The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt lacks a main storyline driving the gameplay. The action takes place in an extensive, open-world environment recreating a large part of the Caribbean. The player controls a captain of a pirate ship, whose aim is to gain fame and riches at sea. The game consists of completing subsequent missions that focus mainly on combat and exploration. The player plunders cargo ships, pirate bases, forts, and harbors. Between the missions, the player can make improvements to their fleet, choosing from sixteen diversified classes of ships, upgraded alongside their progress in the game. In-game sailing features realistic mechanics, making it a great asset to the game - this element was based on the personal experiences of the creator, who is an avid sailor himself. The game has offers extended online features as well, allowing the players to create their own pirate clans.

A mobile card game created by Mathew Inman as an adaption of a popular board game of the same name. Exploding Kittens is unlike anything in its genre and has been developed purely with a group of players sitting at a single board in mind. Rules are incredibly simple: during each turn the players randomly select one card, and the one to draw the eponymous volatile furball is out of the game. All other cards are used to avoid the explosive animal or preventing others from achieving the same objective. We can find among them e.g. passing turn, looking at top threes cards of the deck or defusing the kitty and returning it into the deck in way that other players won’t know where it is.

A tactical science-fiction role-playing game developed by Quatro Delta in cooperation with the team at Re-Logic, the creators of Terraria. The game puts the player in control of a group of mercenaries who get trapped in a different galaxy while searching for new technologies, as ordered by their boss. The player's task is to ensure their survival and find a safe way for them to go back home. The game gives the player total freedom in terms of exploration - they can fly a spaceship and visit any planet encountered. The only limitation here is our team's level of development. The gameplay consists largely of real-time battles, where the player gives orders to the entire team or its individual members. The game features both single player and multiplayer modes. In the latter, a maximum of four players can take part simultaneously. The game features old-school visuals that deliberately expose pixels, as the very title of the game announces.

The game was created by Kronos Digital Entertainment, under the auspices of Square Enix - the owner of the franchise. Contrary to its predecessors, Fear Effect Sedna is a tactical action game played from an isometric view and inspired by Shadowrun Returns - a role-playing game. The action takes place in a cyberpunk world featuring fantasy elements. This time, the characters from the previous installments explore mysterious locations and underground facilities of the frosty Greenland. During the story campaign, the player commands a team comprising up to five mercenaries, each having their own unique skills and specializations. The game offers a real-time combat system, but thanks to the implementation of active pause, the player is allowed to take their time when giving orders to individual units. Occasionally, the player is also obliged to solve puzzles. The third installment in the Fear Effect series offers old-school, cel-shaded graphics as usual.

An extensive DLC for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 - a third-person hack and slash game. The expansion enriches the plot of the core game with a new thread. Interestingly, the Revelations DLC puts the player in the shoes of a different character, which is the main feature here. The player assumes the role of Alucard - a vampire son of Count Dracula, known under the name Trevor Belmont before turning into a bloodsucker. Casting the player in the role of a different character made it possible to view the story of the base game from a slightly different angle. Also, the player goes through the story fragments Dracula was not directly involved in. The new minor story-driven campaign is based on the mechanics of the core game to a great degree. However, both the powers and Alucard's equipment are different from those Dracula had at his disposal. Thus the Revelations DLC brings a refreshment to the successful formula of the base game. As a result, the experience was significantly diversified and given a fresh feel.

The fifth installment in a series of racing games initiated in 2010 and devoted to rallying. Despite entrusting a completely new crew with the task of creating this game, the mechanics haven't changed significantly since previous installments - WRC 5 was developed by Kylotonn Games, the creators of such games as Bet on Soldier or Hunter's Trophy. The player's goal is to complete subsequent career events by taking part in competitions such as WRC, WRC 2 or WRC Junior, for example. The creators obtained the World Rally Championship licenses, allowing real-life teams, drivers and co-drivers to appear in the game. The game offers new, more realistic driving physics, as well as carefully recreated rally stages from 14 countries. WRC 5 is the first installment in the series to be released for eighth-gen consoles, which resulted mainly in a visible increase in the quality of the visuals, as well as implementation of changing weather conditions.

Developed by Roll7 studio, OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood is a continuation of a 2D retro platform game, which has been published in 2014 for the most popular consoles on the market. In the game, an amiable skater known from the previous installment visits entirely new places that, this time around, are associated with the movie industry. The gameplay mechanics have not changed much since the first installment, as they build on traversing consecutive locations on a skateboard and performing breakneck tricks and evolutions. On their way, the players are bound to encounter multiple obstacles such as quarter pipes, hills, etc. - one's objective is to get the best score possible for performing the tricks. For the game, the developers have designed five entirely new levels based on real-life locations associated with the movie industry. The pool of available tricks has been expanded, while the combo system has been significantly improved. The game features much more colorful visuals that retained their 16-bit style.

The game takes place in the titular Staglands, a harsh, Transylvanian land with almost nonexistent technological advancement. When he tries to leave the mortal plane, his followers imprison him and from now on, he is forced to rely on a fanatic priest and a group of unworthy acolytes. During our adventures, we control a group of 5 heroes whose strength and effectiveness is based on the combination of equipment and over hundred different skills and abilities. Serpent in the Staglands has a real-time combat system with an active pause. A peculiar real-time strategy focusing on multiplayer gameplay. In BOID, the players assume the roles of primitive organisms that need to develop their abilities through evolution in order to eliminate their rivals. There are eight classes at to players’ disposal, with strong and weak sides working in a “rock-paper-scissors” system. Among them, we can find units attacking their enemy with poison, exploding on contact with an enemy, or immobilizing and devouring their victims. Some of them have more speed and less health, while others are more durable, but lacking in mobility. The key to success lies in skillful employment of these traits. BOID focuses on dynamic encounters that can last from 2 to 20 minutes. A typical match includes unit deployment, assuming an adequate strategy, and applying countermeasures to enemy actions. Additionally, during the gameplay we can use defensive structures placed around the map. BOID is characterized by minimalistic visuals, enriched with hand-drawn backgrounds and colorful lighting effects.

A mobile edition of Minecraft – the cult sandbox game from Swedish company Mojang AB, which spawned millions of fans worldwide over several years since its beta release, becoming a phenomenon of modern day pop-culture. Overall the gameplay mechanics featured in Minecraft: Pocket Edition are no different than in other versions. You are taken into a procedurally generated 3D world made of voxels, observed from first-person perspective, and do what you please – from exploration in search for resources through fending off monsters to building more or less advanced constructions out of small cubic blocks. In terms of content, the Pocket Edition initially lagged behind the original Mineraft, but as it received new updates it grew and grew, and now even offers elements unavailable anywhere else. The main differences that remain are: the controls, adjusted to mobile devices, and visuals, which seem to be smoother and more colorful in this edition.

Racing, Cars, Singleplayer, Free-to-play.

A spin-off to the bestselling racing game series, Need for Speed. The game was developed by Firemonkeys - an Australian studio cooperating with Electronic Arts. It was created exclusively for mobile devices. Ken Block, a popular racing driver formerly associated mainly with the DiRT series, took part in the production of the game as well. The story pays tribute to one of the franchise's most iconic installments, Need for Speed: Underground, focusing entirely on illegal street races. The player is taken to the fictional city of Blackridge, controlled by five street-level gangs. The player's task is to defeat subsequent opponents in a series of racing challenges, which come in several variants. As usual, the players receive a massive number of licensed cars - divided into five classes here, each having their own garage, performance and visual upgrade counterparts. Although the game is free-to-play, the player's car runs out of fuel relatively fast, which is the main limitation the game brings.
