Farming Simulator 17: Kuhn is another expansion for Farming Simulator 17. It was developed by GIANTS Software and requires the base game to be playable. The expansion only introduces eighteen machines made by the Khun company. We get: DC 401, HR 4004, PERFORMER 4000, DISCOLANDER XM 52 cultivators; ESPRO 3000, TF 1500, BTF 4000, PLANTER 3 R 12 planters; PF 1500, DELTIS 1302 MEA3, METRIS 4102 sprayers; AXIS 40.2 M-EMC-W fertilizer spreader, GMD 4411 mower, GF 8702 tedder, MERGE MAXX 902 hay rake, and bale wrappers, such as SW 4014, LSB 1290 D, and FBP 3135. After downloading the DLC, its contents are available in the in-game store and have to be purchased for the in-game currency. Farming Simulator 17: Kuhn uses the same game engine as the series’ previous installments, but was tweaked here and there to make the new machines look better.

Developed by an indie developer David O’Reilly, Everything generates worlds, which you can watch from any perspective you like. Each universe can be observed in both micro and macro scale. You start playing in a particular place of a procedurally generated world, but the rest is completely up to you – you are free to take control of a single atom, animal, or object, and focus on its immediate whereabouts, or control an entire planet, star or even galaxy. The gameplay has no specific goal – what you do and why you do it is your choice. As you jump between different elements of the universe you create its encyclopedia – objects that you discover are catalogued, after which you can view them in a special menu. All that is complemented by decent graphics and atmospheric soundtrack as well as lectures of the philosopher Alan Watts. Interestingly, Everything is the first video game in history nominated for Oscar in the Best Animated Short Film thanks to its several-minute trailer – that film had also won jury’s award at Vienna Shorts Festival.

Mighty Gunvolt Burst is a sequel to the 2014 arcade game Mighty Gunvolt that was released on Nintendo 3DS. Both games were developed by Inti Creates, 2D action games specialists. We play as the titular Gunvolt, a hero who can control lightning and uses that ability in his fight against evil. He is aided by the ghost of a girl name Joule who lives inside our protagonist, providing him protection in critical situations. Mighty Gunvolt Burst is a 2D side-scrolling action game with platformer elements similar to the fan-favorite Mega Man series. Gameplay focuses on exploring more and more locations, jumping on platforms, and fighting with many enemies. In comparison to the series' previous installment, the game comes with some visible improvements, like new collectibles, character progression system, or a special Final Blow that gives us more experience points when we use it to finish our enemy off.

Battles use a system known from the earlier entries in Final Fantasy series: after performing an action, a character must wait some time before it can again engage in combat. As the players progress through the game, characters earn experience, which lets them develop individual skills and statistics.

One of the many DLC packs for the fourth installment in the history-based strategy games series from Paradox Interactive, Europa Universalis. The expansion entitled Third Rome is the first of the so-called Immersion Packs, which focus on expanding specific options in individual regions of the world. In this case we are dealing with Russia, the eponymous Third Rome, a spiritual successor to Byzantine Empire. Along with the add-on, Russian rulers gain a whole range of new management options, including the annexation of entire states or turning highly developed provinces into metropolises. Europa Universalis IV: Third Rome also presents a struggle of the head of the nation with the Orthodox Church. Depending on which saint you chose to revere on icons, you get a specific bonus. Another area that received innovations is the military, featuring brand new, unique units, such as the Moscow Riflemen.

Like in other games from Dovetail Games studio, Flight Sim World tries to simulate real life as closely as possible. In addition to advanced physics the developers took care of details that make each vehicle different in how they are handled; another thing that influences it are changing weather conditions. The cockpits of all machines are recreated with even the smallest details and are fully interactive. This means that all buttons and levers are used for something and using them requires prudence and knowledge. In Flight Sim World we can fly in Free Flight mode or together with other people. The game also has an editor that allows us to create our own missions. Flight Sim World uses advanced modeling and rendering technologies, enabling the game to offer good graphics and recreate planes with the smallest details – both outside and inside.

Above all, the player will find the Arcade Mode (follows the story of the selected character), a score-attack mode, and a multiplayer mode that allows the player to fight against other players from all over the world (online). Furthermore, the game gives us an opportunity to personalize the character. One can both change the appearances of the characters, and select the most appropriate special abilities for them, which can be activated in combat. The Chaos meter serves a significant role in the gameplay formula, as it gets refilled when the player lands a hit and allows them to execute the character's deadly abilities that brighten the screen with plenty of colors and deal lots of damage to the enemies. The game offers pleasant, colorful graphics, resembling Japanese animation.

Gameplay in Tom Clancy’s ShadowBreak comes down to eliminating targets over a large distance in first-person view. Since you cannot change your position while playing, you must rely on your squad to follow your orders. You can point targets for them as well as move them around locations, all the while protecting them from enemy fire. As you progress, you unlock better and better gear for you squad. You can also recruit new soldiers.

Expansions included in this edition offer completely new areas, enemies, and abilities. The first one takes place in a different dimension and offers the players dungeons that change on a daily basis, among other things. The second expansion was created in cooperation with the heavy metal band Motorhead and faces the players with three demons that need to killed. Gameplay mechanics remain the same. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is another installment of the jRPG series developed by Nihon Falcom Corp. The game begins a year and a half after the events of the second game of the series. Erobonia Empire is now the biggest country on the continent. Government’s policies lead to the weakening of the areas once ruled by by the nobles, which leads to new problems. The students of Class VII have finished their education and began to lead their own lives. Rean Schwarzer, our protagonist, decided to become an instructor of the university’s special division that trains a small number of talented adepts. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III uses the same (although slightly improved) gameplay mechanics as the other games of the series. Combat is now more fast-paced thanks to the assignment of particular actions to gamepad’s buttons. In addition to that, a special new command Brave Order was also implemented in the game.

Enchanted forests and snow-covered mountain peaks – this is the path taken by our team comprising Arthur – a fearless warrior, who wields the magical sword he previously drew from a stone, Ginevra – an expert witch, Idril – an elvish archer, and Kerdick – a muscular dwarf. The protagonists embark on a quest to save the world from an inevitable doom that might be caused by the wars waged by the local gods, and the secretive actions of conspirators trying to restore the power of an ancient evil. Our fellowship has to face numerous foes – from large spiders and skeletons to goblin bands and trolls. The battles feature a turn-based system. The key to victory lies in a good utilization of the characters’ features, their special skills, and items. Additional pieces of equipment can be acquired by looting fallen enemies and using the crafting system, which allows the players to combine gathered ingredients to create useful items. The visuals feature a warm and merry color scheme, which perfectly corresponds with the light and fairy-tale-like game setting.

Combined with old-school, pixelart visuals, Meganoid brings to mind games from the early 1990's.

Another spin-off in the popular series of dungeon crawlers, Etrian Odyssey, developed by Spike Chunsoft. The player assumes the role of an adventurer, who helps an unfamiliar woman in reaching the roots of the Yggdrasil tree, which is told to hide a gate to the world of gods. The events in Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 are presented from an isometric perspective, and a significant portion of gameplay is about exploration of randomly generated dungeons as well as fighting turn-based battles. Interestingly, both heroes and their adversaries perform actions at the same time – therefore, when you move from one field to another, the enemy may be performing the same action. You take under your command a team of four adventurers, whom you can hire and replace in a town, which serves the role of your base of operation. In the course of the adventure the heroes gain experience and learn new skills as well as class-based special abilities. It is also noteworthy that upon dying the characters go back to the town, however, they also lose the entire equipment and gold they carried. Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2’s characteristic feature is its colorful, eye-pleasing graphics.

We play as a brave young boy who goes on various dangerous adventures during which he, along with his friends, fights with enemies. As we play, we explore the game’s world, beat the game’s platform elements, collect items, and fight with enemies. We can recruit every character we meet, including our opponents. It requires us to convince them to do so, so we will have to be really thoughtful and creative when talking with them. AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected features quite unusual but still good looking visuals. The game’s colorful world is in 3D, but all characters are 2D sprites.

When burglars break into the store and steal the magic Zombie Dust, the protagonist becomes a living doll and its goals are to find the kidnapped owner of the shop and to reverse the effects of the mysterious substance. The game is played from a third-person view and the core of the experience lies in exploration of various locations, avoiding the omnipresent traps, solving puzzles, and fighting the enemies encountered. In combat, the protagonist makes use of various attacks and special powers. Compared to the original release, this remastered edition brings mainly updated visuals, new effects and improved textures. The game supports 1080p resolution settings, at 60 frames per second.

As we progress and achieve better results we will unlock new cars and gain access to new visual modifications, which we can buy for the in-game currency that we get while playing. How much money we make depends on our achievements. Driving at high speed and performing dangerous maneuvers increases our infamy levels, for which we are being paid by a TV station that produces a show about car pursuits. Highway Getaway features great visuals and highly detailed car models.

A unique management game and a remastered and extended edition of a PlayStation 2 title. Princess Maker Refine was created by Japanese studio Gainax, supervised by one of its co-founders, Takami Akai. You play as a hero, who already defeated the dark lord and saved the citizens of the kingdom invaded by the villain. The protagonist decided to settle down and adopt an orphaned girl, so that he can not only help with rebuilding the country, but also take care of her future. Thus you have to look after your foster daughter and make sure she has good education and skills, which will have an impact on her adult life. The girl's personality and skills are described with numerical values and statistics, and her daily schedule and what she can learn are entirely up to you. After eight years (divided into four seasons, dozens days each), when she becomes of age, you unlock one of the 74 possible endings, depending on her career path — this is when the girl's skills and experience become apparent. The game features vastly improved visuals and soundtrack, compared to those from the original release.

An action platform game with logical puzzles. It was developed by British studio Sumo Digital. The title is based on a prototype created by Seba Liese during a Game Jam. Snake pass tells a story about the adventures of a snake and his friend, a hummingbird. Together they must find keys to the magical gates that provide magical power to the Harmony Foothills. They are doing it in order to defeat a mysterious intruder who threatens the lives of the inhabitants of the realm. The game takes place in a three-dimensional environment and the player takes control of the aforementioned snake. The protagonist’s movement was recreated in a pretty realistic way. It means that, for example, he cannot jump, but instead he crawls along the ground, wraps around objects and swims. All of these actions must be used in order to defeat various obstacles and to find well hidden collectibles. In some situations the friendly hummingbird helps the snake by catching him by his tail and transporting to seemingly unavailable places.

A continuation of a well-received 2015 mobile endless runner Alto's Adventure, developed by Snowman. Like its predecessor, Alto's Odyssey does not feature a story as such - in the game, the player assumes the role of a snowboarder who has to overcome the obstacles, jump over chasms, run from the enemies, catch runaway animals, and perform various snowboard tricks, for which he is awarded points. Instead of the snow-capped mountains known from the first installment, the player gets to travel to a desert location filled with dunes, ruins of ancient cities, and a ton of new threats. Similarly to other endless runner games, the track is generated procedurally and has no end. The player has to avoid making any mistakes, cover gradually increasing distances, and get as many points as possible. Like its predecessor, the game features minimalist visuals; however, they are bound to appeal to many players with their pastel color palette.

The protagonists are skilled scientist Jason Frudnick and Fred, a mysterious creature he discovered. When the latter escapes the laboratory, Jason pursues him. He ends up in a cave, where he finds an advanced, battle-ready vehicle called Sophia-III. Blaster Master Zero features two game modes. The first one is a classic platform game utilizing a side view perspective; in this part, you have to avoid traps, overcome obstacles, and sometimes fight with enemies. However, Jason often leaves his vehicle. The perspective switches then to bird's eye view, and the protagonist has to battle opponents on foot. Both modes feature boss enemies, such as a mutant crab or a giant brain. The game features oldschool 8-bit visuals.

The heroine must prove that she is the rightful heir to the great fortune accumulated by her ancestors. In contrast to the basic game, action of Rise of the Tomb Raider: Blood Ties is limited solely to Croft Manor. Aside from the story, the game includes Lara’s nightmare, a special mode similar to various horde modes. The protagonist has to defend the manor against monsters taken out straight of her nightmares, using a wide variety of weapons. The expansion has been released in digital distribution, and as a part of a special edition: Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration. PlayStation 4 version includes support for PlayStation VR - virtual reality goggles.

A spin-off of the popular space MMORPG – EVE Online, created by the same studio: CCP Games. EVE: Gunjack is a title developed with virtual reality sets in mind. The game sees us man a powerful cannon, defending an oil platform against the enemies trying to destroy it. When it comes to mechanics, the game is a classic rail shooter – we are unable to control the movements of our character, the player can only look around. Therefore, our role is reduced to firing at numerous enemies and gathering various pick-ups that increase the stopping power of our weapons, durability of the cover, and give us access to new weapons. Eliminating enemies nets us points, while linking the kills into spectacular combinations results in increasing the current point multiplier. The only game mode available is the single player campaign, divided into missions. Our scores can be placed in the internet ranking. Unreal Engine 4 is responsible for generating visuals in EVE: Gunjack, with their quality similar to EVE: Valkyrie.

An original puzzle game with exploration elements, created by a small debuting team, William Chyr Studio. Manifold Garden takes the players to an irrational world where laws of physics are constantly being broken. The core of the game lies in exploration of unusual surroundings, unraveling its mysteries and rules but also solving numerous puzzles which requires the players to think unconventionally. The game is presented from a first-person perspective and the environment consists of architectonic creations that defy the laws of physics, e.g. never-ending steps or 3D labyrinths. Gravitation isn't always the same here, which means that we can walk not only on ground but also on walls and ceilings. However, in order to discover new paths that lead to new stages we should demonstrate our ability to think out of the box and go beyond clichés. The graphics, based mostly on contours, feature a cartoonish style.

An episodic exploration adventure game, created by an independent studio ComonGames. The plot takes place in a post-apocalyptic world in which humanity, as a result of multiple, prolonged wars, has become completely extinct. Earth is now a home to simple life forms and AI-controlled robots. In a series of episodes, we assume the role of various machines, the main task of which is to discover the human nature and reasons for the fall of a whole civilization. The action in The Uncertain is seen from a first-person perspective, while the gameplay involves exploring diverse environments, acquiring information from leftover notes and journals, and finally, solving various riddles. The latter focus on manipulating various items and elements of the environment, often forcing the player to think unconventionally. High-quality visuals are achieved thanks to the Unity engine, with atmospheric, ambient soundtrack complementing the visual side.

A mobile logic game with RPG features. Hero Emblems 2 takes the player to a fantasy realm known from previous entry in the series. The player controls a four-person party that is looking for adventures, fame and treasures while completing various hard tasks. The gameplay in Hero Emblems 2 focuses on turn-based battles that utilize match-3 mechanics. All actions like attacking, defending and healing are activated by creating chains of similar symbols on an interactive board – there must be at least three similar symbols in a line. The game features RPG elements like an expanding story, dialogues, exploration and character development. Hero Emblems 2 features attractive two-dimensional graphics filled with bright colors, cartoon-like style and character design inspired by Japanese animation.

City Living adds a new area of the city of San Myshuno, where you can find e.g. noisy neighbors, administrators, who want their rent money badly, exotic restaurants, and many more interesting places and events. Your Sims can now live in apartments and luxury suites, and can choose from three new career options, each connected with the city life: politician, art critic, and social media expert. The expansion allows your Sims to live in one of the four San Myshuno districts, each of them having a different architectural style, possibilities, and features, such as e.g. street festivals or karaoke bars. The game also features new activities, which your Sims can perform either at home or downtown.

A real-time strategy created by CyberphobX studio. The player assumes the role of Harvey Croft, a rookie police commander whose main task is to capture the mysterious leader of a crime syndicate called Imperio. The gameplay is comprised of managing the precinct, coordinating individual officer's actions, and generally-understood crime fighting on the streets of fictional city of Newport Falls. The last goal is possible thanks to obtaining evidence and using it to find the culprits. In Police Tactics: Imperio, budget and resource control are of primary concern. By racking up high-profile arrests, the player unlocks new precincts, units, and upgrades. Our subordinates get promoted to officers, or detectives, and as the time goes, we upgrade our garage with new police cars, or even helicopters which allow for better access to crime scenes. An interesting aspect of the game is the presence of German and American police cars. Additionally, the news about events in the game world are relayed by a radio, modeled after similar devices used by American law officers.

An RPG from the dungeon crawler genre, developed by the independent studio Goblinz. Players are taken to fantasy world filled with dungeons to explore, treasures to find and monsters to defeat. At the same time, Dungeon Rusher offers a humorous approach to classic heroic fantasy tropes. We lead a party of adventurers, who must defeat a lord of darkness, dwelling in the deepest dungeon. Our team will consist of a shaman, an archeress, a warlike dwarf and a bard. Gameplay comes down to exploring and fighting enemies as we travel through two-dimensional map. When we meet hostile creatures, we are taken on the battlefield and engage in turn-based combat, which requires proper positioning of our fighters and wise use of their abilities. We also find many items, including weaponry, and there are crafting and trading systems. Aside from single player campaign, Dungeon Rushers offers a multiplayer mode to fight against other players.

An unusual economic strategy game developed by Positech Games. The game was inspired by Henry Ford’s idea, according to which dividing the construction process into smallest and simplest stages increases production speed and reduces production costs. In Production Line the player takes control of a motor factory that is becoming more profitable thanks to the gradual optimization of the production process. Because time is the main currency in the game, the key to success lies in a smartly designing production line, created by placing the machines so that each meter of the factory is fully used and there are no slowdowns. Lowering the costs enables the player to earn more and to invest into further upgrades. The player must also remember about his rivals who have much more investment resources and about potential emergencies, technical difficulties and random events.

Wonder Boy Returns

A remake of the two-dimensional platform game released in 1986. The new version was developed by Korean studio CFK. The player assumes the role of the titular Wonder Boy – a caveman whose girlfriend was kidnapped by the Dark King. The protagonist attempts to rescue Tina while trying to take care of the villain. The gameplay of Wonder Boy Returns features traveling through various levels, jumping between platforms and fighting enemies like bees, spiders and penguins. From time to time the player faces bosses as well. In the eggs scattered across the levels the player can find power-ups that gives the protagonist new abilities (such as temporary invincibility) and weapons. In comparison to the original, the game has much richer graphics – the character models and environment textures were upgraded and the title received additional animations and light effects that accompany some of the attacks.

An unusual turn-based horror strategy game developed by Kitfox Games. The action of The Shrouded Isle takes place in a remote town on an island that is cut off from the world. We assume the role of its mayor, and our task is to ensure the local population’s prosperity. The problem is that the town was built upon the resting place of some ancient gods’ that, if unsatisfied, can awaken and devour everything in their way. The primary responsibilities of the player are similar to those from classical economy simulation games. While playing, we have to balance the four essential town development factors. The gameplay is turn-based, though, corresponding to subsequent seasons. In each of them, we have to assign tasks to the townsfolk and to sacrifice one town resident in order to postpone the awakening of the gods. The game features unusual stylized 2D graphics that resort mainly to shades of yellow and green.
