Assassins Creed Shadows: Where is Imai Sokyu?

Searching Sakai is one of the first main quests in Assassin's Creed Shadows. You will activate it while hunting for the second main target, the Golden Teppo. On this guide page, we describe where to find gunsmiths and Imai Sokyu.

Where to find the gunsmiths?

Your first objective is to find the gunsmiths. For this purpose, head to the port city of Sakai, to its eastern outskirts. The gunsmiths you are looking for are standing in the yard, right next to a kakurega. Hide behind the cover indicated by the game and use the Observe mode to eavesdrop on them. After that, talk to them.

One of the gunsmiths, Asajiro, will attempt to escape. Chase him and kill him - look around carefully, because if you kill him near a guard, you will be attacked. In that case, save yourself by running away - if you keep the guards at a distance, at some point they will stop chasing you. The guards cannot go onto the roofs, so climbing onto any nearby building will allow you to escape easily. Upon killing Asajiro, you will automatically receive forged documents, which will allow you to pretend to be a trader.

How to find Imai Sokyu?

Your next objective is to find Imai Sokyu. He also resides in Sakai, in the bottom right corner of the city. Investigate the Sakai Firearm District - Sokyu is in a large building with a backyard. Talk to him, and then follow him to complete the quest.
