No Man's Sky NEXT: Storage Container

Storage Container is s special container found in No Man's Sky that gives you additional space for holding items either in your base or your starship. You can craft up to 10 Storage Containers (each has 5 stacks; every stack has 1,000 Vortex Cubes).

How to craft a Storage Container?

A Storage Container be crafted with blueprints and the following resources: Magnetised Ferrite (50) and Sodium (20). The latter can be found on a planet's surface. Magnetised Ferrite has to be created in a portable refiner. You need Pure Ferrite to get this resource.

Additional tips

Here are a few tips for Storage Containers.

1. You can change their color to be able to distinguish them faster,
2. You have to stand in front of a container in order to use it - a Storage Container won't open if you approach it from a side,
3. Storage Containers are numbered - from 0 to 9. Thanks to that you can identify them. However, these numbers are visible only when you are inside of a ship or a base.
