The game features some unusual mechanics, most notably the possibility to climb vertical walls. Celeste can also use short-distance teleportation and go through wormholes. The production features a high level of difficulty and 2D visuals based on classic 16-bit games.

An expansion to XCOM 2 developed by Firaxis Games. Its story focuses on the titular Chosen – a new type of agents working for ADVENT, who try to capture the leader of the XCOM group. To achieve this, those merciless specialists kidnap his followers and torture them to gather valuable information. They are so effective that they can even affect the strategic layer and destroy our global operations. XCOM 2: War of the Chosen introduces three rebel factions (Reapers, Skirmishers, and Templars), with which we must keep good relationships if we hope to gain their assistance. Aliens also received reinforcements, with three more deadly species in their ranks. Additionally, ruins of long gone metropolises are inhabited by the Lost, consisting of mutated humans who hate both us and ADVENT. Thanks to this expansion, the campaign has been expanded with new locations and objectives. There are also additional abilities for the soldier class and a newly introduced SITREP system, which randomizes some parts of missions to bring more variety to the game. The list of novelties is closed with a special challenge mode, in which the players engage in tasks given by creators themselves.

This Land is My Land is an action stealth game developed by Game-Labs. The title takes you to the Wild West, and puts you in the shoes of an native American warrior, who is struggling to protect the land of his ancestors from an invasion of the European colonizers. In the game you observe the action from behind the hero’s back as you roam across its open world. Each mission can be completed in multiple different ways, but most of them require guile and stealth. That’s because the opponents are much more numerous and better equipped than the player, hence, direct confrontations usually end with the hero’s untimely death. At the same time, the gameplay is very dynamic. The player’s successes and failures have impact on how cities develop and how the colonization proceeds. Besides, many of the game’s elements, such as camp locations or guards’ patrol routes, are set randomly, which makes each challenge unpredictable.

A standalone expansion for the 2013’s well-received survival sandbox game, Don’t Starve. The main goal of the add-on is to transfer the core premise of the original title into cooperative multiplayer gameplay. The primary novelty is the possibility of interacting with other players who can turn out to be either precious friends or deadly foes. Don’t Starve Together allows us to play both with our friends and with complete strangers. Another appeal of the expansion is the fact that it comes with the previously released DLC, Reign of Giants, which expands the original title with new bioms, enemies, and a full year cycle. The production can be obtained free of charge by all owners of the vanilla game.

Two of them have already been available as DLC packs. The third scenario, entitled Infinites, has been created specially for this edition and features an alternative ending of the original story. In it, the protagonist defeats his master and takes his place beside the Emperor himself, and his final task is to defeat the remaining Jedi Knights, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker.

The action of StarCraft: Brood War takes place after the events of the base game. Even though the Overmind has been destroyed, the Zerg still pose a threat, and a new danger emerges. The central character of the expansion, around whom most of the story revolves, is Sarah Kerrigan – a Terran infected by the Zerg. She became the most powerful Overmind – the Zerg Queen. The expansion offers three campaigns, one for each races – the Terrans, the Protoss, and the Zerg. All races received a few new units and modifications. Brood War introduces additional types of terrain – twilight, ice, and desert – making levels more diverse. Moreover, the expansion enriches multiplayer with 150 new levels.

A real-time strategy game developed by Best Way. The action of the game takes place in the World War II Europe, while the player assumes the role of a commander of a group of soldiers. Our job is to get through 25 varied missions, in which we control infantry and as mechanized units. The game is characteristic for its original mechanic that enables the player to take direct control over a given unit – a well-aimed shot can disable a tank by tearing its tracks, while soldiers can be hurt or killed through efficient aiming. Soldiers: Heroes of World War II also employs advanced AI modules (the soldiers can scour the area, or encircle the enemy), and detailed 3D graphics, as well as destructible environments.
