The third standalone expansion for Men of War, a real-time strategy game. Similarly to the vanilla game and its two previous add-ons, it was developed by Best Way. This time around, the players can take part in the Vietnam War, fought in years 1955-1975 by US-backed South Vietnam and North Vietnam, supported in turn by the Communist Bloc. Both sides of the conflict have their separate story campaigns. The missions we have to complete include rescuing American prisoners, taking over important strategic points, and eliminating enemy officers. The title also lets us participate in historical events, such as ambushes on the Ho Chi Minh trail or defending a bridge during the Tet Offensive. Men of War: Vietnam gives the players control of a squad of several specialized units, while the gameplay itself is focused mostly on performing silent and precise missions.

BattleTech, developed by Harebrained Schemes studio, known for Shadowrun, is a tactical battle game, which is a refreshed edition of a game released for PC in the 80s, as one of the first games by Westwood (Command & Conquer). The work was overseen by Jordan Weisman himself – the developer of the acclaimed series, MechWarrior, as well as the original BattleTech tabletop from 1984. The game is set in the year 3025, in a universe in which influential noble houses compete for dominance over individual zones of the Galaxy. In terms of mechanics, the game is a turn-based strategy with RPG elements, in which powerful mechs take the center stage. The centerpiece of the gameplay is a complex and partly non-linear story campaign, but the developers also provide a possibility to play with others in a multiplayer.

The third installment in a series of original action games focusing on spectacular encounters with hordes of murderous zombies. The game was created by the fathers of the franchise - Capcom, though the player assumes the role of a completely new character here - Nick Ramos. As usual, Dead Rising 3 is set in an open environment, in which the protagonist completes a series of different tasks, eliminating entire crowds of zombies along the way. Sophisticated weapons made of various objects found and created on the fly are the hallmark of the series. Both exploration and elimination of enemies are also facilitated by use of different vehicles. In terms of visuals, the third installment presents a more serious art style, though the screen is still dominated by hordes of enemies and gallons of blood. What's important is that the maximum number of enemies that can be displayed on the screen at the same time is now three times larger than before. The graphics fully employ the potential of modern PC hardware and 8th-gen consoles.

A realistic survival game created by a debuting Australian studio Beam Team Games. The player assumes the role of a plane crash survivor who struggles to remain alive on one of the uninhabited islands of the Pacific. Unlike most games of this genre, this production is focused not only on the exploration of the island itself, but it also encompasses the ocean floor around it. Both areas are randomly generated before each game. The life of our hero can be endangered by various threats: hunger, thirst, heat during the day, or a sudden drop in temperature at night. An encounter with a shark or sailing into the open sea during a storm may also prove deadly. Additionally, the game features an intuitive crafting system, which allows the player to create simple tools as well as more advanced structures such as a raft or a makeshift hut. High quality graphic design, featuring dynamic weather and a night-and-day cycle, stands out in comparison to other games of this popular genre.

An expanded edition of Mortal Kombat X by NetherRealm, released in April 2015 as the tenth installment in the cult fighting game series which was launched back in 1992 on arcade machines. The action takes place 25 years after the events of the original game and tells a completely new story, in which new characters, for example: Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade’s daughter, play a major role. The gameplay mechanics were not changed significantly – it is still a 2.5D fighting game that puts emphasis on special attacks and spectacular finishers. Mortal Kombat XL contains all DLCs released as a part of the original game's season pass. Apart from a large variety of various skins for the available warriors, their biggest attraction are bonus playable fighters such as the four-armed Goro, Tremor, Tanya Tri-Borg, Bo’ Rai Cho, as well as iconic movie characters like Predator, Xenomorph, Jason Voorhees, or Leatherface.

An action adventure game based on the third Spider-Man movie directed by Sam Raimi. The action is set in the city of New York, recreated with great attention to details. We assume the role of the eponymous superhero, who has to undertake a myriad of various quests. However, the story does not impose any specific path on us, letting us decide the mission order on our own. Spider-Man 3: The Game focuses primarily on combat, where we can perform spectacular strikes with arms and legs as well as use the spider web. Hordes of minor enemies as well as ten famous villains known from the Marvel comic books will stand in our way. An interesting novelty is the fact that in the game we control not only the classic Spider-Man, but also his dark incarnation that came to life as a result of merging with a mysterious space symbiont.

The third installment in the series of action games developed by THQ, combining mechanics known from the Grand Theft Auto franchise with absurd sense of humor. The main protagonist is the same character as in the previous Saints Row games. Together with a group of gangsters he tries to preserve the position of the Saints gang. However, a completely new force is trying to take over Steelport – an international syndicate, called Dawn, that specializes in extortion and racketeering. To make things even worse, many local gangs such as The Deckers and Luchadores are cooperating with the syndicate. The strong criminal element present in the city is being opposed by the STAG group, financed by the government. The game offers many varied missions that focus mostly on rivalry between the aforementioned factions. The game can be played alone or in cooperation mode. In comparison to the previous installments in the series, the developers went even further when it comes to the unique humor, implementing numerous funny costumes, weapons, and vehicles.

A multiplayer World War II first-person shooter. The game is a debut project of an Australian studio Black Matter. Hell Let Loose takes place during the World War II and the player can participate in the Battle of Stalingrad, operation Overlord, Guadalcanal Campaign and other theaters. The player can fight alongside the Allies or the Axis. The game focuses on presenting the war in a realistic way. The battles are played on vast maps based on archives. The gameplay focuses on battles fought between two teams consisting of 50 people. The teams are divided into smaller platoons and the soldiers are tasked with taking over and holding specific sectors while also maintaining supply lines. Commanders are controlling the situation on the battlefield and the key to success lies in cooperation of team members and in coordination of actions. The soldiers can use more than a dozen of varied weapons. They can also use vehicles and call in air strikes.

Another mechanic simulator published by PlayWay – a studio known for publishing such games as Car Mechanic Simulator, Train Mechanic Simulator, and Space Mechanic Simulator. The game has been developed by Degenerals and allows the player to assume the role of an owner of the museum exhibiting tanks from the period of World War II. The gameplay is divided into several stages. In the first stage, one has to search for a machine, gather information on it, assemble a team of technicians, and set off to acquire the desired machine. The search area can be covered with an off-road vehicle, and after finding the wreckage, it has to be excavated and transported back to the museum using special equipment. Another stage focuses on renovating the acquired tank - the player has to remove the rust, replace all the damaged components, etc. In order to do this, one has to disassemble the entire vehicle, and after thorough cleaning, repainting, and replacing all the necessary parts, put it back together. Finally, the tank lands on the display at the museum and the player has to place info notes with interesting facts around the new showpiece. After that, one can start another assignment.

Just like in the previous installments of the series, you are put in command of Rainbow, a fictional special forces unit invented by the writer, during its various military operations all over the world. This time, the tasks you are challenged with include destroying a biological weapon storage facility and cracking down on a gang terrorizing a bank in the heart of London. Gameplay mechanics are very similar to the proven solutions that have been used throughout the series, emphasizing tactical planning. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield offers some additional weapons and useful gadgets, as well as improved AI (of both enemies and your squad members). The biggest innovation, however, is the more advanced 3D graphics engine that had also been used in Unreal II.

The other game mode is the fighting mode, in which you participate in duels on dedicated arenas. For the first time in the series, the game features QTE in some of the attacks. Moreover, lots of changes were introduced when it comes to combat mechanics and damage system. As this is the first game in the series to be released on the eight generation consoles, the visuals have seen a significant upgrade. Created with cel-shading technique, the artwork closely resembles the anime.

The next installment in a strategy game franchise from Creative Assembly. The game is set in the period of years 1080-1503, once again taking the players into the Medieval period. The developers did their best to faithfully recreate the epoch, including economy, trade, and political relations. Players can choose from 21 playable nations that differ in more than appearance, but also preferring various combat tactics. The story campaign lets you expand across Europe, Middle East, as well as South and Latin America. As always, gameplay consists of two layers – turn-based, in which you manage your kingdom, and real-time, where the battles are fought. As compared with the previous games in the series, this one offers extended tactical options, including e.g. new siege weapons and heavy artillery. Furthermore, the visuals, as well as animations and the destruction model, were significantly improved.

A game developed by the creators of Mercenaries. The title takes place in Paris occupied by the Nazis during the World War II. In Saboteur the player assumes the role of an Irish man named Sean who begins a guerilla war against the occupant. The gameplay consists mostly of sabotaging German plans and structures, which awakens the will to fight in other citizens. The player must silently eliminate important persons, blow up military transports and kill many regular soldiers. While in the area controlled by the enemy, the action is shown using only black and white colors, like in the movie Schindler’s List – the locations are filled with sadness and emptiness. Freeing regions from the iron grip of the Germans radically changes the atmosphere into one filled with colors and happiness. Sean can fight not only with his fists, but is also capable of using guns, climbing on rooftops and driving various vehicles: bikes, cars, boats and even airplanes. The world of Saboteur is large and open and in the virtual Paris the player can find many characteristic buildings, including the Eiffel Tower.

The players can assume the role of Umbrella Security Services (USS) agents and look at the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis from their perspective. The gameplay was designed mainly to support the cooperation mode, for up to four players, in which participants join forces to destroy the remains of the failed experiments with the t-Virus. The game features numerous characters of the Resident Evil series; some of them are also present in the multiplayer mode.

The third installment in the popular third-person stealth action game series starring special agent Sam Fisher. The game is set in the near future, where a conflict between North Korea and Japan escalates, unintentionally fanned by the United States. This is when our unfailing protagonist steps into action. His task is to reconcile the interests of all countries involved in the conflict. When compared with previous installments in the series, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory offers a great deal of changes, both in visuals and mechanics. Individual missions are of non-linear structure and you can reach your goal in several different ways, while completing optional objectives along the way. It is also noteworthy that the character can make use of new moves, attacks, and combat techniques, as well as new types of gadgets and weapons. Moreover, there is no shortage of multiplayer modes, starting with the online co-op mode.

An unconventional action game developed by the American iNKstories studio, focused on The Iranian Revolution - the events of 1979 that led to the overthrow of the dictatorial regime of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in Iran. 1979 Revolution is set in an open-world environment, reminiscent of subsequent installments in the Grand Theft Auto series. During the game we are given a chance to play as several independent characters, and it was the intention of the developer to present historical events from several contrasting points of view and to show moral controversy concerning the ongoing revolution. Depending on which character we control at the moment, the game features slightly different mechanics. This is due to the fact that some protagonists led by us specialize in combat, while others have to rely on negotiation skills, stealth, or even trade.

The virus kills its victims in 7 days, as the title suggests, and turns them into bloodthirsty zombies. You play as one of the few not infected people, fighting for survival in Navezgane County, Arizona. 7 Days to Die allows you to freely explore its open world, adjusting the story to your actions. To help you survive in this hostile environment, the game introduces a well-developed crafting system that lets you gather food and resources to make useful tools and fix or upgrade your hideouts. The authors prepared a campaign for solo players, as well as a score of online modes, both competitive and cooperative.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic constantly puts you up against choices between the dark and light side of the Force – these decisions will impact the way the story unfolds.

The described expansion offers eight complex and dangerous missions that are entrusted to a small group of commandos, made up from soldiers with different abilities. Our team receives completely new tasks, such as capturing enemy soldiers, destroying artillery emplacements, or sabotaging a prototype plane. Each hero has a set of useful abilities, with sniper fire or distracting enemies with cigarettes being only the tip of the iceberg. The unit receives some help from the locals: a woman from Dutch resistance, and a Yugoslavian major. Additionally, Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty expands the core game with new buildings, vehicles, and weapons.
