This installment of the Jedi Knight video game series has been developed by Raven Software. The action of the game takes place 6 years after the events shown in the previous Jedi Knight game. The player gets the opportunity to become a student at the Jedi Academy led by Luke Skywalker and Kyle Katarn on Yavin IV. What is interesting, upon starting the game the player has to create his or her own character by choosing the race, sex, clothing and physical appearance. It is also up to the player to construct his or her own lightsaber, which immediately becomes the character’s primary weapon. This however, does not eliminate the opportunity to utilize in combat elements of more conventional arsenal, like blaster pistols and rifles. Despite the fact that the missions’ objectives do not deviate so much from the previous Jedi Knight installments, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy distinguishes itself from its predecessors through a non-linear campaign (player can complete missions at any order). On our adventure, we get to visit places like Tatooine or Hoth, and, simultaneously, acquire and develop numerous skills representing the light or the dark side of the Force. The path the player chooses not only does affect the last few quests, but it also has a significant impact on the ending of the game.

WildStar is an MMORPG set in a fantasy universe, blending elements of fantasy and science-fiction. WildStar is the debut production of an American studio called Carbine. The game was published by NCsoft (Guild Wars, Lineage). The events take place on a distant planet - Nexus, where the members of three different races - humans, aurins and granoks, are trying to solve a mystery of disappearance of the first inhabitants of the planet - the eldans. In contrast to other such games, here, the gameplay model stands out, since it allows a lot of freedom in play style and character development. Innovations also reached the combat mechanics, which enable, for example, dodging. The game has quite simple, yet pleasant 3D graphics in cartoonish stylistics.

An unconventional action game developed by the American iNKstories studio, focused on The Iranian Revolution - the events of 1979 that led to the overthrow of the dictatorial regime of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in Iran. 1979 Revolution is set in an open-world environment, reminiscent of subsequent installments in the Grand Theft Auto series. During the game we are given a chance to play as several independent characters, and it was the intention of the developer to present historical events from several contrasting points of view and to show moral controversy concerning the ongoing revolution. Depending on which character we control at the moment, the game features slightly different mechanics. This is due to the fact that some protagonists led by us specialize in combat, while others have to rely on negotiation skills, stealth, or even trade.

The third installment of a bestselling strategy game series introduced in 2001. After the previous titles which experimented with the game mechanics, the devs at Firefly studios decided to return to the roots. Therefore, the player’s task is the development of a medieval village, along with the titular stronghold and the system of fortifications which ensure the safety of its residents. Following the formula of the previous game, the gameplay was divided into military and economic parts. We can focus on the economical aspect, ensuring a steady supply of the necessary raw materials, providing jobs for our subjects in progress. We can also focus on the military aspect, expanding the army and participating in battles, involving different specialized units and heavy siege machines. Aside from the typical game modes, a completely new mode, called free building, was introduced. The new graphic engine offers an improved visual layer, and the ability to wage battles during the night.
