The Last of Us 2 Hailed GotY by PlayStation Blog Readers

The Last of Us: Part 2 dominated the next vote for game of the year. This time, it won on the official PlayStation blog.

The decisive winner is The Last of Us: Part 2, which won in seven categories, including the most important one, The Game of the Year.

Before you start joking about Sony awarding itself, I'd like to inform that votes were cast by readers of the official PlayStation blog. In total, more than 2.5 million readers were registered, who voted in 17 categories. There were four titles in each category which were awarded relevant trophies, from bronze for fourth place to platinum for the highest number of votes. Below is the entire ranking in order from main winner to bronze trophy winner.

The whole thing was dominated by The Last of Us: Part 2, a lot of distinctions were also collected by Ghost of Tsushima from Sucker Punch. Most of the list are titles exclusive to Sony consoles, which shouldn't come as a surprise in the case of such list.

The love for electronic entertainment awakened by Flimbo's Quest blossomed during the first adventures with Heroes of Might & Magic, reaching its peak after purchasing the first PlayStation. As he grew older, he had more encounters with Nintendo portable consoles, and also returned to the PC as an additional gaming platform. He collects games and is a fan of emulation.
