Title was developed by the team of Troika Games studio, founded by former employees of Interplay and co-authors of the iconic RPG, Fallout. In Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura we play the part of a simple mortal, who, after having managed to survive the disaster of the world's first airship, becomes widely recognized as a deity due to an ancient elven prophecy, bringing him a whole lot of adventures, troubles, and dangers. The game develops in a nonlinear way, offering, in addition to the main plot line, a whole bunch of extremely complex side quests. Just as in the aforementioned Fallout, the game has no rigid class system; hence, our character can specialize in magic, technology, or freely combine both elements.

In Star Wars: Empire at War – Forces of Corruption players get an entirely new faction at their disposal, which is at war with both the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance. The aforementioned faction, called the Underworld Organization, is able to spy and sabotage hostile factions e.g. by limiting their unit production. This expansion also features new options for land skirmish battles such as customizable and upgradeable base structures, guerilla warfare, and additional units for all factions (Rebel B-wings, Imperial TIE interceptors, Darth Vader's Executor Super Star Destroyer and more).

Gameplay mechanics underwent no major changes, and the new solutions (such as implementation of neutral city-states, hexagonal map grid, and the limit of one unit per field) are mostly results of evolution of previously employed ideas. Some visible changes were made to the visuals, which are now powered by a brand new graphic engine.

It was developed by Petroglyph Games, a studio established by the creators of the cult Command & Conquer series, as well as Star Wars: Empire at War, among other titles. The story takes place in the distant future on one of the human colonies called Ecosystem Nine. Three warring factions compete for control over the planet: humans, space refugees (Betas), and the eponymous nanobots known as Goo. Naturally, each side of the conflict has their own units, buildings, and technologies. The gameplay combines the mechanics of the RTS classics with modern graphics and refurbished interface. It focuses on resource gathering, base development, and challenging tactical combat. At the same time, the developers dropped the necessity of controlling every single unit, so the players can concentrate on managing the larger picture of the battlefield.

The gameplay focuses on the exploration of the enormous game world, where the players can trade, take assignments, and participate in realistic sea battles. The game features faithfully recreated weapons from the period, including various types of cannons, mortars, and carronades. One of the game's characteristic, and very realistic, features is the ship handling, as the player can control each sail separately and the crew management is also rather complex. The visuals are powered by the Unity engine, which makes the game look better than one could expect. Also, the creators' dedication to recreate the ships as authentic as possible deserves praise.

A remastered edition of a popular FPS with RPG elements, originally released in 2007 on PC and Xbox 360; the PlayStation 3 version came out a year later. In case of the PC version, BioShock Remastered is available as a stand-alone product, but the game is part of BioShock: The Collection as well. The largest change introduced since the original release lies in the improved visuals, now supporting 4K resolution and using updated textures. Apart from that, BioShock Remastered offers all the contents of the original release. The player is taken to Rapture - an underwater metropolis where they will fight aggressive mutants and discover the gloomy history behind this extraordinary place. The player explores atmospheric locations, solves environmental puzzles, fights the enemies encountered and develops the protagonist's abilities. The last aspect is linked with moral choices which affect how the entire story ends. In combat, the player makes use of firearms, melee weapons, as well as special powers acquired through DNA modifications.

A standalone expansion for the 2013’s well-received survival sandbox game, Don’t Starve. The main goal of the add-on is to transfer the core premise of the original title into cooperative multiplayer gameplay. In the game, we still explore the world, gather food, build a shelter, fight various enemies, and take care of the protagonist’s physical and mental health. The primary novelty is the possibility of interacting with other players who can turn out to be either precious friends or deadly foes. Don’t Starve Together allows us to play both with our friends and with complete strangers. Another appeal of the expansion is the fact that it comes with the previously released DLC, Reign of Giants, which expands the original title with new bioms, enemies, and a full year cycle. The production can be obtained free of charge by all owners of the vanilla game.
