Another entry in the series of economic strategy games in which the player assumes the role of an owner of a pizzeria. The first game in the series debuted in 1999 and its sequel was released one year later. In the third installment the player is tasked with transforming a small business into a giant network of restaurants scattered across the world. Like before, one of the greatest attractions of the game is a pizza creator that enables the player to create his own versions of the titular dish by using more than 75 ingredients. In addition to that, the player must take care of his business – manage the restaurants and employees, decorate the buildings and perform market analyses. From time to time he must also face his competition, not always according to the rules of fair play. The main mode of Pizza Connection 3 is a story campaign. It starts in Rome, but gradually the player conquers other markets as well. The title also offers a sandbox mode in which the player can freely expand his business. It is worth mentioning that it is the first three-dimensional entry in the series.

An espionage action game with distinct RPG elements, developed by Obsidian Entertainment. The player assumes the role of Michael Thorton – a secret agent whose main task is to unravel a conspiracy that threatens the political balance of the entire world. During his adventure, the main protagonist visits different parts of the globe (such as Rome, Moscow, and Taipei), and the task he has been assigned requires him to make difficult decisions, resulting in measurable results later on. In Alpha Protocol: The Espionage RPG the action is presented from a third-person perspective. Key gameplay aspects are the conversations with NPCs that one can handle in three ways (aggressive, professional, and suave) – the approach taken by the player has a direct effect on the interlocutors’ behavior and might result in either acquiring new friends or severing relations with a given organization. Depending on the chosen specialty, missions can be executed in a number of different ways – nothing stands in the player’s way to initiate shootouts; however, it is also worth considering to sneak past enemies and take them down from surprise. As the story progresses, Michael makes use of a constantly growing number of both active and passive skills. Moreover, for each achievement one receives additional perks, which offer stat bonuses and additional experience. The character development system is well complimented with diversified equipment comprising armor, weapons, and gadgets.

Similarly to its predecessors, the game allows us to participate in the various armed conflicts of the twentieth-century; this time, commanding our own warship. Furthermore, in order to diversify the gameplay, the creators introduced an option that enables ship modifications, adding a strategic aspect to the game. The mechanics focus around proven patterns, typical of online games and aimed primarily at competition and cooperation between players in one of several game modes available. The game features faithfully recreated weapons from the period, including various types of cannons, mortars, and carronades. One of the game's characteristic, and very realistic, features is the ship handling, as the player can control each sail separately and the crew management is also rather complex. The visuals are powered by the Unity engine, which makes the game look better than one could expect. Also, the creators' dedication to recreate the ships as authentic as possible deserves praise.

Strategy, RPG Elements, Side-scroll, Singleplayer, 16th Century, Free-to-play.

A strategy game with RPG elements, in which you manage a fortress of the eponymous Assassin Brotherhood and lead a self-composed team of assassins. The title was developed by the Canadian team at Behavior Interactive Studio. Assassin’s Creed Rebellion is set in the 15th-century Spain, where you confront the Inquisition. The Brotherhood is made up of over forty characters, featuring both famous characters from the Assassin’s Creed video games and the movie as well as twenty completely new individuals. The fortress under your command is the main base of operations for your men, from which they set out for missions in teams of up to three members. As you accumulate experience and gain higher character levels, you are able to expand the fortress with new rooms and purchase equipment. On the other hand, while performing specific tasks (which require heroes with specific abilities), you gain DNA fragments (unlocking more Assassins), raw materials (for improving existing units), and crafting materials (needed to create better equipment). Against a background of other Assassin's Creed games, Rebellion is distinguished by its graphics design, based on Chibi stylistics.
