Saints Row 2022: A Piece of the Action - walkthrough

This main mission in Saints Row, A Piece of the Action, revolves around unlocking your first venture - JimRob's Garage. Our walkthrough explains where to find the persons-of-interest in the Idols' camp, how to attach a tow cable to the container and deliver it to the garage.

Quest rewards

1. XP and cash;
2. access to the JimRob's Garage venture - grants you hourly income and extra missions developing the business;
3. access to the Cash Transfer app - lets you claim money generated by ventures;
4. access to vehicle tuning - drive a vehicle into a garage (the one by your hideout counts as well) to purchase and install new parts.
5. Idols Anubis Helmet headgear - a cosmetic item which doesn't affect your stats or skills.

Meet with JR

Remember, you start mission by selecting it off the phone app. JR owns an auto repair shop in West Providencia. Find him at the back of the building and listen as he describes the job he has for you.

Go to the Idols' camp

The gang's camp is to the north-east of the workshop. Don't attack anyone once you get there - first, you must enter the camp and locate a few people.

First you must find Sherryl - she's wearing a snake mask. Examine the yellow area on the radar. We've pictured the person you're looking for above.

Now you must find Martin - we've pictured him above, he's by the grill.

Finally, find Timmy O - he's next to the motorcycle.

Find JR's container

Head to the newly marked area on the map. There's a group of Idols near the container you must deal with. They shouldn't pose a big threat.

Attach tow cable to container

Start off by stealing a buggy, but don't drive away just yet.

It comes equipped with a tow cable you must attach to the container. Park the buggy so that a green link appears (example pictured above). Then press a button (R1/RB on the controller) to attach the cable.

Return to JR

You must now take the container to the garage. You can use the towed container to destroy other vehicles - swerve to move the container, slamming it into your pursuers. This will be your primary method of fighting off the Idols chasing you.

Try not to go off-road and not to get too close to buildings, walls and other indestructible objects, as you may end up getting stuck.

Clear out the remaining Idols

After delivering the cargo you must dispatch the two groups of Idols who'll appear near the garage. We recommend either getting out of the vehicle and battle them on foot, or ram them with your car, though they are able to dodge well.

You'll encounter more elite foes with yellow armor bars. As a reminder, they're immune to takedowns until their armor breaks - you must deplete the yellow bar before you can kill them. After the battle talk to JR again to finish the quest and unlock the garage as your first Venture.
