An original combination of a third-person action game with endless runner mechanics. MechRunner was created by Spark Plug Games - an independent developer. The plot is set in an alternative reality of the 20th century. In 1940s, Russian scientists discovered a wreck of an alien spacecraft and used the technology obtained from the craft to create an incredibly powerful weapon for the KGB. When a power-hungry general decides to use that weapon against Europe, one engineer stands up to him, having constructed their own combat mech. The player controls this machine in the game, destroying everything that comes from the opposite side of the screen - both from the ground and air. When out of combat, the player speeds through the levels, avoiding obstacles and gathering various collectibles that allow for mech upgrades. Interestingly, the machine can transform into a tank at any time, which changes the combat style and armament.

The second installment of the highly-rated series of tactical real time strategy games, developed by an independent developer NorbSoftDev. Scourge of War: Waterloo takes us to 1815 to take part in one of the greatest clashes in history, in which Napoleon’s army was crushed by the forces of Seventh Coalition, spearheaded by English and Prussian forces. The players can take control over one of the sides, and save Napoleon from defeat, or contribute to his demise by leading the forces of the aforementioned coalition. The gameplay takes place on faithfully recreated, three-dimensional maps, while the players – depending on the type of the scenario, control the battle on a few levels, from a small regiment up to a large army. The landform and weather condition also play a part, while the developers took every measure to make the game historically accurate, including the appearance and weaponry of the individual forces, and the silhouettes of historical leaders.

This way, the production is a sort of a interquel of the first and the second part of the story. Nigel Danvers, the protagonist of the title’s predecessors, decides to investigate the source of the visions that haunt him. A name “Blackenrock” appears in all of them. Together with his partner, Lucy Reubans, he goes back to the seaside town of Saxton, armed in special equipment for paranormal activity detection. These devices are the biggest novelty in the game. Last Crown: Blackenrock is a point ‘n’ click adventure game with both FPP and TPP cameras. Similarly to its predecessors, the title features black-and-white graphics — only the most important objects use different colors.

An oldschool platform game by Green Lava, initially released for PC Windows as Fenix Rage, and later on as an upgraded version for consoles, under the new title Fenix Furia. The game's protagonist is a boy, a survivor of a devastating explosion which destroyed his village and killed many people. There's also another survivor called Oktarus, who apparently is responsible for the disaster. The distraught boy pursues the stranger, hoping that he can learn the cause of the explosion. The production is a classic platform game and in every level your task is to find a hidden cookie. You can perform long jumps, which allows you to hover in mid-air and quickly travel long distances. This ability is also necessary to avoid getting hurt by the many traps in your path.

A FPP adventure game created by Untold Games, intended for motion controllers and virtual reality sets. In Loading Human we assume the role of Andre Gibson – a man suffering from memory loss, whose wife developed the titular system of transferring the human consciousness and memories into a robotic body. Her motivation was to save her husband’s memory, before he forgets even about his family. For the whole process to end in success, our protagonist has to return to various details from his current life, and relive them in a sense. However, during the procedure, Gibson realizes that he doesn’t know all there is about his wife, and discovers a dark secret behind the Loading Human project. When it comes to the gameplay, the game reuses the classic mechanisms from adventure games, but thanks to VR devices, the game world is highly interactive, with our hero able to move his limbs, picking up and investigating any encountered object.

The player assumes control over the titular research probe that is tasked with exploring an uncharted, hostile planet in search of a powerful energy source that emanates from its core. forma.8 sees us traverse a hostile world in a manner similar to other metroidvania titles. The probe is self-propelled and subjected to the basic rules of dynamics – the player often has to resort to pressure-sensitive movements in order to get through the natural obstacles or varied enemies, including bosses. Interestingly enough, we encounter various power-ups along the way, which often allow us to gain a temporary advantage over our pursuers. The game is characteristic for its refined graphics based on three-dimensional elements with hand-drawn environment.
