No Man's Sky NEXT: Fleet Command Room

Since the Atlas Rises update, No Man's Sky gives you an opportunity to command a fleet of ships. However, the No Man's Sky NEXT update allows you to command 50 frigates from your freighter's bridge from a special Fleet Command Room. You need to build this room in order to fully enjoy its functions.

Before the update I had a base - what now?

When you start the game for the first time after updating to No Man's Sky NEXT, you will discover that your old freighter base no longer exists. You have to rebuild it. Simply enter the construction menu and click Command Fleet. However, this option only Works in Normal and Survival Modes.

I can't create a base - why?

This option is not yet available in creative mode. However, the developers are planning an update to fix this bug.

How to create a Fleet Command Room?

The Command Room will allow you to control the fleet. To create this room you need 120 units of Silver, 40 units of Gold and 10 units of Tritium. You can also create other rooms in the base by using the building menu. You'll need mainly Tritium and Silver, so buy it if you want to build a No Man's Sky freighter base.
