The Escapists: The Walking Dead

A spin-off installment of the unique top-down game The Escapist, developed by the publishers of the original, Team 17. The gameplay mechanics are identical to the first installment of the series, but the plot was set in the universe of the popular The Walking Dead comic, having many common plot points. Therefore, in the game, we assume the role of a policeman named Rick Grimes, and our task is not to escape from jail but to get out of a number of locations overrun by bloodthirsty zombies.

A 2D action RPG in the fantasy convention from the independent developer Daniel Wright, featuring a classic view from above. DarkMaus’ story takes place in a land inhabited by humanoid rodents and other intelligent animals. The player takes control over a lone mouse warrior, traversing the world corrupted by darkness in search of anything worth saving. Gameplay focuses on exploration and fights with various monsters, offering arcade, but relatively slow-paced battles.

The gameplay mechanics are inspired by classic top-down shooters.

In return, the little critters of nature have decided to take revenge. Retaliation turns out to be an exceptionally easy task, which encourages the animals to try and take over the entire world. In terms of mechanics, the game is an unusual auto-runner.

In contrast to its predecessor, in Diep.io the player doesn’t control a ball, but a small tank in which he fights other players over points. The vehicle can move in all directions and the cannon is controlled independently from the rest of the machine. The gameplay focuses on sending missiles at colorful figures appearing on the map.
