This way, the player can try to get their opponent from behind, or use the elements of the environment – for example, hitting an enemy with an armchair. The combat system is clearly arcade and requires some manual skills to master the combo sequences. In all, the players can choose from a set of ten fighters. Lastfight offers three main gameplay modes: story campaign, and one-on-one or two-on-two duels. Aside from that, a few extra modes have been prepared, including Free for All, where everybody clashes with everybody, Endless, in which the objective is survival with only one health bar, and Pinball, consisting of throwing balls at our enemy. Lastfight employs a lowbrow, comic book-like visual style.
