An inconspicuous but quite difficult 2D mobile arcade game by 1Button. Mechanics-wise, Mr Jump is an endless runner platformer. The protagonist constantly runs forwards and your task is to jump from platform to platform (the longer you hold the button, the higher the jump). Your goal is to reach the end of a level, which is made more difficult by various dangers, such as precipices and traps. As an additional challenge, there are no checkpoints, so just one mistake means that you have to start over. The game features 12 expansive levels with varied trap layouts and audiovisual elements, even though the latter are quite minimalist.

The third installment in a mobile city builder game series by Dutch studio Sparkling Society. Once again, you play as a mayor, whose task is to develop and insular city. You mostly erect various buildings, from houses that affect the population, through commercial objects that give them jobs, to public facilities and decorations that improve the citizens' moods. To succeed, you need to achieve the balance between those three aspects of the gameplay. If you need help, you can ask a virtual adviser, who will suggest which building should be erected next. The biggest novelty in City Island 3 is the possibility to manage a whole archipelago — as the game progresses, you unlock more islands, varying in terms of appearance and topography. Like the previous games created by the studio, City Island 3 utilizes a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

Another simulator created by Gamecask and published by PlayWay. In the game, the player assumes the role of a construction company president with a goal to achieve financial success. Construction Machines 2016 is based on two main aspects, the first one being the strategy – in this case, one gets to manage an entire enterprise, sign new contracts, and invest the money one has earned in order to unlock more profitable undertakings and some new locations. The second aspect is the simulation itself, where the players can operate numerous construction machines and construct, demolish, or maintain buildings with their own hands. Among other things, the players get at their disposal excavators, huge construction cranes, and dump trucks. What is worth mentioning, the player has to maintain and improve the aforementioned machines – in total, the game offers 40 upgrades to install on the vehicles. The entire experience becomes even more interesting with all the available tools, such as wrenches, hammers, and even some explosives. Construction Machines 2016 is based on a new technology and the 3D visuals present a relatively high-quality execution – especially the dynamic demolition system, which delivers satisfying animations of collapsing structures and other elements from the environment.

The story begins with an alleged suicide of a washed-out Hollywood star whose corpse is found hanging from a tower at a local amusement park. However, some of the evidence contradicts the leading theory, while the case is investigated by three individuals: a private detective, a local journalist, and a popular blogger. The game allows the players to control each of the characters. Action, RPG Elements, FPP, Horror, Immersive Sim, Indie Games, Action Adventure, Science Fiction, Singleplayer, Survival.

A survival-horror action adventure game and the debut production from NVYVE, a Canadian studio. The action takes place in the near future on an island that is almost completely occupied by a modern shopping and entertainment center called the Eden. In the game, we assume the role of a sole survivor of a plague of a mysterious virus that infected the island’s inhabitants and the protagonist's only ally is an AI named Pamela. The gameplay emphasizes the survival aspect — in the game, we have to constantly look for food, drink, and various useful items, as well as ensure that we get enough sleep. To fight mutants, we do not use classical armaments but a number of seemingly useless things which belonged to the Eden’s employees. The title’s highly original interface, designed as an integral part of the virtual world (for example, armbands that display the holograms of the equipment screen), deserves a praise.

A science fiction production by Imagos Softworks, combining a classical point ‘n’ click adventure game with an arcade side-scrolling shoot 'em up title. The action of Starr Mazer takes place 130 years after the Grand War that plunged the galaxy into chaos. While playing, we assume the role of a mercenary pilot called Brick M. Stonewood who, having awoken from hibernation, tries to recollect the key facts from his past. To do so, he boards his ship, the Starr Wolf, and visits many dangerous places, uncovering secrets buried in various corners of the galaxy. The gameplay combines elements of classic adventure games with arcade sequences and numerous cutscenes that develop the plot. In the title, we gather information that lead us to new locations. We move between them like in the classic arcade machine shooters. The production features old-school audiovisuals.

A tactical RPG developed by the independent studio Witching Hour. The player is taken to a fantasy world where magic exists only in one city, Ombre. However, using it is dependent on possessing special masks, which is the direct reason for never-ending intrigues and political disputes. The main protagonist is inspector Cicero Gavara who is involved in a case of a mysterious disappearance. Masquerada: Songs and Shadows is based on classical pillars of the genre: exploration, performing various quests, and fighting encountered enemies. The gameplay is presented from an isometric camera. Combat can take place in two modes: a dynamic one that puts emphasis on action or a tactical one which lets us queue orders. The key to success is to skillfully use the abilities of the protagonist and his companions as well as to put the masks to good use by casting various spells. The title is characterized by an original visual style that combines Japanese and French comic style with inspirations drawn from Venetian atmosphere and its carnivals.

An interesting arcade game in which we play the role of a person who makes a fortune on battlecoins. The fun starts practically from scratch, nesting in a small office and using a barely running computer. Over time, as we make more and more transactions, we increase our assets, thanks to which we can afford a variety of changes for the better.

An unusual variation on rugby, created by Ludometrics and set in a medieval, fantasy world. The player assumes control over a team of bullies whose task is to place the ball in the goal of the opponents by any means necessary. Each of the participants is described by its own health bar, and what follows, limited strength. Since the game is set in a world ruled by warlocks and their magic, this element was included in the mechanics as well. Thus not only can the player make use of brutal fouls that weaken the opponents, but also take advantage of many different spells and absurd gadgets, such as a portable hole that reckless opponents can fall into. On top of that, the player is capable of corrupting the judge, which is useful especially when one has no more than several minutes left to gain the upper hand on the opposing team. Bodycheck focuses mainly on delivering a multiplayer experience for up to 4 players.

Strategy, 2D, Economic, Indie Games, Internet, Multiplayer, Under Water.

A multiplayer-oriented strategy game created by a team of three programmers: Ron Carmel, Noel Llopis and Shane Nakamura. Subterfuge is set under the surface of seas, when colonies that have co-existed peacefully so far, begin fighting one another over an incredibly valuable resource known as Neptunium. The player's goal here is to achieve global domination. Each player controls their city-state and tries to gain the upper hand by moving their submarines. The game offers relatively unusual mechanics, because execution of plans based on the player's decision can take even several hours; the game goes on, while the player can be either taking care of something completely different or spending time talking to the other participants in order to make alliances, exchange information or, for instance, deceive them.
