The first large expansion to the popular survival game State of Decay. This sandbox title created by Undead Labs takes the player to a post-apocalyptic world overrun by a zombie plague. The player must rebuild the human society. The expansion adds a new campaign, the completing of which takes a few hours. The campaign tells a completely new story. The game takes place in a small city called Denforth, where the protagonist is sent in order to save the scientists that are there. In contrast to the original game, in Lifeline one doesn’t have to face the constant lack of supplies and weaponry – when the game starts, the player has plenty of both. Eventually, however, the hordes of zombies attacking the players hideout will cause the supplies to run out, forcing the player to look for alternative ways of survival. The developers added a bit of non-linearity to the game and greatly improved the communication system in the team.

We may lead either the US Army or the German Oberkommando. Each side received new, previously unavailable abilities and enhancements as well as strategic and tactical capabilities. A roguelike hack'n'slash game featuring pixel-art visuals. Crawl was designed specifically for local multiplayer and developed by the debuting team at Powerhoof. In the game, heroes exploring dungeons encounter monsters defending the place against undesired visitors. Up to four players can meet in a session - one of them assumes the role of the hero traversing dungeons filled with threats. The remaining players control various monsters, whose task is to prepare traps and obstacles in order to make it more difficult for the hero to achieve their goal. In terms of mechanics, the game resembles classic roguelike RPGs, in which the player gathers parts of equipment scattered throughout dungeons and levels up gradually, improving their skills. When the hero dies, the players swap their roles, but interestingly, the new hero keeps both the items and experience gathered by the player who was previously in control of that character. Once the hero has reached level 10, they go through a mysterious portal and the final boss fight begins.

An unusual adventure game by tiger & squid, and independent Dutch studio. The protagonist of Beyond Eyes is a ten-year-old girl named Rae who lost her sight in an accident while firing up fireworks. Ever since that day, she spends most of the time in the garden next to her house, accompanied by a cat named Nani. One day, the animal disappears, and Rae decides to leave the house for the first time in a long time to find her lost pet. The gameplay consists of traversing alien, hostile environment in search of traces of the lost cat. Since we control a blind girl, the game quite significantly deviates from the established formulas of the genre, because the protagonist has to skillfully use the incoming stimuli, mostly sound-based ones, for the purposes of orientation and visualization of the surrounding world. The game features unusual graphics that are full of endless white and dimly outlined shapes.

Afterwards, those are used to reinforce the player's combat machines, as well as to activate different special abilities. Besides, there is always one of a cast of heroes present on the battlefield, who supports your actions and keeps killing approaching enemies. However, the advanced AI of the base is there to help – it suggests reconstructing other deceased colonists and making use of their knowledge in order to remove the obstacles. The gameplay has all the typical characteristics of the adventure games genre – your main objective is to explore and solve puzzles. The second DLC expansion included in the season pass for The Evil Within. It shows the second half of the story from the previous expansion, starting right after the end of The Assignment. Once again, the players assume the role of Julia Kidman, partner of the game’s amnesiac protagonist, who mysteriously disappeared during the events of the game. As we progress through levels, we find answers to our questions and learn the secret behind the Julia's disappearance. As in the main game, gameplay encompasses mainly exploration, solving puzzles and fighting various monsters. However, the atmosphere of both DLCs is much thicker and horror-oriented.
