Do quests have a time limit to complete them?
- The most important information is that you don't have to rush to start or complete quests that are on the Objective Board. This also applies to eliminating main objectives, including Shinbakufu. There is no risk of missing the chance to catch some elite opponent, even if you track them down a few hours later.
- In some cases, the game may block you from doing a specific task or part of it. This is primarily related to the seasons and, for example, a given target may only be found in winter. The same is also true for quests in Rin's storyline related to Yasuke (she is also a romance option for the samurai). Rin's subsequent missions are unlocked each time the season changes.
- In exceptional situations, the game may force you to act quickly during the mission. Not being fast enough may lead to the death of an ally or the escape of the pursued person. However, these are only isolated cases.
Time-limited Animus challenges
- The above does not apply to tasks and challenges associated with Animus and the Battle Pass. These activities and minor missions are on rotation.
- In case of some anomalies on the Objective Board, you may have up to 7 days to complete them. Hovering the cursor over a given anomaly will display the remaining time to complete it. However, there are no penalties for ignoring them. You won't get a reward from a given anomaly, but others will appear in their place next week.
