A combination of a classic platformer with a dynamic shooter. The game was created by Super Mega Team - an independent developer. The player is taken to Gamearth, a planet which fell victim to space invaders who call themselves Nexgen. Rise is the only hope the inhabitants of Gamearth have - he is an 11-year-old boy equipped with a holy artifact - a pistol known as Shine. The gameplay formula in Rise & Shine was based on jumping across platforms, avoiding traps, solving simple puzzles and fighting enemies. The protagonist's weapon undergoes modifications that change the way the pistol works. As a result, the player can use ammunition enriched with electric charge or remotely controlled bullets. The experience comes with a high difficulty level and the player encounters both "cannon fodder" in large numbers and powerful bosses here. All of this is complemented by high-quality 2D visuals characteristic of their cartoonish art style.

The game takes place on the streets with heavy traffic. All race tracks are generated procedurally. All we have to do is to drive as far as possible and beat the records set by other players. Highway Getaway offers over two hundred diversified missions. As we progress and achieve better results we will unlock new cars and gain access to new visual modifications, which we can buy for the in-game currency that we get while playing. How much money we make depends on our achievements. Driving at high speed and performing dangerous maneuvers increases our infamy levels, for which we are being paid by a TV station that produces a show about car pursuits. Highway Getaway features great visuals and highly detailed car models.

An elaborate sailing simulator, developed by Orbcreation. The most prominent feature of the game is the realism – seas and oceans the players get to sail have been designed based on the real data regarding wind velocity and direction, water depth, wave height, and wave energy. The weather conditions featured by the game represent those from the real world. Moreover, the players can use the auto-sail option - as the boats sail with a realistic speed, it might take months to reach the destination. When players are away from the game, they are notified of the cruise’s progress via e-mail. The game also features certain MMO elements: players can invite other sailors to board their boats (the game offers such sailing units as the 38 feet long Cruiser, one-man Mini-Transat or a classic 52-feet long cruise yacht), and create groups to sail the seas and oceans in any formation. When doing so, the players can communicate with each other through the built-in chat. The entire experience features high-quality visuals – sudden changes of weather conditions and detailed water animations are bound to satisfy all sailing enthusiasts.

The Walking Dead: March to War is a free-to-play mobile multiplayer strategy game based on The Walking Dead franchise. It was developed by Disruptor Beam, a studio known for games like Game of Thrones Ascent or Star Trek Timelines. March to War features optional microtransactions. The game takes place near Washington, D.C. some time after the zombie epidemic began. We lead a group of survivors and try to keep them alive in the new, post-apocalyptic reality. In order to do so, we will have to expand and upgrade our base, manage our resources, and complete missions. We will also have to find and recruit other survivors. Each of them has their own story, personality, and abilities which we can level up. All deaths are permanent, so losing a high level survivor can be painful. The so-called Council system plays a crucial role in the game. The Council is made of characters we know from the comic books. Each of them is a skilled survivor, making them great leaders of mission squads. It is almost impossible to achieve victory by playing by ourselves. The Walking Dead: March to War forces to create alliances with other players in order to defeat common enemies.

Quicksave option was also implemented, and the possibility to teleport back to the portal we have already discovered. The core of the game in Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Remastered remains the same. Realms of Arkania: Star Trail HD is a remake of the second installment in the best-selling RPG series that was originally released in 1994. The remake was developed by Crafty Studios. The game is based on the The Dark Eye tabletop RPG system and its interface was significantly improved and brought to modern standards, which can be seen in character portraits, new icons, and indicators. Realms of Arkania: Star Trail now also has a minimap. The plot continues the story from the previous game of the series. Our heroes have to unite elves and dwarves in order to create an army capable of facing the orcs. To do so, they have to find two powerful artifacts, the Salamander Stone and a legendary dwarven axe. As we play, we lead a party of heroes we have personally created. Exploration of the game's world (mostly made of bigger and smaller towns and dungeons) is presented from a first-person perspective. The point of view changes to isometric when we enter combat. Properly using our characters skills and abilities will make us victorious in battle.

NHL 18 is another installment in the sports game series developed by EA Sports – a division of Electronic Arts. The gameplay revolves around the same mechanics as the previous installments, trying to faithfully represent ice hockey games; however, the developers implemented some major changes. One of them is the Defensive Skill Stick system, ensuring better control over a player and the hockey stick during defensive maneuvers. Opponents have a wider range of available moves making the game smoother. Also, the AI poses a bigger challenge – from now on, our teammates are better at taking positions and defensive actions, while the AI players are more difficult to defeat. Moreover, NHL 18 introduces the 3 vs 3 mode with slightly different rules – with fewer players on the field, one has more space to execute maneuvers on the ice. The game also allows us to play more conventional modes, such as PvP and both local and online co-op.

A strategy game developed by Graviteam, a developer known from numerous games offering a believable tank warfare experience. The action takes place between 1942 and 1943 during the Tunisian Campaign which was an Allied attempt to defeat Axis forces stationed in North Africa. The players can choose between both sides of the conflict, each offering a separate campaign that plays out in both tactical and strategic fields through a turn-based overview mode and a three-dimensional real-time environment that sees us assume control over individual units. The game is characterized by its realistic approach to tank warfare. We are given fifty different types of vehicles, while their crews and other units are described by a number of statistics that influence their behavior on the battlefield. The enemy forces are controlled by an advanced AI module that learns and responds to our actions. The battles are especially spectacular thanks to a complex physics engine that governs the effect the projectiles have on vehicles, objects, and environment, as well as a dynamic weather and day and night cycle. Due to high difficulty, the game offers a useful practical tutorial that offers step-by-step instructions for novice players.

A space strategy set in a popular universe created in a 1978 TV series. Developed by Black Lab Games, Battlestar Galactica Deadlock gives us an opportunity to assume control of the Colonial Fleet and to take part in a war against the Cylons - a race of man-made cybernetic machines that have rebelled against their creators. The game features both completely new characters and figures the fans of the universe are surely familiar with - however, the story was executed in a way that will not confuse those new to the universe. The player takes part in tactical battles set in a three-dimensional environment. Furthermore, the player recruits officers, conducts political actions within the Cyrannus planetary system, but also expands their fleet alongside progression, based on the unlocked spaceship designs. Apart from the single-player component, the game offers a complex multiplayer mode which allows the player to fight 1v1 duels against commanders from all over the world. All of this is complemented by decent-quality visuals.

An old-school action game developed by one man from the Japanese developer team Skeleton Crew Studio. BackSlash is a beat'em up game, in which the players observe the action from a side perspective. The gameplay builds on battles taking place in special 2D arenas. The player assumes the role of a warrior who represents one of the ten available combat styles that differ from one another in terms of special abilities and weapons used. When in battle, one can use his bare fists, cold steel (e.g. swords and katanas), ranged weapons (e.g. shuriken throwing stars, throwing knives), and a wide range of both offensive and defensive spells. The key to success lies in swift dodging and blocking enemy blows, as well as mounting counterattacks. Additionally, the battlefields can be demolished, which opens new strategic opportunities to the players. The gameplay becomes gradually more dynamic - the longer one plays the game, the faster his character moves.
