No Man's Sky NEXT: What's new?
On 24 July, No Man's Sky received its fourth major update. It takes about 10 GB and is proudly called 'No Man's Sky Next'. The creators tried to improve their title with a lot of new content in order to attract the masses of players and this time convince them to stay longer.

In the No Man's Sky Next update you will find, among other things:
- Multiplayer mode
- Third-person perspective
- Audio and graphics improvements
- Galactic Atlas
- Character customization
- Other
Multiplayer mode

This mode allows you to play in cooperating groups of four during such activities as attacking other players. This mode should appeal to every player, regardless of whether they want to build a base with a friend or take part in battles on alien planets,
Third-person perspective

This view allows you to have a broader view of the planet's structures surrounding you. You can change the camera perspective at any given moment, regardless of whether you're exploring a planet on foot or flying a ship. However, doing that requires you to pause the game. If you want to learn more about this, there's a whole section on switching perspectives in No Man's Sky in our guide.
Audio and graphics improvements

As the game took some flak for graphics quality, the creators took care to improve the visuals aspects of their production. As a result, the graphics requirements of the title have slightly increased.
Galactic Atlas

Site where you can find a map of the in-game galaxy with the most important places marked according to the No Man's Sky community. It is to be regularly updated.
Character customization

Just enter your ship and you will be able to freely change your looks. This will let you customize the character to your heart's content and enjoy its unique appearance in the game.
Other

Additionally, a number of new resources, missions and challenges have emerged to encourage old -time players to take one more shot at the title. What's more, the first season of social challenges is expected to start soon. It will offer a range of special missions available for a limited period of time. The prize for their completion will be special items and cosmetic visual upgrades, all of which will be available for free.
