Ghost of Tsushima Becomes 15th Top Rated PS4 Exclusive

According to Metacritic summary, Ghost of Tsushima is the 15th highest rated PlayStation 4 exclusive, 17th if we ignore the occasional PC ports of some titles.

Ghost of Tsushima is the last big PS4 exclusive.

The day before yesterday, Ghost of Tsushima debuted on the market. The release was an important moment, as the game is the last big exclusive to hit PlayStation 4, and Forbes decided to make a summary of projects available exclusively on this console, listing the highest-rated titles.

It was based on the average ratings calculated by Metacritic. Forbes' editor was a little mistaken in the comparison, claiming that Sucker Punch's latest work takes seventeenth place, as he missed out on Journey's and NiOh's PC ports. In fact, Ghost of Tsushima is in number fifteen position among the highest-rated exclusivees available on Sony's console. The seventeenth place is only valid if we count only games not available on Nintendo Switch and Xbox One consoles.

Apparently Forbes does not consider PCs as direct competition for PS4. Microsoft and Sony also have a similar approach. The former is currently releasing all its games on the PC. Sony is more cautious about the matter, but has decided to release the PC version of Horizon: Zero Dawn, which will be released next month. When it happens, Ghost of Tsushima will advance to fourteenth spot.

The above list is impressive and very diversified. However, it also shows how important multi-platform games are today. Once the exclusivity requirement is removed, Ghost of Tsushima is only the 194. the highest rated game on PlayStation 4.

Of course, for many people, exclusives play a decisive role in choosing which platform to buy. So we expect Sony to continue to invest heavily in games of this type to encourage us to purchase the PS5.

Let's recall that Ghost of Tsushima was released on July 17 this year,. The title was very much to the liking of our editor, who gave it 9/10.
