts the others wins the match.

In Sundered, the player assumes the role of a wanderer who travels through a ruined, post-apocalyptic world. The story of the game is strongly connected to its mechanics, as the price of the progress of the protagonist is paid with his humanity – what powers the player decides to wield, will have impact on the ending of the game. The protagonist is traveling mostly through randomly generated cave complexes and underground tunnels. On his paths he encounters various enemies, including powerful bosses, defeating which requires using thoughtful tactics. As the player progresses through the game, he obtains better equipment and ancient artifacts that enables him to develop abilities. This unlocks access to new locations, even stronger enemies and better items. Sundered has two-dimensional, hand drawn graphics the style of which is similar to games like Jotun and The Banner Saga.

Gameplay featuring a side-view focuses on exploration of the mysterious environment. Locations introduce numerous traps, obstacles, and diverse environmental puzzles. During gameplay, Black gets his hands on a designator – a tool which gives him control over workers, machines, and other friendly beings. The title utilizes 2.5D visuals that do not feature too many vivid colors, which makes the title stand out.

A multiplayer action game developed by Pixel Federation. The players take part in space battles using ships built from a hodgepodge of parts found on space junkyards. The parameters and battle role of the individual ships is determined by the type of the ship (from a maneuverable frigate to a heavy battleship) and the chosen armament. Our ships can carry various weaponry, including rockets, lasers, or Gauss cannons. Additionally, we can also make use of useful modules, enabling us to immobilize an enemy or activate a defensive shield. The game revolves around team on team clashes – each match sees intense combat that involves locating our enemies and fighting on long distances – at the same time, the arenas contain numerous objects and space debris forcing us to maneuver or maintain a good heading. Aside from that, we are also given access to a special practice mode. Galactic Junk League is characterized by decent 3D graphics, while the game itself is distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

Aside from that, Age of Empires II HD: Rise of the Rajas brings a completely new type of terrain (mangrove forests), five new random, special, and historical maps, improved unit AI and new objects for the in-game editor. The DLC also incorporates a set of fixes that were prepared as part of the expansion, and then released as a free upgrade for the owners of the core game. The list of fixes includes improved network code and the option to resume interrupted matches.

Surgeon Simulator: Experience Reality is characterized by well-made cartoonish graphics, thanks to which the sights, such as an opened ribcage or an exposed brain, don’t sicken the players.

Our objective is, of course, reaching the finish line before others, though we can achieve this either in classic, fair-play way or resort to power-ups we find on the track, which can be combined for better effect. Game offers a strictly arcade driving model, split-screen mode for four players and suiting three-dimensional visuals.

Skirmish contains single battles for up to four players; Raid is a multiplayer mode focused on stealing valuable objects; War Supply is a strategy mode in which the player takes control of mines and gathers items; Boss Fight is a modified campaign focused on fighting bosses (alone or with other players). Similarly to the console and PC installments of the series, the title features high quality graphics. However, in this game the action is presented by using isometric perspective.

In response to that recent activity of the extremists, who also managed to take control of a large territory, an international organization is established with the aim of counteracting this threat. In Tom Clancy’s ShadowBreak the player assumes the role of a leader of such unit and takes part in PvP duels of two snipers, both aided by their teammates. Gameplay in Tom Clancy’s ShadowBreak comes down to eliminating targets over a large distance in first-person view. Since you cannot change your position while playing, you must rely on your squad to follow your orders. You can point targets for them as well as move them around locations, all the while protecting them from enemy fire. As you progress, you unlock better and better gear for you squad. You can also recruit new soldiers.

An old school mix of platformer and metroidvania elements, created by independent studio of Long Hat House. Dandara takes us on adventure in a fantasy world where basic laws of physics, such as gravity don’t apply. The titular heroine is awoken to restore the order of old. We observe the world from side view, and the gameplay is similar to other titles from the genre, focusing on exploration, avoiding countless traps and threats, and gathering equipment and special powers that give us access to new locations. Traveling is made more appealing thanks to the unusual movement system; our heroine can launch herself forward on short distances, stick to all surfaces and move in any direction. The mechanics find use in combat as well, as we attack enemies by shooting various projectiles at them.

A mobile MOBA production by Fast Forward Studios. You play as a chosen character belonging to the so-called Order of Heroes, whose task is to fight to the death in special arenas. There are many potential protagonists to choose from and they vary in terms of weapons and special abilities. The game focuses on seven-minutes-long multiplayer battles, in which you compete against players from all over the world. The more battles you win, the more new abilities you can unlock, allowing you to choose a specialization for your character. You can also develop you chosen hero by collecting more powerful equipment, while the expansive crafting system allows you to create new items. Apart from the PvP mode (1-vs-1 and 3-vs-3 battles), Planet of Heroes also features a single player campaign, which focuses on varied tasks: exploring dungeons, fighting off waves of enemies, defending yourself against your foes' attacks, and classic battles with AI opponents. The game features colorful cartoonish visuals, based on the Pixar animation style.

In Peach Beach Splash, the female ninja adepts take part in a water gun tournament – the victorious team will have its single wish granted. The players are given a wide arsenal consisting of ten types of weapons, each equipped with two firing modes that can be switched at will. When it comes to the roster, we are offered thirty characters, each equipped with three unique abilities and capable of both offensive and defensive actions. Aside from a single player campaign (the story is delivered through animated cut-scenes and visual novel segments), the game offers a number of multiplayer modes, including 5v5 battles or co-op survival modes. The game sports colorful, manga-stylized graphics.

Serious Sam's Bogus Detour is a spin-off of the Serious Sam series developed by Crackshell in cooperation with Croteam. Once again we play as the fearless Sam who has to face hordes of enemies. Gameplay is based on the series' classic scheme. We fight with numerous enemies and use against them guns like pistols, machine rifles, swivel guns, and flamethrowers. The more monsters we slay, the more experience points we get to level up and progress our hero. Unlike in the 'big' Serious Sam games, action in Bogus Detour is presented from a top-down perspective. The game offers a campaign that can be played alone or with up to three more players. Additionally, Bogus Detour offers a twelve player Survival Mode, Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch. The game features simple, old school visuals.

Another installment of the arcade sports game series devoted to baseball. It was developed by Major League Baseball Advanced Media. Similarly to its predecessors, in the game, we lead one of thirty clubs of the American MLB league to take part in the 2017’s baseball league games. Given the full MLB license, there are actual teams and thirty existing sports arenas. Moreover, we can also play matches with classic rosters from previous seasons. The production emphasizes the arcade aspect, thanks to which the gameplay should be approachable even for beginners. R.B.I. Baseball 17 allows the players to take part in single matches and face both the artificial intelligence and other people. The title also attracts with its decent graphics that look equally good both on TV screens and small displays of mobile devices.

Mighty Gunvolt Burst is a sequel to the 2014 arcade game Mighty Gunvolt that was released on Nintendo 3DS. Both games were developed by Inti Creates, 2D action games specialists. We play as the titular Gunvolt, a hero who can control lightning and uses that ability in his fight against evil. He is aided by the ghost of a girl name Joule who lives inside our protagonist, providing him protection in critical situations. Mighty Gunvolt Burst is a 2D side-scrolling action game with platformer elements similar to the fan-favorite Mega Man series. Gameplay focuses on exploring more and more locations, jumping on platforms, and fighting with many enemies. In comparison to the series' previous installment, the game comes with some visible improvements, like new collectibles, character progression system, or a special Final Blow that gives us more experience points when we use it to finish our enemy off.

A tactical top-down shooter, and at the same time a debut production from Mighty Morgan. The main protagonists – John Rimes and Rick Jones – are police operatives specializing in high-risk operations, such as rescuing hostages and infiltrating gang hideouts. As the enemies need only 2-3 shots to kill the main protagonist, the players have to exercise caution and react quickly. What makes it all the more difficult is the fact that the main protagonists have to stick to police procedures, which prioritize apprehending the suspects without resorting to violence. Sometimes, however, the situation leaves you no choice. The gameplay is even more thrilling thanks to the line-of-sight system – our protagonists cannot see what is behind closed doors until they open them. Apart from the single player, where players preferring more solitary gaming experience have to rely on an AI partner, Police Stories offers the players a chance to join their forces in finishing all of the available missions in a co-op mode. The game also features two-dimensional pixel art visuals.

An MMORPG game set in a fantasy world developed by Interpid Studios. Ashes of Creation takes us to a fantasy land that experienced a cataclysm a long time ago. Now there are only remains of the civilization, and when the members of the sentient species regained rule over the land, they also woke up an old threat. We create our own character, choosing one of eight races with different specializations. Gameplay isn’t much different from what we can see in other games from the genre, though we can get our own land to build a house and take one of the many available jobs. One noteworthy feature is a vast and varied world, which is shaped by players’ actions alongside the plot.

The game was developed by Gust - a studio popular mainly for the Atelier series, which encompasses several installments. The game is set in contemporary Japan. Hinako, the protagonist, is an ordinary girl who attends high-school, but one day she is taken to an alternative dimension inhabited by dangerous monsters. In that realm, she discovers a mysterious power in herself, which allows her to transform into a magic warrior. Along with her friends, possessing similar abilities, she fights the threats coming from the other reality.

The game was developed by one of the best developers in this genre, GIANTS Software, and it offers all features that are available in the original game, including all the add-ons, but it also has a few new things. The game's biggest attraction is that the game is set in South America. With this setting come new types of plants (sugar cane), cows and machines that weren't available before. The developers cooperated with such companies as CASE IH Austoft, Stara, Double TT, Bizon and Gessner Industries and they introduced, e.g. CASE IH A8800 MR harvester to the game. The total number of all the machines available in the game is more than 270 and they come from 80 different companies. Farming Simulator 17: Platinum Edition is sold as a standalone add-on or as Platinum Expansion for all owners of the original game. All players that own the Season Pass can get the new content for free.

Compilation of independent games that is a tribute to the times of 8-bit consoles. UFO 50 is a pack of fifty items - from classic platformers, through shoot 'em ups to RPG titles. Each project is a full-fledged production, combining inspirations from the past with new ideas and a contemporary way of designing. Although the individual games are slightly smaller than the commercial hits released in the 1980s, they still offer over 100 hours of fun.
