One of the many installments in the series of dance/party games released annually by Ubisoft. Similarly to what the players may know from previous editions, your task is to follow the choreographies performed by colorful characters dancing on the screen. The more accurately you repeat their moves, the higher the score you get. Just Dance 2018 offers several dozen pop songs, both classic hits and new releases. That latter category includes: Clean Bandit ft.Sean Paul & Anne-Marie – Rockabye, Bruno Mars – 24K Magic, Ariana Grande ft. Nicki Minaj – Side to Side, Bebe Rexha ft. A special version of Fallout 4 developed by Bethesda Softworks with VR headsets in mind. Content-wise, the game doesn’t significantly deviate from the original, although the systems of combat, crafting, and building were altered in order to work with VR devices. The title is still an extensive RPG that takes us to an open post-apocalyptic world. Apart from the main storyline, there is a number of side missions for the player to perform – the developers’ intention was to offer absolute freedom so it is only up to the players where they decide to go and how their actions influence the course of the story. Aside from characteristic features of the series, such as the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. character attribute system and the V.A.T.S. aiming system, Fallout 4 VR offers extensive crafting options that let us not only create and enhance various furnishings but also to construct buildings that serve as shelters for the protagonist and his/her companions.

Jump Stars is a multiplayer party game for two to four players developed by a small independent studio Jamit Games. The game allows us to take part in a crazy TV game show where weird, square creatures compete against each other in various games for fame, money, and freedom. Their rules are rather simple. We will have to, for example, avoid lasers, spiked barrels, climb up on platforms in order to avoid lava, or fight against each other on a small arena. Gameplay utilizes elements of competitive and coop multiplayer. Players have to cooperate in order to defeat some of the obstacles, but, in the end, there can be only one winner. The game has two primary game modes: Tournament, where we take part in a tournament made of four randomly selected competitions, and My Show, where we can choose in which games we want take part. Jump Stars is a simple and fun game with minimalistic, cartoonish visuals.

A strategy game enriched with elements of life simulation and survival, created by T4 Interactive - a Brazilian developer. The player assumes control of a group of settlers called Lings - taking on the role of a manager of a newly created village, the player has to make sure it develops properly, and cater for their subordinates (providing them with housing, clothing, food and income sources). The action takes place on diverse maps and the core of the experience is constituted by gathering resources and constructing buildings - one should also remember, that it is important to create roads, as they make communication more effective, allow the inhabitants to move faster, as well as improve the entire production processes. However, an important part is also played here by the game's complex crafting system, as the player can create over 150 items. The player's subordinates have their own preferences and fall into different moods; arguments caused by poor mood often turn into larger rifts. Additional threats are posed by aggressive fantasy creatures and intense changing weather conditions. If the player fails at sustaining their village, they can sell it at any time and start over.

The Mummy Demastered is a metroidvania game developed by WayForward Technologies. The game is based on the license of the 2017 film The Mummy. We play as the agent of Prodigium, an organization that tries to stop the undead army summoned by the Egyptian princess Ahmanet, the titular mummy. Gameplay focuses on going right, shooting our enemies, and avoiding traps and other threats. As we play, we will explore dark forests, military bases, and streets of London covered in sand. In combat, we use a wide range of firearms. Along with your typical, weaker monsters we will have to defeat powerful bosses from time to time. The Mummy Demastered features old-school, pixel-art visuals.

Developed by an indie developer David O’Reilly, Everything generates worlds, which you can watch from any perspective you like. Each universe can be observed in both micro and macro scale. You start playing in a particular place of a procedurally generated world, but the rest is completely up to you – you are free to take control of a single atom, animal, or object, and focus on its immediate whereabouts, or control an entire planet, star or even galaxy. The gameplay has no specific goal – what you do and why you do it is your choice. As you jump between different elements of the universe you create its encyclopedia – objects that you discover are catalogued, after which you can view them in a special menu. All that is complemented by decent graphics and atmospheric soundtrack as well as lectures of the philosopher Alan Watts. Interestingly, Everything is the first video game in history nominated for Oscar in the Best Animated Short Film thanks to its several-minute trailer – that film had also won jury’s award at Vienna Shorts Festival.

Developed by the independent studio Boen Saw, Fight Knight is an action game which casts the player in the role of a knight who is trying to reach the last floor of a magic tower filled with traps and enemies. The game constitutes a mixture of genres, for it combines various old-school mechanics in order to construct an experience that feels fresh. Exploration resembles dungeon crawlers from the 80s and the first half of the 90s. The game is played from the first-person view, the character always turns exactly 90 degrees, and movement is divided into steps. Combat on the other hand, was inspired by fighting games and is purely arcade. When the player encounters an enemy, the game switches to combat mode, which makes the player center on the enemy and allows them to launch various attacks as well as block and dodge enemy blows. As the player progresses through the game, the protagonist gathers new artifacts which give them access to more and more powerful special techniques. The experience is diversified with occasional puzzle solving, as well as encounters with powerful bosses.

A 2D action-adventure game with pixel-art visuals, inspired by a subgenre known as metroidvania. Developed by the American Aloft Studio, Hazelnut Bastille is an attempt to recreate the best features of 2D games released in the 90s for SNES. The creators brought both an adequate visual style and a fitting soundtrack, but they also limited the aspect ratio to 4:3 for example. The story revolves around adventures of a young woman who searches for a treasure she lost, and tries to discover the secrets left by the mysterious Ancients in this foreign land at the world's end. The path of the protagonist leads through countless chambers of old dungeons and mazes where traps and puzzles are waiting for the player in large numbers - those were constructed by the Ancients themselves. The locations are also filled with unfriendly creatures, such as fire-breathing frogs, levitating jellyfish making use of electric power, or huge, armored worms. From time to time, the player encounters powerful bosses with special kinds of attacks and unique weak spots. In combat, the player uses mainly a dagger known as Dawnthorn, which can also revive beings. Apart from that, one will be using a crossbow that can launch multiple bolts simultaneously, as well as bombs with timers. Additionally, a special device allows the player to place energy barriers - those can prevent objects from moving, redirect light and conduct electricity. The barriers are useful both while solving puzzles and fighting, as they can serve the role of a temporary cover.

You also need to remember to protect your land, conquer nearby locations, and join alliances. Battle Skylands allows you to play in the multiplayer mode and join clans, which allows you to gain support from others during a real-time fight. The game utilizes a free-to-play model with microtransactions that speed up some actions.

The player assumes control over a group of heroes who set off on an adventure to stop the threat and restore order across the world. The gameplay is based on the mechanics known from the first installment and builds on exploration of vast maps and fighting numerous foes. The battles feature a turn-based system; however, the players are given a wider range of battle strategies and tactical options, including the ability to choose a battle formation before the fight. The entire experience is well complemented by the character progress mechanics known from the first installment, based on a profession system.

Set in the Forced universe, a simplified real-time strategy with card game elements. The title by Danish BetaDwarf Entertainment features quick multiplayer battles, in which you battle the enemy with loads of units and try to defeat their main character. By drawing cards from a customized deck, you place units – mobile ones, along with defensive and production structures - on a small battlefield and observe the outcome. In contrast to other real-time strategies, you do not give commands. Once deployed somewhere on the map, the units fight on their own. Your army, which is the deck of cards, can be customized between clashes. The choice concerning the Minion Master – the main hero whose death in combat means defeat – is up to the player. During combat, Minion Master stands on a pedestal at the edge of the map and shoots enemy units charging at them. With the progress, a Minion Master gathers experience points that can unlock their special traits and abilities. Apart from regular online battles, the title offers Draft Mode in which you can use decks composed of random cards, and Solo Challenges – a single-player game mode.

Carmageddon: Crashers is different from the core installments in the series. Instead of classic races we get an unusual variation on drag racing. In this case, cars start from the opposite sides of the track and rush their way forward until they run into each other. The speed and stats of the cars determine which one wins the crash. As a game, Carmageddon: Crashers is not too different from other representatives of the drag race genre – the player is unable to turn, as the control over the car is limited to shifting gears at the right time and only slightly adjusting the course. Carmageddon: Crashers offers a wide range of cars that can be modified to a large extent by installing better parts and changing the look of the machine. Another important feature is the sponsorship mechanics.

A tactical RPG. Valiant Tactics features turn-based gameplay taking place on hexagonal maps. The fights are devoid of the randomness factor, as specific attacks always hit the target and deal preset amount of damage. The story of the game takes place in a fantasy universe and we can control a small group of characters who reset between sessions.
