Paradox Interactive, the publisher of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, released an official statement informing that the game will no longer be developed by Hardsuit Labs. It is still unknown who will take over its duties. However, we know that the game, despite the publisher's earlier assurances, will not be released in 2021.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 was announced two years ago and was originally scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2020. The game's release was delayed several times, and a number of notable creators left or were fired from the team working on the title, including screenwriter Chris Avellone, senior story designer Cara Ellison, creative director Ka'ai Cluney, and lead writer and one of the fathers of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines - Brian Mitsoda.
Paradox Interactive has not announced a new expected release date for the title. Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
