A survival-oriented sandbox created by an in-house studio of Bohemia Interactive. Ylands allows the player to create their own interactive world. Building your own worlds is one of the mainstays of the game. They can be placed in a number of settings and conventions: from Wild West, through forests and farms, and up to medieval castles and arenas inspired by Feudal Japan. The player can modify the topography, as well as build objects and items. The game incorporates survival elements – survival in an yland requires food, shelter from the predators, and equipment. The fauna consists of the aforementioned predators, as well as domesticable animals, but the player can also choose to be accompanied by robots. We can explore the area on foot, or use various vehicles. Ylands can be played solo, or along with three friends. The game is characteristic for its colorful, angular graphics, while almost all the elements of the environment are destructible.

A building and demolition simulator created by an independent team known as Noble Muffins and published by PlayWay. Demolish & Build Company 2017 casts the player in the role of a company owner who both builds and demolishes various structures. Gameplay as such was based on two pillars here - destroying buildings and constructing new ones in their place in order to rent the new buildings. The game is played from the first-person view, allowing the player to grab a hammer and attack the walls by himself or plant explosives in critical structural points. Heavy machinery is at the player's disposal as well - one can make use of bulldozers, cranes, excavators, loaders, as well as steamrollers and trucks. Spectacular destruction is guaranteed by the capabilities of an advanced physics engine. Simultaneously, the player has to take care of running the business, which includes managing the workers appropriately, as well as buying new tools and machines for money gained both from renting the buildings they constructed and acquiring special bonuses for being an effective destroyer.

The story takes place in the same universe as Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, connecting some of the threads left out by the game. The players assume the role of a captain of the Retribution, a star cruiser in service of United Nations Space Alliance. The organization suffered serious territorial loses to rebel forces. Our task is to stop the rebellion, and stop the conflict from escalating further. The gameplay in Call of Duty: Siege mainly consists of storming enemy bases, implemented in form of inverted tower defense mechanics. The summoned units approach the objective using the shortest way possible, and our only method of intervention is using special ability cards, so the choice of the drop point is crucial. During the game, we slowly build a deck of offensive cards, representing heroes, mechs, and flying machines. In order to facilitate the defense of the controlled territory, we employ a defense-focused deck. Aside from the single player campaign, the title has a competition-oriented multiplayer mode, and the ability to create and join guilds, which are known as Alliances in the game's universe.

However, something goes wrong, and the world is visited by a number of heroes who join the opposing, power-hungry parties. Warriors All-Stars includes a set heroes from different series, such as Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Ninja Gaiden, and Dead or Alive. The title follows in the footsteps of other games in the Musou franchise – gameplay consists of exploring open locations and defeating numerous opponents. The protagonists differ in terms of attacks, and each character has a unique special attack which can often be a game changer. The title utilizes amazing visuals and smooth animation which is especially impressive, given the fact that battles frequently involve hundreds of units.

The production is an expanded version (with more camera manipulation options that allow us to watch the operation at any angle) of Surgeon Simulator from 2013. The player assumes the role of the eponymous specialist who has serious problems with movement and skillful use of the instruments. It often leads to mistakes during operations which result in death of patients. The game takes place in varied environments: from a hospital room, through a space ship, to absolute darkness. Surgeon Simulator: Experience Reality is characterized by well-made cartoonish graphics, thanks to which the sights, such as an opened ribcage or an exposed brain, don’t sicken the players.

A survival-themed action-adventure game developed by the British studio Mojo Bones. Impact Winter is set in 2018, when the Earth's atmosphere got polluted with a dense layer of dust, due to the planet's collision with a huge asteroid. Sunlight is now almost completely absent, and the player assumes the role of Jacob Solomon, who along with four other survivors has to sustain his existence under extreme conditions for 30 days - it is the amount of time the rescue team needs to reach the place. Mechanics-wise, Impact Winter is an action-adventure game that focuses on survival-related elements. The player sets out for on escapades, scavenging after the food and supplies they need. In order to stay alive, the protagonist has to survive in low temperatures, as well as to deal with the risks of dying of hunger, thirst, frostbite or injury; also, aggressive animals pose a large threat to Jacob's life. Thus making use of the available skills in order to craft the items we need is the key to success in this game.

Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds is an improved and expanded version of a visual novel game initially released on PSP and PlayStation 3. It was developed by Idea Factory. The game takes place in the 19th century Japan and tells the story of a young girl named Chizuru Yukimura, who travels to Kyoto in search for her father, a respected physician and scientist. Lost in the city, she is being helped by the members of the Shinsengumi - a law enforcement group, whose job is to fight the revolutionists opposing the shogun. When she finds out the truth about her father's research, Chizuru is forced to unravel a complicated political crime scheme. A key to achieving victory in the game lies in befriending the helpful police officers. Our adventure takes place in a way characteristic to the genre. The dialogues in which we take part are presented with 2D, slightly animated visuals. From time to time we will have to make a decision that will influence the game's plot.

Developed by the Polish developer Vivid Games, Space Pioneer is a mobile action game with numerous RPG elements. The game takes the players to a distant future, in which they assume the role of a bounty hunter traversing the space in search for opportunities to earn for a living. As one might easily guess, this type of career forces the main protagonist to face multiple threats lurking on the surfaces of various planets. The player observes the action from the top-down perspective. Gameplay is divided into a number of short missions, during which, apart from completing the main objectives, the player eliminates entire hordes of various adversaries - these include both minor enemies and the much more powerful bosses. To fight the latter ones, one has to utilize a gradually improved arsenal of firearms. The entire experience is well complemented by the character development system, allowing the player to expand their character's weapons and combat abilities.

Another experimental project developed by the British studio Ubisoft Reflections, the creators of unusual action games Grow Home and Grow Up. The title is an unusual arena shooter focused not on combat itself, but on collecting matter and evolving. The title focuses on online competitions for up to eight players. Each of them starts the battle as a single atom that can absorb mass. After collecting enough resources, the character evolves into new forms with unique advantages and preferred tactics. Combat in the game is completely optional as points are given not for elimination of opponents, but for the amount of absorbed matter. The objective of the game is to collect enough resources to transform into the titular Atomega – a giant organism that can hit the enemies with continuous energy beam.

Never Stop Sneakin' is a stealth game by indie studio Humble Hearts, and a parody of the genre, especially of the first installment in the Metal Gear Solid series. The story focuses on the nefarious plans of a terrorist group, which uses a time machine to travel back in time and kidnap every American president. You play as a special secret agent, who is sent to the enemy base to free the presidents. Despite excellent training, the agent has no chance against large numbers of enemies, so he has to avoid being detected and sneak past foes. When it's impossible to do so, he has to eliminate the opponents as quickly as possible. The game features various boss battles and unusual old-school visuals, based on games for the first generation PlayStation console.
