No Man's Sky NEXT: How to toggle FPP/TPP view?

The No Man's Sky Next update introduced the option to change the player perspective; now you can traverse the worlds in No Man's Sky both from first and third person view. You can change the perspective when exploring the planet and when flying the ship. On this page we will describe in detail how to change the perspective in No Man's Sky game, so that it does not cause any problems.

Ship

If you are playing on a PC, push the "X" key. This will bring up the options menu. You need to find and access the "tools" option. You will be able to scan a facility and choose a perspective. However, if you play on the console you have to push down to the D-Pad, which will launch the options menu.

Planet

If you are outside of your ship, you can also change your perspective. However, you have to remember that perspectives in the ship and on the planet have no influence on each other. If you leave the ship from the perspective of a third person, you can travel on the planet in FPP.
