Puzzle, Experimental/artistic, Comics, Noir, Singleplayer.
A prequel to the first Framed, an indie puccle game developed by Australian studio Loveshack Entertainment. The game once again relies on the setting of hardboiled novels, only this time set in Asia, where the protagonist has been framed for a crime he did not commit. He has no choice, but to clear his name before he gets caught by real criminals or the police. Framed 2 employs comics panel-based narrative, constructed in a way that will allow the protagonist to get out of trouble. Finding the correct solution might often be a true challenge – before we get it, we will see a few other versions of the story, each ending tragically for our hero. All of this is presented with interesting, comic book-like visuals inspired by the noir convention.

The players are sent to a futuristic city whose all public service duties are performed by special utility robots. We assume the role of an experienced liquidator that has to cull the robot population and regain control over the metropolis. Robo Recall sees us engage in spectacular combat against numerous opponents. Unfortunately, we cannot move on our own, and have to rely on a teleportation system that allows us to change our location to any available in the nearest vicinity. The game contains a complex combat system, an extensive arsenal, and a large set of available weapon modifications. Moreover, we are given high-quality three-dimensional visuals, as well as a spectacular physics system that sees the robots react dynamically to hits and interact with the environment. An FPP action game with stealth elements, developed by indie studio The Outsiders. The game is set in the alternative Middle Ages, where Scandinavia is inhabited not only by Vikings, but also by a forgotten race of sapient beasts. You play as one such creature, observing how it grows up into a ferocious predator. At first, Project Wight seems like a stealth game, as the beast is weak and cannot fight, so it has to sneak past enemies and hide in places humans are unable to reach. As the game progresses, however, the protagonist learns how to violently get rid of foes, run amazingly fast, and even glide and deafen enemies with a horrific scream. The game utilizes the Unity technology, and the 3D visuals are very detailed and feature realistic lighting effects.

A mobile installment of the popular economy simulation strategy game series in which we manage our own theme park. RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch was developed by the creators of RollerCoaster Tycoon World for PC: Nvizzio Creations. In RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch, we traditionally assume the role of a newly-opened theme park’s manager and have to transform it into a grand amusement park that attracts crowds of visitors. This goal can be achieved by constructing new attractions, stores, restaurants, decorations, and other buildings that satisfy our guests’ needs. Moreover, we have to handle the purely business aspect that requires us to increase income and cut costs. In the game, the key role is played by the eponymous rollercoasters, the series’ hallmark. We can create them by using a simple touch system — by moving our finger across the screen, we draw their shape, and then choose materials for constructing each of their fragments. The production offers highly-detailed three-dimensional graphics.

Although A Rose in the Twilight focuses on exploration and jumping on platforms, another key element of the game are logic puzzles. Developed by Arcen Games, AI War II is a science-fiction RTS game and a fully-fledged continuation of the studio’s 2009 debut project. An enemy, who is much more powerful than expected, decides first to deal with other factions, which gives human operatives time to look for weaknesses in the AI’s tactics and defenses. In terms of its gameplay, AI War II builds on the foundation provided by the first installment of the series, and at the same time, it introduces a large number of novelties and improvements. Since the enemy forces are nearly inexhaustible, player’s task is not to annihilate the enemy but to systematically advance to consecutive strategic objectives. Unlike its predecessor, AI War II delivers a fully 3D experience and allows the players to lead to battle not only humans but also the powerful Spire faction, as well as the, missing until recently, Zenith civilization.

Although the game is based on a simple economic system, it also contains a military aspect: the player must recruit warriors and make them fight the AI-controlled forces in real time. Although player’s army is accompanied by characters from the console RPG - including Noctis and Cindy - playing the game alone is not a good idea. Planescape Torment: Enhanced Edition is the remastered version of the classic cRPG game. It was created by Beamdog. Unlike the other remasters from the studio, Planescape Torment: Enhanced Edition has no new story elements. Instead, Beamdog focused on the technical aspects. Visuals were improved (on PC we can even play in 4K), just like the user's interface. Game's soundtrack was also remastered. Chris Avellone, designer of the original game, supervised some of the changes introduced by Beamdog. Most of them were tweaks to the game mechanics and fixes of bugs that were left in the original release. In Planescape Torment: Enhanced Edition we play as The Nameless One, a mysterious immortal hero who tries to find the truth about his past and the reason behind his immortality. We are accompanied by diversified characters (among them we will find Morte, a floating, talking human skull) in our adventures. Learning the stories of the citizens of this unique world and doing quests are the primary focus points of the game. Combat is present in the game, but it is just a small part of it and in most cases can be avoided. As we progress, we level up and advance our character and party members. It is worth mentioning that even though the game is based on the second edition of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons The Nameless One's character is based on our deeds in the game, not chosen during the character creation process.

An original economic strategy game developed by Wild Factor, also known for the acclaimed Freaking Meatbags. In the game, the player assumes the role of a fledgling owner of a shabby abode – his task is to make it into a mansion for various monsters, mutated plants, and psychopathic murderers, all taken straight from horror films. During the game, one has to construct new rooms, upgrade the existing ones, and lure innocent victims into the mansion – our vicious protégés can murder them and loot their bodies for resources necessary for crafting new items. What is worth noticing, the player has to obey the usual, unwritten rules of horror B-movies – murders can occur only at night, the virgins have to be the last ones to die, and such. In MachiaVillain one has to remember that the innocent victims are not the only ones to step through our threshold – our residence is visited by other monsters, who in turn can be caught and convinced to work for us, as well as supernatural creature hunters, police operatives, and even SWAT units. Because of that, combat is an important aspect of the game, offering an active pause system that allows the players to fight, observe and plan their strategies.

A turn-based RPG created by Dead Mage Studio. Tale of Ronin features a story set in Japan’s feudal period. The protagonist starts his journey as a lone traveler, but in time he may be joined by two other companions. Together they visit various locations, make difficult decisions and, most of all, fight with enemies encountered on the way. The most interesting feature in Tale of Ronin is the so-called Sekai System, which is a kind of permadeath mechanic. If the protagonist gets killed in battle or commits seppuku to reclaim lost honor, the player becomes another ronin. In such case, however, you don’t have to start completely from scratch. Instead, you visit a world shaped by the actions of your previous hero.

The girl's personality and skills are described with numerical values and statistics, and her daily schedule and what she can learn are entirely up to you. After eight years (divided into four seasons, dozens days each), when she becomes of age, you unlock one of the 74 possible endings, depending on her career path — this is when the girl's skills and experience become apparent. The game features vastly improved visuals and soundtrack, compared to those from the original release.

Thea 2: The Shattering is a sequel to the 4X strategy with RPG and card game elements developed by MuHa Games. Thea 2 takes us to the same fantasy land as the previous game, where we will find many inspirations from the Slavic mythology. We play as one of the gods who, with the help of his or her chosen heroes, tries to survive in the land of Thea. In terms of gameplay, Thea 2 is an evolution of the mechanics from the first game in the series. We can play in the style of a nomad, focusing only on expeditions and adventures, or have a more strategic approach and build many villages and join the conquered territories to our kingdom. Gathering resources is crucial in Thea 2: The Shattering. We use them in the game's complex crafting system. The lists of ingredients required for crafting items are, like the game's world, generated procedurally.

An independent MMO survival game based on Unreal Engine 4. The action of Lost Region takes place in a desolated world which is slowly taken over by the ravenous nature. The available landmass was inspired by mountainous regions of North America and consists of 64 square kilometers of diversified landscape. The players are left with a number of duties, including combat, resource gathering, completing procedurally-generated tasks, and exploration. Moreover, groups of players can engage in clan warfare by building strongholds and besieging rivaling outposts. Combat itself is stealth-oriented and requires a lot of cooperation between players, as careless assaults almost always end in failure. Thanks to an extensive crafting system, we can equip a wide range of weaponry and equipment, as well as construct buildings. Interestingly enough, the players can also encounter neutral factions, which may change their standing based on our actions.

A blend of a 2D platformer and a simple shoot'em-up game by Inti Creates. The production is another installment in the series, which started in 1988. The protagonists are skilled scientist Jason Frudnick and Fred, a mysterious creature he discovered. When the latter escapes the laboratory, Jason pursues him. He ends up in a cave, where he finds an advanced, battle-ready vehicle called Sophia-III. Blaster Master Zero features two game modes. The first one is a classic platform game utilizing a side view perspective; in this part, you have to avoid traps, overcome obstacles, and sometimes fight with enemies. However, Jason often leaves his vehicle. The perspective switches then to bird's eye view, and the protagonist has to battle opponents on foot. Both modes feature boss enemies, such as a mutant crab or a giant brain. The game features oldschool 8-bit visuals.

Both players can influence the shape and the size of the worm in order to catch the ball and carry it into the required direction, while the other team attempts to retrieve it by intruding on the winning team and pressure them to give up the ball.
