Raven's Cry is a pirate-themed action game featuring elements of sailing simulation. The initial developer team, Finnish studio Octane Games, was replaced by Reality Pump during development. The game's protagonist, Christopher Raven, is a man obsessed with a burning desire for bloody revenge on the pirates who murdered his parents many years ago. The dark plot of Raven's Cry is greatly influenced by the player’s choices. The production is a combination of a sandbox action game and a sailing simulator. During the game we get the opportunity to engage in dueling, using both pistols and melee weapons, explore the vast world, and even take command of a ship during spectacular naval battles.

The game lack a classic plotline, focusing instead on complete freedom. We can visit towns and settlements, hire more and more crewmembers, trade and gather equipment, and take on various tasks. The game also features fleet management as well as exciting naval and land battles. Compared to the original, Blood & Gold: Caribbean! introduces many novelties, including improved game mechanics and a multiplayer mode.

This time, we take part in the Battle of the Atlantic, choosing between German Kriegsmarine or Great Britain’s Royal Navy. The action is seen from the third-person perspective, while the battles are divided into movement and attack phases. The players are given more than 60 ships, as well as numerous air units. Atlantic Fleet consists of three single player modes: a dynamic campaign recreating a number of events from the years 1939 – 1945, a fictional campaign with 50 missions for each side of the conflict, as well as a single battle mode with over 30 historical assignments. The players are also treated to a hot-seat multiplayer mode. The game is characteristic for its high-quality 3D graphics that can satisfy mobile and PC users alike.

An action game set in the world of pirates. Created by Miroslaw Dymek, a legendary Polish game maker responsible for series such as Earth 21XX or Polanie. The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt lacks a main storyline driving the gameplay. The action takes place in an extensive, open-world environment recreating a large part of the Caribbean. The player controls a captain of a pirate ship, whose aim is to gain fame and riches at sea. The game consists of completing subsequent missions that focus mainly on combat and exploration. The player plunders cargo ships, pirate bases, forts, and harbors. Between the missions, the player can make improvements to their fleet, choosing from sixteen diversified classes of ships, upgraded alongside their progress in the game. In-game sailing features realistic mechanics, making it a great asset to the game - this element was based on the personal experiences of the creator, who is an avid sailor himself. The game has offers extended online features as well, allowing the players to create their own pirate clans.

Like its predecessor, The Pirate: Plague of the Dead takes the players to Caribbean islands, until recently under control of the pirate community. The main protagonist of the story is John Rackham, who is the only survivor of the slaughter orchestrated by the Grand Inquisitor. Seeking his revenge, John turned to voodoo practices in order to resurrect legendary pirates such as Anne Bonny, Charles Vane, or Blackbeard. Together with the pirates brought from the dead, the protagonist wants to deal with his archenemy once and for all. The Pirate: Plague of the Dead features a vast open world the player is free to explore with one of over a dozen available ships. On their journey, the player has to observe not only the wind direction and velocity, but also use this information to choose the appropriate type of sails. To top it all, the game delivers a dynamic day and night cycle as well as changing weather conditions. This installment in The Pirate series is fueled by campaign missions that lead the player through consecutive parts of the story. In between these missions, one can turn to other activities that fill the treasury allowing for expanding and improving the fleet controlled by the player. Gameplay revolves around naval battles, during which one can ram into the enemy vessels, shoot the cannons at particular parts of hostile ships, and utilize special combat abilities exhibited by the captains. The entire experience features high-quality visuals – one is bound to appreciate the well-polished ship models and water animations.

A MMO war game created by ICE Entertainment. The core of the gameplay are the naval battles for up to 32 players. The individual battles play out in real time, on more than 30 varied maps that are inspired by historical battles which took place during WWII. As a reward for victories, the players receive money that can be spent not only on upgrading the ships they own, but also to buy completely new vessels. In total, we can choose from 150 faithfully-recreated vessels, divided into six basic classes. Therefore, each side’s ranks are filled with destroyers, light or heavy cruisers, as well as dreadnoughts, air carriers, or even submarines. Steel Ocean includes different gameplay modes, from arcade modes in vein of MOBA games to realistic simulation modes. The key to success lies in adopting an appropriate strategy, depending on the location of the battle, environment, or weather conditions. The game is complemented by high-quality visuals, including polished ship models, changing weather conditions, and day-and-night cycle.

TransOcean 2: Rivals is a sequel to a strategy simulator – TransOceal: The Shipping Company - by Deck 13, released in 2014. The game picks up the plot where the last game left off. Players take the role of an owner of a seafaring company, who returns to the business, tries to re-establish his position and get a revenge on his old enemies. The gameplay takes place on two layers: in the strategic part, players focus on developing the company by completing subsequent jobs consisting in delivering goods, while adjusting to outside factors as well as to actions of the competition. In the simulation part, players can take control of various types of ships in a series of diversified challenges. TransOcean 2: Rivals has three game modes: single-player campaign, free mode, and AI challenge. A multiplayer module is also available – the player competes against six other players, and can use various tactics to win (including a sabotage).
