The fourth major installment of the legendary strategy game series which dates back to 1995. It was created by the Los Angeles division of EA that has been developing the series for a few years now. The game continues the storyline of its predecessors and focuses on the desperate struggle between GDI and Nod to stop the spread of Tiberium which threatens the planet with absolute sterilization. There are two separate campaigns at the player’s disposal, both combining typical solutions of the series with a number of innovations introduced to the gameplay mechanics. The game lacks raw material mining and features division into classes. Instead of stationary bases, we make use of mobile ones in the form of giant walking machines, the so-called crawlers. Similarly to Red Alert 3, the campaign can be played either solo or in cooperation, while multiplayer allows up to 10 players to play together.

This time the titular protagonist and his friend Globox must face nightmares which have created amazing worlds during the 100 years they have spent in the Crossroads of Dreams. Rayman must also free the Teensies captured by the clone of the deceptive Magician. Gameplay mechanics and the visual style of Rayman Legends are similar to the mechanics and style of the previous Rayman game (Rayman Origins). The new features in the game include musical levels and a system that allows other players to freely join the game in split-screen cooperation mode.

He sets out on a dangerous journey together with his faithful friend, Fidget, to free his village from the rule of mysterious monsters and learn about his past. The gameplay focuses on combo-based combat. As we progress, the protagonist learns new skills and develops his attributes; he may also acquire new equipment. The title offers a semi-open world with a number of side quests. The production features incredibly colorful, hand-drawn graphics and spectacular special effects in combat.

A classic science-fiction real-time strategy game inspired by the golden age of RTS and titles from the 90s. The story takes place in the distant future on one of the human colonies called Ecosystem Nine. Three warring factions compete for control over the planet: humans, space refugees (Betas), and the eponymous nanobots known as Goo. Naturally, each side of the conflict has their own units, buildings, and technologies. The gameplay combines the mechanics of the RTS classics with modern graphics and refurbished interface. It focuses on resource gathering, base development, and challenging tactical combat. At the same time, the developers dropped the necessity of controlling every single unit, so the players can concentrate on managing the larger picture of the battlefield.

The gameplay mechanics corresponds with previous games in the series, letting you climb up the ladder of a professional driving career and drive a whole range of licensed sport cars, dedicated racing or concept cars. The competition has a different form here, as individual players represent their home countries or favorite car manufacturers. The game features more realistic driving model, as well as noticeably better graphics. It also supports the PlayStation VR headset.

A turn-based strategy game set in a science fiction universe, and a debut project from Tetragon Works. Phantom Brigade throws you into a country that gets attacked and overrun by another nation. You play as a leader of the resistance, trying to reclaim his homeland from the invaders' hands. Most of the in-game time is spent on giving orders to a small squads of mechs, performing all sorts of missions. Phantom Brigade’s campaign is very dynamic. On the world’s map you can select which targets or territories to attack next, while taking under consideration the fact that resources that you gain or lose have direct impact on how the entire conflict enfolds. Each mech under your command can be upgraded and customized, thus increasing its combat effectiveness. However, even the most powerful mech is useless without a pilot, therefore, a key to success is protecting your men from taking damage, while forcing enemy pilots to leave their machines.

A remastered version of the second installment in the Dead Island series, originally launched in 2011 by the Polish studio Techland. The game picks up after the events of its predecessor. While going back home, the four protagonists had to land on a military ship which soon after became a zombie-infested hell. Eventually, we end up on the entirely new island, Palanai, where we have to fight for survival. As far as gameplay is concerned, the title is practically identical to the 2013’s original. However, compared to it, Dead Island: Riptide – Definitive Edition offers remastered visuals with high-quality textures as well as improved lighting effects and character models. The game also introduces a reworked user interface, a number of technical fixes, and all DLCs released after the launch of the original. The game is available separately or as a part of Dead Island: Definitive Collection.

The action of Door Kickers 2: Task Force North takes the players to the Middle East, where the player-controlled squad, comprising representatives of many special forces, follows the trace of a dangerous terrorist organization. One observes the action from a top-down perspective and experiences all the events in real time with the option to utilize the active pause system. Like the first installment, the game has been divided into two parts - equally important to carrying out a mission is proper preparation, which includes selecting units with adequate skills and dispatching them properly across the map. The creators introduced many improvements and novelties that make the whole experience even more realistic. Among these, one can find new pieces of gear, the option to operate under the cover of night, jumping through windows, and the new mechanics allowing one to group his units.

WWE 2K17 expands the mechanics used in the previous entry in the franchise. The developers decided to recreate the fights between real wrestlers from WWE and NXT federations in as realistic way as possible. Among the playable characters there are both real stars and promising beginners. Traditionally, there are also a few legends of this popular sport that once were triumphant on the wrestling arenas. As for the mechanics, the title offers even more realistic combat system that enables the player not only to deal hits, but to knock an opponent over, throw him or use various objects during the fights as well.

The player assumes the role of a man who decides to abandon the physical world along with his family through the digitalization of human consciousness and settle in a utopian, virtual environment known as City 5. Unfortunately however, something goes wrong when the data transfer is being made and the player's task is to help the protagonist to finish the transfer and rejoin his family. In terms of the mechanics, State of Mind is a typical adventure game requiring the player to explore the in-game environments, talk to other characters, collect items and solve puzzles. The player takes on the roles of several different characters undergoing mutual interactions.

A complete edition of a survival sandbox action game from Undead Labs, now remastered for Xbox One. The game takes you back to the zombie-infested world, where – apart from staying alive – you have to build a local community of survivors using their unique skills and resources gathered around. State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition features open world as well as full freedom of pursuing your goals. The game puts you up against such challenges as rescue missions or search missions. For State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition the developers primarily focused on enhancing the visuals, which means better textures, animations and special effects. Also, they slightly changed the User Interface. The original game was expanded with the contents of two previously released DLC packs: Breakdown and Lifeline. On top of that, there are brand new missions, weapons and vehicles as well as about 30 minutes of new music composed by Jesper Kyd.

An online sailing simulator developed by the Ukrainian developer, Game-Labs, whose members worked previously on the STALKER and Total War series. The action of the game is set between the sixteenth and the eighteenth century - a period within the so-called Age of Sail. The gameplay focuses on the exploration of the enormous game world, where the players can trade, take assignments, and participate in realistic sea battles. The game features faithfully recreated weapons from the period, including various types of cannons, mortars, and carronades. One of the game's characteristic, and very realistic, features is the ship handling, as the player can control each sail separately and the crew management is also rather complex. The visuals are powered by the Unity engine, which makes the game look better than one could expect. Also, the creators' dedication to recreate the ships as authentic as possible deserves praise.

A stand-alone expansion for the strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War developed by Relic Entertainment. The basic novelty introduced in Dark Crusade expansion are the two new factions. The first one are the humanoid robots known as Necron. They are a faction of undead killing machines. The second new faction is the Tau Empire. They are technologically advanced and have remarkable skills in diplomacy. The game takes place on a desert planet named Kronus, which sparks also the interest of other factions known from previous installments of the series (there are seven factions in total). In the campaign mode the player must conquer 25 provinces of the planet. The developers decided not to create a typical, lineal story (except for a few key moments), instead giving the players complete freedom in conquering the whole area. A modified character development system is one of the novelties introduced by the expansion – the faction leader can buy better equipment and skills with special points obtained during the game.

A new installment of the popular series from Pyro Studios, in which we take control of a unit of specially trained soldiers, sent to complete various tasks that help turn the tide of World War II. While developing Commandos: Strike Force, Pyro Studios decided to try a somewhat different approach, ending with a tactical action game seen from a first-person perspective instead of a classical tactical strategy game that the series has accustomed us to. This time, we assume control of a trio of characters, i.e. a green beret, a sniper, and a spy, with each of them having their own, distinctive set of abilities. The key to success is to observe your surroundings and a use each hero’s abilities in the right way. We are left with a number of varied tasks, taking place in Soviet Union, Norway, and France, and allowing the player a freedom of choosing a right approach to the task.

Command & Conquer (1995) is a legendary RTS, developed by an experienced American studio, Westwood – the people behind such classics as Eye of the Beholder, The Legend of Kyrandia or the worshiped Dune II. The action of this game takes place in the near future, where two factions – a terrorist organization, Brotherhood of Nod, and Global Defense Initiative – are fighting for influence. The stakes are high – global peace, and control over an invaluable resource – Tiberium. Each faction has its own set of buildings and units, among which there are infantry units, APCs, heavy tanks, fighter jets, or hovercrafts. The mechanics are based on Dune II, although the tactical layer and the AI have been significantly improved. The game is complimented by cinematic cut scenes, which comprise a 40-minute FMV. And let’s not forget about the multiplayer.
