It turns out that a space-time portal was opened as a result of an experiment, which led to a demon incursion that we have to repel. Compared to its predecessors from the past decade, Doom 3 offers not only fast-paced and incredibly bloody action but also quite extensive plot as well as a number of horror elements. The game also features high-quality graphics.

Before each operation, the player chooses the weapons and equipment that will serve the objectives best. The game features representations of many real-world weapons and tactical gadgets. When playing solo, the player can control the team members directly (one can switch between them) or give orders to the team from the base of operations. Apart from the single player experience, SWAT 4 offers three multiplayer modes, as well as the co-op campaign mode. Additionally, a special editor is featured, which allows the player to create their own missions and modify the existing ones.

The game is focused on fast, intensive battles of two small teams of players. Each participant controls one character selected from a roster of unique warriors. During the game the protagonists are gaining experience and unlock new abilities. In contrast to classic MOBA games like Dota, Battlerite lacks any bases, towers or allied units controlled by artificial intelligence. Instead of that, the title provides open arenas on which the gameplay is focused only on PvP gameplay. The game itself offers an action-focused combat system. The action is presented from a top-down perspective and the mechanics are inspired by shooters and other action games. The crowd present on the arenas is an interesting addition – gaining its favor provides various rewards.

Farm Expert 2017 traditionally allows the player to assume the role of a farmer who is tasked with maintaining and expanding his farm. His main task is to cultivate the ground with various professional equipment among which there are 170 devices, including vehicles from the world’s leading producers. The farm is also maintained with plant protection products. During the game one can breed animals and grow plants in glass houses where a computer can regulate temperature and air humidity. In comparison to the previous installment of the series, Farm Expert 2017 features more advanced driving physics and soil behavior system. The graphics of the title aren’t much different from the ones in the previous year’s edition of the game.

In terms of game mechanics, Assault Squad does not stray far from the formula of the base game - the player fights in various places the Second World War left its mark on, taking control over American, Soviet and German, as well as previously unavailable British and Japanese squads. Contrary to the base game, the expansion focuses mainly on multiplayer experience, offering four modes, namely the Frontlines, Combat, Assault Zones and Skirmish. For those preferring single-player games, the creators prepared fifteen missions to be played in the Skirmish mode - one can compete against their friends or bots and their goal is to take over the outposts scattered throughout the map. Men of War: Assault Squad utilizes an improved version of the engine used by the core game, which had a positive effect mainly on the visuals and vehicle models, making them look more realistic.

However, Gabriel has a personal goal to achieve as well, for he wishes to find and obtain a magical mask, the artifact required to bring his murdered wife back to life. In terms of mechanics, the game reshapes the standard platforming elements of the franchise to fit into the third-person action convention. The player traverses the game world on foot or on horseback, eliminating hordes of enemies encountered on the roads, and facing powerful, demanding bosses. The player makes use of several basic weapon types, including the token combat cross. The combat skills of the protagonist are improved as the game progresses.

Enhanced version of one of the most popular online first-person shooters, which debuted in the year 2000. The new edition is one hundred percent faithful to the original concept, focusing entirely on skirmishes of two teams: terrorists and counter-terrorists. Just like it was in the original game, the choice of either of the sides is essential for both the objectives that you must reach as well as the equipment you can use for the job. However, some major changes were introduced to the technical side of the game, thanks to moving it to an advanced game engine called Source, which was created by Valve for the second installment in the Half-Life series. Due to that fact, all of the original maps gained in visual quality and level of detail, while the gameplay was enhanced by much improved physics and a variety of advanced effects that were lacking from the first release of the game. A sequel to the fantasy hack'n'slash game by Runic Games, founded by the creators of the cult game Diablo. The story takes place several years after the events of the first installment. The Alchemist, possessed by malevolent dark forces, destroys the town of Torchlight and steals the essence of power of Ordrak the dragon, the main antagonist of the original Torchlight game. Playing as one of the four available character classes, you have to stop the mad Alchemist and prevent disturbing the balance of good and evil. Compared to the previous installment, Torchlight II features a bigger, open world with diverse environments, changing weather, and a day-and-night cycle. The third installment in a hit video game series started in 2005 on PlayStation 2. Killzone 3 is a science-fiction FPS game developed - like the previous Killzone installments – by Guerilla Games. The game’s story takes place on a planet inhabited by the Helghast, where two characters known from the previous games, Sev and Rico, have to fight their way through the members of the enemy faction. In the background, the players will get to experience behind-the-scene schemes at the top of Helghan Administration and a coup that might bring about catastrophic consequence for both sides of the conflict. Killzone 3 features very diverse missions, in which a player is not limited to elimination of enemies all guns blazing – also, one gets to operate various vehicles, assume the stealth approach and take down enemies by surprise, as well as travel to an orbital station and shoot at enemies from a space fighter.
