AC Shadows: Give or withhold manifest?

During The Ox main mission in the Harima region, at some point you will receive a task called Of My Enemy, during which you will have to talk to Hiromichi's employee. At the very end of this task, if you are not playing in canon mode, you will be faced with the choice of whether to give the manifest to Hiromichi, or to withhold it. Below you will find out what consequences await you for choosing each option.

Consequences related to giving or withholding the manifest

Perhaps this will be good or bad news for you, however, the choice between keeping or giving up the manifest does not matter much. In the canon mode, Naoe hands over the documents to Hiromichi, but in the mode where you make your own decisions, you can choose any option and it won't matter too much.

The only differences between one option and another really concern a few dialog lines at the end of the quest. You don't have to worry that this choice will cause, for example, the death of a character, or you will receive completely different rewards. Choose according to your moral compass.
