A digital adaptation of a popular collectible card game, Yu-Gi-Oh!, which originates from the manga of the same title. It was developed by Konami and presents further adventures of Yugi, a boy well-known to all fans of the franchise, who collects the Duel Monsters cards and is deeply fascinated with this game (which involves battles between various summoned creatures). His obsession leads to a chain of surprising events — the emissaries of evil will materialize the monster cards in the real world and use Yugi’s skills to achieve their wicked goals. The protagonist’s task is to defeat his opponents and save the world from certain doom. Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Yugi the Destiny was designed to be as faithful as possible to the rules and other aspects of the real game, so the battles fought in-game actually do not differ from those fought in the real world. The advanced artificial intelligence makes our enemies react adequately to our moves as well as take initiative when possible.

A stand-alone version of collective card game (CCG) that debuted in the bestselling RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, by CD Project RED, and quickly became acknowledged as one of the best minigames in history. In Gwent: The Witcher Card Game players compete against each other with progressively collected decks of cards from five different factions. As in most CCG, the gameplay is turn-based, but quite unusually, the player’s objective is to gather more attack points than opponent. Cards are placed in three different rows, respectively for melee soldier, ranged units and siege machines like catapults. Our army’s strength can be both increased and decreased with special cards, unique skills of commanders or weather effects. Aside from complex multiplayer mode, the game also offers an episodic story campaign.

The game was developed by Blizzard Entertainment company, who mention the cult card game Magic: The Gathering as one of their major inspirations. Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft lets you pick one of the nine available character classes and build you own deck of cards, which you can use in battles against the AI (tutorials) or living opponents (duels, tournaments). Gameplay mechanics are based on a set of easy to learn rules. Victory is rewarded with new cards. The game is based on free-to-play model with optional microtransactions, which means that although you can play Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft for free, some elements require payment.

Compared to the previous works of the studio, the developers managed to increase the level of interactivity – in Video Strip Poker HD, the girls have a set of varied reactions to possible situations. The artificial intelligence was also enhanced, while the game is easier to play thanks to the clear interface.

A new installment of an unusual RPG from Defiant Development, enriched with board and card game elements. Similarly to its predecessor, the player is tasked with taking on the challenges created using cards rolled by a magical enemy, called The Dealer. Thanks to the efforts of the previous protagonist, he was defeated, but the hero was0 corrupted by his own power, and became a bloodthirsty tyrant. The Dealer returns to train a new hero, capable of facing his predecessor. The overall idea for the gameplay had remains unchanged, but a number of new elements have been introduced. Hand of Fate 2 introduces an additional plane to the game map, instigating more situations with potential encounters – that part of the game received additional requirements such as time-oriented objectives. Aside from that, our hero doesn’t have to be alone anymore – we received an ability to recruit comrades, and create a party.

To defeat the antagonists armed with powerful special abilities, the expansion introduces a set of completely new cards, representing, among others, new skills. What is worth noting, cards gained in the course of the campaign can be used also during online matches in the Arena. A card game with turn-based strategy elements that uses free-to-play distribution model with microtransactions. Faeria invites the players into an old fantasy world, home to humans as well as other intelligent species. The game puts emphasis on the lore and contains much additional information about the fictional universe. As for the gameplay, Faeria represents an unorthodox approach to the card game genre. Duels between two players are the foundation of the game. The fights are waged by using cards drawn from users’ personal decks. The warriors must also gather resources and use them in the duels. The cards represent heroes, effects and spells, but they cannot be played freely. Instead they have to be used on special, hexagon fields. Empty at first, the map becomes filled with hexes due to the player’s actions, and various terrain types affect the behavior of units and spells. Another innovation in the game is the necessity for characters to find themselves on adjacent fields in order to start the battle. It is worth adding that Faeria also allows the owners of various gaming platforms to face each other.
