An extraordinary point-and-click adventure game and a spiritual successor to the legendary The Neverhood, a game developed in 1996 by Doug TenNapel. This new title was created by the author of the original game, who managed to gather nearly entire old staff back together for this project. The story tells of the adventures of a likeable alien named Tommynaut, who survives a spacecraft crash and finds himself on a strange planet, where together with his companion, dog Beak-Beak, the hero gets captured and locked in the titular stronghold of Armikrog. What distinguishes the game, is its unique artwork – in-game locations and character models were made of plasticine and brought to life using time-lapse technique. This time-consuming work was done by a number of puppeteers, animators, and sculptors. Thanks to their work, the developers managed to recreate the unique atmosphere of the original game, which, apart from interesting story and a cast of likeable characters, offered a large doze of wacky humor.

An enhanced version of Mount & Blade that takes the mechanics of the sandbox RPG by TaleWorlds into the reality of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, clearly drawing inspiration from the famous novel by Henryk Sienkiewicz. The gameplay still combines elements of action, strategy and role-playing games and is divided into two parts, so to say. The world is managed via a strategic map, and we can take action in either first- or third-person mode when necessary. Compared to the vanilla game, Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword offers slightly improved graphics and AI of the enemy soldiers as well as several minor enhancements, including a myriad of previously unavailable quests. However, the biggest novelty is the introduction of a multiplayer mode which offers the possibility of fighting battles with our friends, thus making the game continue even after completing the story campaign.

Another installment in the popular series of economy strategy games developed cooperatively by Related Designs, the creators of the franchise, and the legendary Blue Byte studio under the watchful eye of Ubisoft. The fifth entry in the series, contrary to the previous ones, takes the players to the future, to the eponymous year of 2070, when climatic changes drastically raised water levels around the world, forcing humankind to move to higher ground. The gameplay mechanics use a number of characteristic solutions of the series but not without several novelties. A grand ship, called the Ark, is our base of operations that can be upgraded with each completed mission. There are three different factions to choose from, each possessing a different development tree. The first one offers advanced industry and aggressive expansion possibilities, the second focuses primarily on environmental protection, while the third one emphasizes modern technologies. The available game modes include a classical single player campaign, continuous mode as well as co-op and competitive multiplayer modes.

The third installment in a tactical action game series that originates back to 1998 and is based on Tom Clancy’s novels. Just like in the previous installments of the series, you are put in command of Rainbow, a fictional special forces unit invented by the writer, during its various military operations all over the world. This time, the tasks you are challenged with include destroying a biological weapon storage facility and cracking down on a gang terrorizing a bank in the heart of London. Gameplay mechanics are very similar to the proven solutions that have been used throughout the series, emphasizing tactical planning. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield offers some additional weapons and useful gadgets, as well as improved AI (of both enemies and your squad members). The biggest innovation, however, is the more advanced 3D graphics engine that had also been used in Unreal II.

In that realm, she discovers a mysterious power in herself, which allows her to transform into a magic warrior. Along with her friends, possessing similar abilities, she fights the threats coming from the other reality.

An expansion to XCOM 2 developed by Firaxis Games. Its story focuses on the titular Chosen – a new type of agents working for ADVENT, who try to capture the leader of the XCOM group. To achieve this, those merciless specialists kidnap his followers and torture them to gather valuable information. They are so effective that they can even affect the strategic layer and destroy our global operations. XCOM 2: War of the Chosen introduces three rebel factions (Reapers, Skirmishers, and Templars), with which we must keep good relationships if we hope to gain their assistance. Aliens also received reinforcements, with three more deadly species in their ranks. Additionally, ruins of long gone metropolises are inhabited by the Lost, consisting of mutated humans who hate both us and ADVENT. Thanks to this expansion, the campaign has been expanded with new locations and objectives. There are also additional abilities for the soldier class and a newly introduced SITREP system, which randomizes some parts of missions to bring more variety to the game. The list of novelties is closed with a special challenge mode, in which the players engage in tasks given by creators themselves.
