Developed by Voidpoint and published by 3D Realms, Ion Maiden is a sci-fi FPS game. The player is taken to the future and assumes the role of a female mercenary known as Bombshell - her goal is to save humanity from an invasion of aliens. Although the game utilizes the Build engine from Duke Nukem 3D, the creators modernized it to a significant degree. Mechanics were also improved - the formula of said classic title laid the groundwork, though it got adequately expanded. Dynamic exchange of fire constitutes the core of the experience; when fighting, the player uses plenty of diverse firearms. Practically each of those has an alternative firing mode or uses different kinds of ammunition. The maps are large, non-linear, and full of alternative paths. As for the environmental objects, many of them are interactive. Ion Maiden presents the players with retro-styled visuals featuring angular locations and characters in the form of 2D sprites.

Hinako, the protagonist, is an ordinary girl who attends high-school, but one day she is taken to an alternative dimension inhabited by dangerous monsters. In that realm, she discovers a mysterious power in herself, which allows her to transform into a magic warrior. Along with her friends, possessing similar abilities, she fights the threats coming from the other reality.

A complete edition of the action RPG called Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms, which comprises both the first part of the story and the second chapter, which initially was intended to be available in the form of a free (but not standalone) DLC. In Shadows: Awakening, the player gets to explore a fantasy world of Kingdoms of Heresy, which is engulfed in chaos soon after the demons known as Devourers have taken control of the celestial bodies of the murdered members of Penta Nera. Shortly after, the demons started a war for power and immortality posing a threat to the entire world. One of the Devourers differs from his kin - he can consume not one but many souls, thus he is tasked with assembling a team of heroes and stopping the threat. The developers from Games Farm have given the players fifteen characters, diversified in terms of their specialties, combat skills, and personalities. One can choose three protagonists out of the aforementioned group - on their journey, the player can switch between the chosen characters at any given moment. Moreover, one can also assume the role of the Devourer and travel to the alternate dimension inhabited by monsters. During the game, one gets to explore diverse locations, fight numerous foes, and complete diverse quests (both story-related and side quests). As the story progresses, one's characters level up and develop their combat potential by acquiring increasingly powerful pieces of equipment.

Another installment in the best-selling racing game series developed by Turn 10 in cooperation with Microsoft. In Forza Motorsport 7, the players can participate in races taking place on over 30 different tracks, while driving one of the 700 available licensed cars. All of the vehicles can be modified in terms of their performance and appearance. The driving physics implemented herein are neatly balanced between a simulation and arcade racing and should suit both racing veterans and beginners, who can use a number of available facilitations. Forza Motorsport 7 is one of the first games ever to exploit the full potential of Xbox One X, allowing the players to experience the 4K resolution at stable 60 frames per second. Apart from the free-to-play spinoff - Forza Motorsport 6: Apex - the seventh full-fledged installment is also the first in the series’ history to be released not only on consoles but also on PC. A special edition of the fifth installment in the popular RPG series by Bethesda, created for VR headgear and motion controllers. The plot of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR does not differ from that in the original version of the game. The story takes place in a fantasy world, which is threatened by dragons, led by Alduin. You play as the last Dovahkiin, a human that can speak dragon language, which makes them the only one capable of stopping the oncoming apocalypse. In terms of technical aspects, the game is based on the Special Edition of the production and, compared to the original, features e.g. improved lighting, higher resolution textures, and previously unavailable visual effects. What changed most is the combat system: you aim by moving your head and attack by using motion controllers, transferring your moves onto your character.

The fourth full-fledged installment of the popular series of arcade fighting games in which characters known from Capcom games are facing Marvel Comics superheroes. In order to stop the villain the heroes from both dimensions have to find four Infinity Stones and face a group led by the so-called Jedah Dogma. Similarly to previous entries in the series, the title is a three-dimensional fighting game, in which the players participate in two-on-two battles. The fights take place on three-dimensional arenas and include most famous Marvel heroes and characters from Capcom games. The Infinity Stones are a new feature – they provide warriors with additional abilities during the combat.

Another incarnation of a minimalistic real-time strategy with RPG elements, developed by an independent studio called noio. Like in the original Kingdom for PC Windows and mobile devices, in Kingdom: Two Crowns, the player assumes the role of a king tasked with taking care of his loyal subjects and providing for them. Unlike the original release, in Kingdom: Two Crowns the player can enjoy both single player and cooperative game modes. During the game, one observes the action from the side perspective. Gameplay revolves around two main aspects – the first one being exploration (during which one can acquire gold they can give to the encountered settlers), while the second one focuses on expanding the settlement by erecting production buildings, creating tools for the settlers, and building diverse fortifications, which prove useful after dusk. During the night, one’s domain is attacked by vicious trolls and the player has to pay careful attention to their crown, because when it falls into enemy hands, the game is over. Luckily, the player can unlock numerous perks on their adventures to stand a better chance against the increasingly powerful foes. The game features simple, yet pleasing pixel-art visuals.

The general premise is the same as in Minecraft, but unlike the original game, based on the first java edition, this one draws from the mobile edition called Minecraft: Pocket Edition. Therefore, gameplay is not as extensive, and the game itself is not compatible with the original Minecraft. Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition features cross-play with the mobile version players, and additionally allows players to unlock Xbox Live achievements assigned to the their account. The players who bought the original java version, can receive this title for free.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is the eighth installment of the fantasy action RPG series from Nihon Falcom. The game takes place in the same Greek mythology-inspired fantasy world as the series' previous installments. Once again we play as the warrior called Adol Christin who, after the ship he was traveling went under, ends up with the rest of the crew on the cursed island Seiren. Our hero's dreams about the mysterious girl named Dana turn out to be the key to solving the mystery of the island. As per the series' tradition, we will spend most of our time on fighting with various enemies. The game features an arcade combat system. We are accompanied by many characters with different abilities in our adventures and we can switch between them anytime we want to. Every once in a while we will also play as the titular Dana. Her parts of the game are more riddle-oriented.
