The main and only objective of the game is to survive on an island the size of more than a dozen of square kilometers. Depending on the selected creature, the player must hunt for smaller dinosaurs, hide in bushes from predators etc. In addition to getting food, one must also remember to drink water that might not be easy to find. During the game the player can join other users on the server, create herds and set up ambushes for other beasts. It is also possible to create nests and raise offspring – player’s friends can assume their role. The Isle features high quality three-dimensional graphics. The dinosaurs are well recreated and the island features varied areas.

Lists of available units, weapons and spells were increased and the fights now take place not only on land, but on sea as well. Thanks to the improved SAGE engine, graphics of the game were enhanced, as were the looks and number of units appearing simultaneously on the screen.

Similar to the core game, the story of the expansion is set in Liberty City. This time, the player assumes the role of Johnny Klebitz, the leader of a biker gang known as The Lost. Apart from having to deal with a competitive group known as Angels of Death, the protagonist has to deal with internal power struggle and the insane former boss of The Lost. The player's base of operations is the hideout of the gang, where key figures can be met, and different mini-games can be played. The essence of the gameplay comes with the story missions however, the completion of which in most cases requires the player to reach a designated location, exchange fire with enemies or chase them in a spectacular fashion. As a biker gang leader, Johnny rides a bike for the most part, and he is often accompanied by other members of The Lost. Additionally, the expansion features several new vehicles, weapons, radio stations and multiplayer modes.

A first-person science fiction horror action game heavily inspired by the works of H.R. Giger, the creator of the xenomorph from the Alien franchise. Scorn takes the players to an unreal world that balances on the verge of dream and reality. It consists of several open locations joined together, built almost exclusively from organic material; each one is characterized by different style and a unique set of logic puzzles. Careful exploration is a very important element of the gameplay, since every thing we accidentally miss can completely change the further course of the game. As we progress, our character masters new skills and finds numerous useful items and weapons. Combat is not the main focus of the gameplay, though, for not every character we encounter is hostile towards us. The main highlight of Scorn is a dense atmosphere of constant anxiety. The production is powered by Unreal Engine 4, and, apart from realistic graphics, features a minimalistic interface which empowers immersion.

A sequel to the cooperative online shooter - Killing Floor - which came out in 2009 as a commercial version of a standalone Unreal Tournament 2004 modification. The sequel was prepared by the creators of the original – Tripwire Interactive, also known for another popular game modification, Red Orchestra. Just as its predecessor, the game features a negligible story, instead focusing on combat between a team of elite soldiers and hordes of mutants created in a series of experiments carried out by a medical corporation. Gameplay focuses on fighting off waves of enemies that precede a boss fight on the end of a round. After each round the team of players can regroup, repair damaged barricades, and spend money earned in combat on new weapons and ammo. Advancing to higher levels unlocks useful character abilities. This new game exceeds the last one in terms of graphics and features a realistic physics engine.

From the technical side, the game catches the eye with well-polished graphics and advanced damage system, which impacts not only how the cars look but also how they behave. You can race alone, competing against AI, or take part in one of many crazy multiplayer modes.

The combat, observed from the top view, takes place on battlefields covered in hexagon grid. The turn-based combat system allows you to come up with devious tactics. In terms of game mechanics, Assault Squad does not stray far from the formula of the base game - the player fights in various places the Second World War left its mark on, taking control over American, Soviet and German, as well as previously unavailable British and Japanese squads. Contrary to the base game, the expansion focuses mainly on multiplayer experience, offering four modes, namely the Frontlines, Combat, Assault Zones and Skirmish. For those preferring single-player games, the creators prepared fifteen missions to be played in the Skirmish mode - one can compete against their friends or bots and their goal is to take over the outposts scattered throughout the map. Men of War: Assault Squad utilizes an improved version of the engine used by the core game, which had a positive effect mainly on the visuals and vehicle models, making them look more realistic.

Lord of Destruction is the first official expansion pack for Diablo II. It was developed by Blizzard North. The expansion allows the players to fight with the third Prime Evil, Baal, who gathered an army of demons and besieges the Harrogath fortress, which is located at the base of Mount Arreat. The titular Lord of Destruction tries to find the legendary Worldstone. Our job is to stop him before he manages to do so. Along with the new storyline, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction introduces two no classes, Assassin and Druid. The expansion also comes with new weapons and armors, new Horadric Cube combinations, and with items that have a chance of casting a spell when being used. Our item inventory has increased in capacity and we can change the game's resolution from VGA (640x480) to SVGA (800x600). Lord of Destruction's soundtrack was composed, like in the base game, by Matt Uelmen.

The continuation of the multiplayer FPS with strategy elements, being a continuation of the legendary Quake’s freeware modification from 1996. After Valve Corporation bought the title, subsequent versions of the game were powered by Half-Life’s engine, while TF 2 utilizes the modern Source engine. To some extent, mechanics resemble those in the original Team Fortress, which means completing subsequent missions, despite the other team's efforts to prevent that. There are 9 well-balanced classes which feature unique abilities. Cooperation – the key to success – consists in the skillful use of character abilities that supplement each other. The most characteristic element of the game are the exaggerated heroes and humorous visuals that go against the hyper-realism trend, employing the style of an animated movie.

A real time strategy developed by the Ukrainian developer Best Way and the German team at Digitalmindsoft. The action of the game takes place during World War II, offering three story campaigns enabling us to see the conflict from three sides: German, Soviet, and Allied, while the main emphasis is put on the Soviet campaign, telling a story of two Russian students that enrolled in the army. The ferocious battles led to the creation of a powerful bond linking both heroes. In Men of War, the player receives access to over 50 types of units, deployed around the battlefields in Greece, Northern Africa, Germany, as well as Italy and Ukraine. Completing all three campaigns unlocks additional five missions. Moreover, the game received major upgrades to multiplayer mode – a new nation, Japan, as well as new multiplayer modes in the form of capture the flag and high-value cargo, while our actions are constantly registered by a system of grades and statistics. Men of War is characteristic for its detailed graphics and high-quality sound effects.
