They can also wear many accessories, such as scarves and collars. You have to remember, however, that the pets don't live forever and you have to take care of their basic needs, such as hunger and the need to relieve themselves. Dogs and cats in particular require quite a lot of entertainment, care, and training. The Sims 2: Pets includes a reward and punishment system, which allows you to better train your animal companion — otherwise, you risk mischief and collateral damage. Curiously, the well-cared-for pets can become show-business stars, which earns you a monthly reward.

In Death Road to Canada the player's task is to travel the eponymous route from Florida to the city of Ontario in Canada and to survive the hordes of zombies attacking us along the way. In the game we control a team of up to five characters (human or animal), each of which has its own unique virtues and vices. Therefore, apart from having to search for other survivors, constantly gather supplies, and eliminate subsequent hosts of living dead, an extremely important element of the game is ensuring that our group members won't quarrel with each other. Gameplay is undoubtedly more attractive due to the fact that almost all of its elements are randomly generated, so each time we start the game a different story awaits us. The game features old-fashioned pixel graphics, reminiscent of the classic arcade hits.

A roguelike RPG based on incredibly complex mechanics and created by My Next Games - an independent Polish developer. The player takes on the role of an adventurer who explores both mysterious and dangerous areas of the place known as the Archives. The player either fights the enemies or sneaks pass them, gathering loot and developing their character along the way. Almost every action of the player affects their character's personality and skills. For instance, drinking beer regularly leads to alcohol addiction; grabbing each and every coin we stumble upon can result in catching gold fever. Other mechanics display a similar level of complexity. Wounds fall into different categories, and each sickness needs to be cured by different means. Healing items also have different forms and quality, for example, using the worst kind of bandages can cause an infection. When it comes to combat, the game combines typical mechanics of turn-based titles with hack-and-slash elements. The Shadowborn is a two-dimensional game played from a top-down view.

The islands were transported to an alternative reality, and a member of an American research program is sent to discover what happened to them. This requires the player to gather supplies and resources. The former enables the player to maintain good health and the latter enables them to construct buildings and equipment by using a simple crafting system. The protagonist has to face many dangers, including wild animals, undead and mutants. The battles are played in real time, utilizing an action-based combat system. The dynamic day and night cycle makes survival harder. The game also features multiplayer mode, in which the players can face each other on special arenas.
