Fantasy sandbox role-playing game, being a debut project from AAD Productions studio. Developers wanted to combine the mechanics of classic RPG titles (like The Elder Scrolls series) with survival aspects and free world exploration, typical of modern MMO productions. The game is played in first-person perspective, and the gameplay is focused on exploring subsequent locations by ourselves, instead on completing consecutive story quests. During the game we have to take care of the food supply.

The Nether's storyline presents a bleak vision of the near-future world in which a mysterious cataclysm has put an end to human civilization. 10 years after this event a handful of survivors penetrate the ruins of cities in search of supplies, exposing themselves to attacks from bandits and monsters with supernatural abilities, known as the Nether.

The player controls a female badger trying to survive in a hostile environment with several offspring to feed. Shelter is a third-person perspective game. The player's mission is to find an appropriate den and ensure the safety of the badger family. The player has to provide basic living conditions for the small badgers.

The action is set in the far future, and the game emphasizes the economic aspect. The player's task is to colonize the planet 3452C, commonly known as the eponymous Maia. The actual gameplay takes place on procedurally generated maps, not larger than two square kilometers each. The game features relatively complex mechanics.
