Called in by the Lord Protector, fearless heroes and adventurers arrive to face the evil beings. The gameplay focuses on cooperation of five players assembled into a party that traverses dungeons filled with different dangers. The mechanics combine elements of MMOs and action RPGs and are based on the rules of the fourth edition of Dungeons & Dragons. Neverwinter stands out with its simplicity-driven editor tools allowing for creation of numerous new adventures.

The title's visuals are powered by the Quake III engine. The production features an orchestrated soundtrack composed by Michael Giacchino who is known for such movie hits as Star Trek and Lost.

The Isle Development Team enabled the player to control creatures like Austroraptor, Carnotaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Gallimimus, Utahraptor, Acrocanthosaurus and Allosaurus. The main and only objective of the game is to survive on an island the size of more than a dozen of square kilometers. Depending on the selected creature, the player must hunt for smaller dinosaurs, hide in bushes from predators etc. In addition to getting food, one must also remember to drink water that might not be easy to find. During the game the player can join other users on the server, create herds and set up ambushes for other beasts. It is also possible to create nests and raise offspring – player’s friends can assume their role. The Isle features high quality three-dimensional graphics. The dinosaurs are well recreated and the island features varied areas.

During the adventure, the protagonist discovers details concerning his father, learns of family members he never knew existed, and faces his own nightmares – he is certain that there is a curse on his family, and that eventually he will go insane, just as his predecessors. In Black Mirror, the player travels through depressing locations, chat with NPCs, and solves more or less complicated puzzles – these are similar to those in classic point-n-click adventures. The visions and nightmarish hallucinations play a crucial role in the game – once the hero experiences them, he may learn more about his family house’s past. The amazing visuals feature faint colours which intensify the gloomy atmosphere.

The third installment in the first-person shooter cycle that focuses heavily on faithful recreation of the modern battlefield. The action of Arma III is set in the near future, where a conflict in the Middle East has greatly weakened NATO forces. A small island in the middle of the Mediterranean is of key importance to the stability of this part of the world, and it is there that the events of the story-driven single player campaign take place. The production of the Czech studio - Bohemia Interactive – stands out due to the extremely thorough and realistic re-enactments of operations of actual military assets, including a variety of vehicles. A well-developed mode for online multiplayer skirmishes is one of the game’s greatest strengths. After World of Tanks and World of Warplanes, Wargaming.net (the company also known for strategy games like Massive Assault, Galactic Assault, and Order of War) brings us yet another MMO. Similarly to its predecessors, the game allows us to participate in the various armed conflicts of the twentieth-century; this time, commanding our own warship. The authors reproduced an impressive number of actual vessels with great attention to detail, taking into account not only their appearance but also firepower and numerous technical parameters. Furthermore, in order to diversify the gameplay, the creators introduced an option that enables ship modifications, adding a strategic aspect to the game. The mechanics focus around proven patterns, typical of online games and aimed primarily at competition and cooperation between players in one of several game modes available. It’s also possible to set up clans and player rankings. The in-game economy system is shared between all games in the series.

An action game based on the popular comic series published by Marvel Comics. The game was developed by High Moon, studio known mostly for its Transformers games. The story of Deadpool: The Video Game focuses mostly on the antics of the sarcastic protagonist. The mercenary is trying to have his revenge on Mr. Sinister who caused Deadpool to fail in completing one of his contracts. In order to complete his objective, Deadpool joins forces with X-Men and travels with them to Genosha Island where the villain is building an army. The gameplay features dynamic hack’n’slash action focusing on delivering effective combos. The developers had ambitions to show the distinctive humor typical for the comic iteration. The character frequently talks directly to the player, commenting on his actions or giving instructions on how to deal with enemies.

A stand-alone version of collective card game (CCG) that debuted in the bestselling RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, by CD Project RED, and quickly became acknowledged as one of the best minigames in history. In Gwent: The Witcher Card Game players compete against each other with progressively collected decks of cards from five different factions. As in most CCG, the gameplay is turn-based, but quite unusually, the player’s objective is to gather more attack points than opponent. Cards are placed in three different rows, respectively for melee soldier, ranged units and siege machines like catapults. Our army’s strength can be both increased and decreased with special cards, unique skills of commanders or weather effects. Aside from complex multiplayer mode, the game also offers an episodic story campaign.
