A logic game inspired by Chromatron and Aargon. Archaica: The Path Of Light is the debut production of TwoMammoths, a Polish development studio. The title puts an incredibly responsible task in the player’s hands: to save the humanity from extinction. To achieve this, we have to activate special defense mechanisms by leading a beam of light through the forgotten path of the ancients. In practice, it means operating mirrors so that they reflect light into magic crystals that provide energy to machines. This task is made difficult by numerous obstacles such as stone blocks that we have to move or gates that need to be opened. The game is further enriched with secrets that reveal some details about the story. We uncover them by directing a beam of light at obelisks marked with hieroglyphs. The single player campaign offers five areas divided into several levels. We gain access to them from the world map, and the stages we’ve completed can be replayed. Archaica: The Path Of Light features colorful 3D graphics and diverse locations.

Spellforce 2: Demons Of The Past is another standalone expansion to Spellforce 2 – a successful RPG/RTS hybrid, released in 2006. Developed by Mind Over Matter, the expansion continues the threads started in two previous add-ons. The famous Shaikan hero, strives to save the endangered land throughout more than 50 missions set in five locations, on which he or she will face many dangers and new enemies led by a demon called Zazhut. Its only aim is to destroy the whole world of Eo. Because over eight years have passed since the release of the core game, the developers didn’t stop on making new locations and coming up with a new story. The graphics were overhauled, thanks to which the Spellforce universe looks better than ever. Also, a new game mode was added to the, already vastly expanded by the Faith in Destiny expansion, multiplayer mode – namely Survival.

When the evil Baron Whitebeard starts to kidnap entire flocks of birds to force them into obedience by means of hypnosis, the protagonist has to uncover the true intentions of the villain and find a way to thwart his plans. Gameplay-wise, Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet! is a classical adventure game that bases on exploration, conversations, gathering items, and puzzle solving. However, the developer has also put an emphasis on an adequate dose of humor and a visual style that brings the old-school adventure games of the 90s to mind.

Again, we play as the assassin of the empress, Daud, who departs for the lair of a witch by the name of Delilah in order to prevent her from carrying out a ritual that would allow for his final condemnation. To face the antagonist, and the coven she is the leader of, Daud has to explore the unknown districts of Dunwall and ally himself with the local gangs - Dead Eels and Hatters. The Brigmore Witches does not bring any significant changes to the gameplay, during which the player makes use of the powers brought in by the first expansion - Void Gaze, Blink, and Summon Assassin. The players can transfer their characters from the first expansion, keeping their previously acquired skills and weapons.

The protagonist is the eponymous Cactus, a police android whose task is to reclaim an interstellar frigate called Genki Star from rebelling robots. The gameplay of Assault Android Cactus is focused on fighting hordes of enemies. There are eight playable characters at our disposal, each different mainly in terms of weaponry. Our actions are rated on an ongoing basis by a special system, scoring many points requires us to combine attacks into spectacular combos. Apart from single player, the production offers a multiplayer co-op mode for up to four players. The game is powered by the Unity engine, thanks to which the graphics are relatively high-quality. The fun is accompanied by music composed by Jeff Van Dyck.

The first official expansion for the remastered edition of the cult-classic strategy game – Age of Empires II: HD Edition, developed by Hidden Path Entertainment. The expansion is a commercial version of Forgotten Empires, a fan-made modification, and was developed as a joint effort between SkyBox Labs Vancouver and the authors of the modification. The add-on takes us to Southern Europe, introducing four new medieval campaigns, each dedicated to a different historical house (Alaric, Sforza, Bari, and Dracula). Aside from that, we are introduced to five new civilizations (Italian, Indian, Slavic, Hungarian, and Inca), along with unique troops, buildings, and techs. When it comes to mechanics, the add-on offers four times bigger maps than the core game, and introduces a number of fixes to balance and enemy AI. Multiplayer enthusiasts are treated with new game modes, such as Treaty or Capture the Relic.

By using a multi-functional laser he can tear the environment into atoms that are then used as a material for building the factory. Before starting the construction, the player will spend much time on digging tunnels in search for valuable soup ingredients. During these journeys the player must face dangers like poisonous clouds and carnivorous plants. He must also repel the attacks of powerful beasts that both threaten the construction and at the same time are great soup ingredients. As the business improves, more things can be automated by constructing buildings, machines and robots. Nom Nom Galaxy offers a single player mode and a cooperation mode for up to four players.

Funny platformer with RPG elements. An ordinary boy unwittingly moves from an RPG session straight into a dungeon straight from fantasy games. The hero has to face powerful enemies lurking in the underworld. The production resembles such hits as Castlevania. However, its characteristic feature is a huge portion of good humour. Interestingly, Unepic is available in the Polish language version.
