Similarly to the original, the combat combines elements of classic arcade shooters with strategic aspects that involve commanding our subordinates and progressive fleet development. The sequel is powered by a fully three-dimensional graphics engine and features a multiplayer mode that lets us compete against other players or join forces to fight the artificial intelligence together.

Life Goes On is a humorous platformer game by the independent studio Infinite Monkeys. The player assumes control of a group of brave knights who set out to seek the mythical Cup of Life. While the mission is anything but safe, the valiant warriors are willing to give their lives in order to help their successors. The goal is to bring a knight to the end of a level where a prize awaits. Before that, however, you have to overcome a number of deadly traps. In many cases, to launch a mechanism or to get pass an obstacle, the player has to sacrifice a knight whose place is taken by a new daredevil with a funny randomly generated nickname. In total, the developers of Life Goes On created 50 levels of increasingly difficult puzzles.

These statistics affect the set of tricks that are at our disposal, including less honorable actions such as sowing rumors or sending fake letters. The players meet in numbers on various balls and dinners that take a number of different courses, stressing social skills, propriety, as well as caution – the interactions have to be measured according to their success which is determined by the skill level and the happiness of the given player. A space sandbox from a group of developers known for the arcade racing game called Pressure. Cosmonautica allows us to become a captain of a spaceship, his objective being to build a small trading company. The player can explore the galaxy, comprised of randomly generated star systems, and search for various goods that are capable of bringing a profit. During our visits in spaceports, we can take up tasks that may end up in a fight. Management of the ship and its crew is an important aspect of the game – the vessel requires constant refuels, repairs, and modifications to stay competitive, while our crew has to be taken care of, and assigned to various tasks, all while making sure that the individual crew members want to cooperate with each other. Aside from the sandbox mode, the game contains the ability to create and take part in single scenarios. Cosmonautica is characterized by simple cartoonish visuals.

The game was developed by an indie studio called Archive Entertainment, under the direction of Robby Zinchak, and it took 12 years to complete it. The game gives the players almost complete freedom. After creating our character only we can decide what we want to do and what will happen to us – those choices are not only regarding the content that was prepared by the developers. This is because the players can create their own missions, build castles, establish cities and design dungeons. They can also organize PvP and PvE arenas. What is more, the players can even flood the world with hordes of undead. To ensure that there won't be too much chaos on the maps, the game's servers have space for up to 250 people. Those maps were created using Google Maps technology. When it comes to graphics the developers took us back to 8-bit era.

An unusual platform game and the first production by Pinxelnauts, a studio which used to create visual elements for other developers. You play as a lone astronaut called Harrison, whose ship malfunctions badly. Harrison leaves the ship and has to continue his journey on his own. He has to face many dangers, such as a previously unknown civilization. Lost Orbit can be called a vertical platformer, since you move toward the top of the screen. You move mostly by using the gravitational forces of the planetoids you pass by, which makes your character shooting like a bullet in the chosen direction. Harrison can use a jetpack, although he hasn't got much fuel, which restricts its use mostly to correcting his trajectory.

There are four open worlds to explore. An important aspect of Aderyn's Cradle is the crafting system allowing you to create healing and stamina potions. To craft them, you need to correctly combine the ingredients you find. You can use the hit-and-miss method, but there are also instructions you can obtain as you play. In combat, you can use a variety of weapons. The game features both a single player mode and a multiplayer mode.

When fighting hordes of enemies or powerful bosses, you usually use cold weapons and magic. You can choose and upgrade your equipment. To spice things up, you can also use the Targeted Destruction System, which allows you to cut off body parts of your enemies. Apart from the singleplayer mode, Toukiden: The Age of Demons also features a co-op mode for up to four players.
